My Inquisitor is no longer going to be medium hair, she is going to have the long, flowing locks she was always meant to have, the hair she deserves! Solas, eat your heart out when you see her. I know my male elf Rook will when he sees her but discovers she's already taken.

Yeah given her adventuring days are over Kara is going to let down the pony tail...perhaps grow out her air a little bit.

My Inky had very short hair (because yeah... limited selection) but it looks like I'll have to consider giving her a change of heart regarding hair preferences.

Never mind the hair . . . I'm more excited that they appear to have let Rook Bryony Corrigan use her native Geordie accent instead of going with a Posh BBC English accent.
It will be a refreshing change that I'm really excited about. Going to be perfect for playing Rooks with a sketchy background.
I'm liking her voice and accent as well, I think Bryony gets my Rook, for sure. 🙌

Maker bless mods! My Inky during my current playthrough.

Dragon Age @dragonage You don't need great hair to lead the Veilguard, but it helps ✨
I don't agree. Here's why. Long hair/great hair/or any hair at all creates wind resistance when running slowing you down to get to your destination leaving the enemy to have more time to do their nonsense. Having a shaved head is best. It reduces you from having to use more energy than with long hair. Long hair gets in your face leading to you having to shake your head to move the hair out of the way or using your hand to move the hair out of the way. That brief distraction could make a difference in a fight. The companions will be required to get their heads shaved. If they don't agree, they will be sent away to be re-educated. I would change the name of the game to Dragon Age: The Baldguard.

Aside of being able to give my Inquisitor long hair , what I'm wondering is : what about her missing arm? Do we create a crippled inky , or do they get a prosthetic arm like Neve's leg?

I imagine they will already have dealt with that problem and offer you a basic model with a missing arm which you then alter accordingly with the rest of their features. I doubt they will actually allow us to customise the left arm according to what you thought appropriate to your Inquisitor but you never know, perhaps they will offer some alternatives.

My DA4 female mage Q is a Qunari outcast that learned to live in the school of hard knocks. Shorter than normal Qunari, she had no time for tattoos or piercings. To compensate for her "smaller stature" she wear a Mohawk hair style with plenty of jewelry adorning her horns. Her sartorial fashion leans towards the practical and highlights her fit physique. Not a dandy by any means except for her "head gear" as the only means she permits to express herself.

I would hope they get a functional prosthetic. I don't see my inquisitor hunting down clues, scouring ancient ruins, fighting venatori and who knows what else with only one arm.

Long hair are a mess. I, a long time ago, had a long long mane. It once got caught in a train door, and it freaked me out. Any ennemy can grab your hair and yank. They won't be doing that, but you could write numerous tales of Rook death caused by long hair.

IGN @ign The HAIR in Dragon Age: The Veilguard 😍😍😍
I can see why the game took 10 years to develop. Well, I'd say it was definitely worth the wait if I get long, flowing hair like that!
The game didn't take 10 years to develop and it wasn't originally a single player game, the current game was rebooted as a single player game somewhere in 2020. And the first Frosbite game to release with this hair tech released in Oct 2020 (FIFA 2021).
It's going to be hilarious when ME4 release using Unreal and has shitty hair back too.

Have a death scene with an enemy grabbing rook's hair, swinging rook around above the head, then release rook flinging her/him over a cliff.

Anne-Marie - Collector of Words and Pinecones @lemon_Cookie Please if you know the animator for the shot, can you tell them I love love love what they did. It looks crisp and the hits are super impactful. One of the best looking shot I've seen for the game so far. #bioware #veilguardspoilers
Michael Gamble @gamblemike Scenes are usually crafted by many animators. All the way from conception to finish & polish. All handing off different iterations and many focusing on different things.
