It is a speedrun 8 hours i think 8 ep 1 hour per episode. You can speedrun Mass Effect 2 & 3 but I wouldn't give much hope for your ending chances...  I would. I completed the trilogy in about 14 hours on the ps3. I was able to have a romance in ME3, get the breath scene and have all squadmates survive ME2. I know it's not speedrun number's being on the ps3. With MEA, I did get good speedrun number's on the ps4. Most were around the 3 hour time.

If i had something to say, i would cut oghren and put instead a male dwarf romance option in and makeing him a rogue. I would also cut most of the gifts. And i agree with your opinion on Morrigan. Also i think Leliana need a little bit of work for all games she is in. (choices/Consequences) I would make Shale a full companion, instaed of a DLC companion.
Also i would make 9 companions + dog. Then we would need one more: female mage elve from kirwall?
So yes DAO is one of the best games, but it isn't perfekt.
I’m going to defend Oghren a little. Yes, he is a repository of mid to late 2000s gross and sometimes sexist “funny drunk” humor, but I always appreciated that they accurately portrayed his antics (and alcoholism) as self destructive. He’s a fuck up that’s destroyed every important relationship he’s ever had because of his vices and insecurities, and at least in Awakening we can push him to make some better choices for his family. I’d rather they took another stab at the character from that direction than remove him entirely. As i have family members with alcoholism problems Oghren could only be saved as a character for me, if you put his awakening story in the main game and give me the chance to make him an anti-alcolism at the end.
Edit: but if i don't cut him, i don't get the 9 companions (3/3/3) 6 romances (1 dwarf). So that is why i decided to do it, because Sten as a bi or gay romance i don't know.

I’m trying to imagine Sartoz handing out treats to kids… I don’t buy it, you totally just keep a bowl of candy outside your doorstep, don’t you? Lol. what's wrong with that? 
It's trick or treat here tomorrow night as well. But I have passed candy duty to the husband  ... Because an un-costumed degenerate teenager will steal all the candy and leave an empty bowl for everyone else. I am on occasional relief duty for my wife until 8:00 PM, so all I can do is the character creator until then ... and I really don't care about the character creator as I am the opposite of "artsy".

Baldur's Gate (1) started with killing rats in a basement. A game that has some level of build is classic RPG.  I think here the "start slow" is more: features are brought in slowly. So it's railroaded for a couple of hours. MEA had the same "issue", takes like 4 hours to get the game going.

Yeah! I fixed my "Murphy's law". At least the "driver" was in Python, which means I can edit the code directly (I just had to find where it was). Also, me very thankfull I'm actually a software programmer, even if I don't use the Python language much. I didn't have to wait for the author who make the driver to fix his stuff (could take ages if ever). So I'm back to being ready to play Veilguard. |
