I loathe grouping for Flashpoints Story mode flashpoints drop gear too. I got lots of pieces from mobs doing heroics or questing and that leads to getting Renown ranks which means tech fragments and crate with gear in it (although I'm currently keeping the crates for when I'm higher ilvl). I'm already filling a legacy bank pane with those gear while deconstructing duplicates. I have 3 characters in ilvl 272-276 (even some 278 pieces) over the last week of barely playing them and two of them haven't done Onslaught. I suspect I'm going to be near ilvl 306 once I put 20-30 hours into one of my 75 properly...just not doing it by running the same FP none stop for 20 hours straight. There is also something strange with the system, it was telling me (the "this gear is better" green arrow) that a ilvl 272 pieces with alacrity was better than a ilvl 274 pieces with accuracy when my accuracy was 103% or that I should use a single bladed lightsaber on an AC that use a double bladed one... Nope, game, I'm not changing those things. they do? ... so there is hope  and yeah, I was wondering about the green arrow as well - not entirely sure why and when it appears running the same content (MM red reaper speed stealth run ^^) again and again, oh boy, I‘d go mad btw how come that there are 2 heroics for imps and only one for rep on MekSha?! Does anyone know? Did I miss the 2nd rep one somewhere?! and I really sold my 2 crafted blue critical augments

I haven't tried the older ones but going by my Esseles experience on a level 17 and a level 71 so far, story mode now drop AC and level appropriate gear now (along tech fragment and isotopes...might be a bug, but they fixed the KOTXX chapter giving level 75 creates in the last patch and not that so). Green arrow is supposed to say "this is an upgrade", and it AC/DC into considerations for stats. For example, I changed my Shadow from Infiltrator to Tank (Kinetic Combat) and defensive/absorbing stats have priorities in Tank while alacrity/critical rating has priorities in Infiltrator. I'm not sure about the heroics on Meksha. I've seen people mention only one heroic on Imperial chat when I found two and I was confused, lol. I haven't run it on a Republic character yet. I wanted to take my Smuggler through over the weekend but I got engrossed in my new Consular instead.

even the new blue ones sell for several millions *tries to jump and look over the big pile of credits* tell me about it  I am selling just about anything augment related atm. I don't do Ranked, MM FP or Ops, so I will never have a use for them. I might gear up once the prices drop down a lot, but until then it's all going on the GTN.
I gathered a bit of gear from Veteran FPs (story/solo mode FPs also drop an ok amount of gear), getting about 2-3 useful pieces per run. Then I went back to GSF and the boxes you get per match suddenly contained stuff from 290 to 306 rating (I was at 281 and after a few games went to 288). Not to mention I got a ton of crafting mats and Tech fragments (got 2 set pieces and a tactical item from the vendor thus far and am close to piece number 3). I honestly can't decide what set bonus to go for. At the end I picked my first one to be 2% Mastery (useless cus of the caps for End/Power and Matsery), 75% speed and 20 % heal upon a kill (since I go mainly Veteran FPs with no healer and do story runs, it will be a nice boost and self heal, lol). If people realize how rewarding is GSF both in terms of gear and materials, matches will be popping nonstop.
I like the "Bound to Legacy" stuff. I have enough in storage to get an alt to 282 right away. Soon probably will have an alt suit of 290+.

I’ve tried making augment kits and selling them. I can’t make them fast enough to make the piles of money you all are though. Always running out of mats and having to harvest or run missions.
I did sell a hypercrate to a generous guildie though so got 200 million for that. Lol

Now remember to dress appropriately in a different Cartel outfit every day, spam the fleet chat with "money is easy to get in this game", look down on anyone doing Heroics/dailies for the money. Whenever in a group, use at least 5 different "out of combat" heals (the rarer, the better) and NEVER EVER use the basic one everyone has. In fact if someone uses the basic "out of combat" heal, ask "Hey, what's that? I forgot it exists.". While in your Stronghold, always comment in the General chat how cheap is the "insert whatever 5-20 million+ random item you find on the GTN". And say you just sold the same one last week for 100 million. After that slam down harshly anyone who dares to claim money is hard to get and that you personally know other player/s who made billions and never even grinded dailies/heroics, but were just smart (implying your poor audience is anything but smart).

today in SWTOR... slowly getting to 280  finished conquest, Onderon weekly, did some Mek-Sha H2 and then I thought to myself, aaah, fuck it, let's try Veteran Solo Red Reaper with my Assassin... and it worked tried it twice now, around 15 mins per run, last boss is annoying and I have to switch my comp from passive to active to passive again and again but other than that it is almost fun and the loot is nice too so I will do more over the next days to finish the FP-weekly there'll (most likely - Eric posted sth like that) be a patch next week (and no one knows if they plan a nerf) so the RR (and Hammer Station) console was totally crowded everyone is trying to do as much runs as possible almost reached 5000 TF but just "got rid" of some by buying from the SoW Vendor (some armorings and the like)... looked at the Assassin Vendor but couldn't decide on a Tactical (neither general nor discipline related) the general one with dealing damage increases damage or something like that sounded nice (better than the default one we all get ^^) do you have a favorite Tactical - no matter the class? |

BTW - there are also 2 republic side heroics on Mek-Sha ^^ (I just never found the quest giver for the second one  ) also: here is a quite useful article on how gearing up and the likes works at level 75 by Swtorista and how many Tech Fragments you get from whatever activity
EDIT: and I got my first Tactical from the RR Veteran it is the one where your luck of critical hits increases and is reset when you critically hit (when I logged out my critical was at 150% )

also: here is a quite useful article on how gearing up and the likes works at level 75 by Swtorista and how many Tech Fragments you get from whatever activity
GSF weekly (7 matches, wins count double) gives you 700 tech fragments and you get a gear box per match. Holy Molly! I see what saandrig meant now.

I tried a story mode star fortress flashpoint on a level 68 character that I hadn’t played in a while. Imagine my surprise that the mobs didn’t scale to her level. level 75 mobs finished her off in seconds. |

Yeah it’s more a vendor bug than a crafting bug. But crafting is still off, if not broken. It’s really not worth doing past tier 10 |

They really seems to have buffed the rewards now to get people to try it again. Khehehe, lots of fresh meat for the slaughter!  GSF pops quite regularly. But the overall skill level has dropped since the golden days. Which is actually good for new players. There are no predators that end up with 20+ kills all the time. At least not when I play at least. So far I have lost just 1 game since 6.0...ok, ok, I get 20+ kills...sometimes. The "aces" nowadays would have been considered mediocre few years ago.
Server - Darth Malgus with most of my toons (previously Red Eclipse, previously Peragus Mining Facility on launch). I got toons on just about all servers though.

Yup GSF and I'm pretty sure nobody has tried it in years...well except saandrig. They really seems to have buffed the rewards now to get people to try it again. Khehehe, lots of fresh meat for the slaughter! GSF pops quite regularly. But the overall skill level has dropped since the golden days. Which is actually good for new players. There are no predators that end up with 20+ kills all the time. At least not when I play at least. So far I have lost just 1 game since 6.0...ok, ok, I get 20+ kills...sometimes. The "aces" nowadays would have been considered mediocre few years ago.
Server - Darth Malgus with most of my toons (previously Red Eclipse, previously Peragus Mining Facility on launch). I got toons on just about all servers though.
I tried queuing for star fighter. Waited ten minutes, got bored and did something else. maybe later. Is it pvp? I thought it was over when I did it. |

I find it hilarious that SWTOR executive producer is a hardcore player of the game...who only really get to play the game once they are out of "crunch". Also, more quests for Mek-sah coming. Nice.

I am selling just about anything augment related atm. I don't do Ranked, MM FP or Ops, so I will never have a use for them. I might gear up once the prices drop down a lot, but until then it's all going on the GTN.
finished conquest, Onderon weekly, did some Mek-Sha H2 and then I thought to myself, aaah, fuck it, let's try Veteran Solo Red Reaper with my Assassin... and it worked
