If I recall, all "Rally" stuff is guild perk related. So if the guild doesn't have the perk, it doesn't get the "Rally".

At 276 (all gear pieces at least at that), I was getting 290+ mods (highest so far is 298) and 280 gears from the PvP crates.

I suppose it’s 268 to 270. I would expect to get 272 in that case. The claim appeared to be that it was a massive jump past i rating. It apparently isn’t in my case anyway.

Maybe it has to do with how well you do? I mostly sucked at it. Lol

We both have it, so it a constant bug if that it what it is.

I think my first GSF crate was low crap stuff too, but I wasn't full 276 then. The other 4 crates I got have dropped constant purple mods/enhancements/armoring (290-298), but blue gear (278-280). Unlike FP bosses and overland mobs, you don't seem to get lower iRating from those crates, and it seems to favor mods over gear. Also, it's a great way to raise your conquest and renown (especially when it's Master FP conquest week).

So, I ran a few more GSF missions. One, I got some crap gear, but the other two, I got mods in the 284-288 range. 2 hilts and an armour, I think it was. Still would take me forever to get the iRating up, getting one or two mods per mission.

Maybe it gets better the more crates you open? I got a 306 mod in the 3rd PvP crate I opened today (I did 3 matches to finish the weekly). Although that was after slotting 298/294 stuff into a set pair of gloves and all the other stuff dropped by the crate was in the 290-298 range.

I also bought random set stuff from Kaizen, as I don't know what to buy and the random stuff is cheaper. Got a tactical for my SI or my current Shadow if I switch from Tank to Infiltration...or my other two Shadows. lol.

The search feature was always there, unless they improved it somehow. I have been checking with it how many people play GSF for years. The best thing to type is "denon lost mesas over" in any order. You might get a few hits for Lost Island too sometimes, but it will show if anyone is in a game for your faction.

I really hate the 2nd republic H2 on Mek-Sha (where you have to find a data pad and then kill the slave trader): the aggro range seems huge, the respawn timers are way too short, still working on the boss and whoops, the adds respawn :nupe:

... I was iRating 301 and got wrecked, had to carefully position myself out of range of the trash mobs and lift the boss to kill the others first ... and the loot on Mek-Sha is always green, not matter that I am golden through and through - really annoying, think I‘ll concentrate on Onderon with my Sage for now

After that I needed some positive feelings

Tried the MM RR solo again, actually just wanted to kill the first boss and leave, but thought, ah let’s try the droid boss again... KILLED him without dying once - I just mainly concentrated on the beam numbers and switched them as fast as possible... then I thought, well now finish it! And I did :excited:

last boss was easy again and Red Reaper is now my first (and probably only ^^) 100% achieved FP - even got 20 cc :hue:

Only bad thing: got a tank set bonus piece for my dps :why:

this really seems to not work properly

I'm having this issue where when playing SWtOR my screen will go black and monitor says dvi no signal. I can hear the game running but nothing I do lets me tab out of the game, ctrl+alt_del or exit in any way as the screen stays black. The only way out is to turn off the computer power.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so what they did to solve it.

Sounds like a video card issue. Probably crashing driver or some overheating event. Can you press Alt+Enter when the black screen occurs and go to Windowed mode this way? Additionally - Win+Ctrl+Shift+B is the shortcut to restart the graphic driver (on Win 8 and 10 at least). Try that and if it brings back the feed, then it's definitely a driver issue. Perhaps you should run DDU and make a clean driver install.

If it's a heating issue, then cleaning of the PC's case might be in order. Do you have tools to monitor the temperatures of the GPU/CPU?

Also, some theory crafting, but have you for some reason installed something recently that could have altered your .NET Framework and Visual C++ features? Maybe try a full reinstall of SWTOR, along with the added to it .NET Framework and Visual C++ versions since a repair of a deleted folder doesn't apply them by itself I believe.

Have you changed the monitor recently? You may have had the resolution set previously to one which your new monitor does not support. Locate the client_settings.ini file at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\SWTOR\swtor\settings\... Ensure that NativeHeight, NativeWidth and RefreshRate are set to ones supported by your monitor. You can also try renaming the client_settings.ini to another name and then launch the game - it will load the default settings so you can then tweak to a supported resolution.

I played for a couple hours yesterday with no issue so I didn't get to try the alt+enter thing or the restart graphic driver. I did run msi to see my temps it never got above 71c and I looked it up, that appears to be in the normal range? As far as the .NET and C++ thing, I don't know what that is

I haven't changed monitors and I don't think I've changed any resolution and stuff, but I will check that out today if I get a chance. Thank you so much for all your suggestions. You thought of way more than I did

No idea what your GPU or CPU is, but that temperature might be normal or high, depending when you reach it and on what performance load and hardware. If it's for a GPU that is from about the last 5-6 years or so, it's perfectly ok to get there at 80-100 % load. For a CPU that is not getting to 80-100% load it might be just a bit warm.

.NET and C++ is software stuff, libraries and such. The thing is that SWTOR needs for example a version of .NET that is for SP3 of Windows XP or newer (the game installs it itself when being installed). Some programs however also do that and may downgrade the version of .NET (I thought it shouldn't happen, but apparently it does) - like for SP1, without notifying you clearly. In which case SWTOR may run into your issue because it needs the updated software version.

If SWTOR doesn't have the right version of C++ redistribuable it just crash at start up. I had the issue when I reinstalled Windows 10 after my HD crash back in September (my SWTOR install was on another HD so I just created a new shortcut).

You want the 2010 C++ redist. No harm trying to reinstall that.

The .Net version is 3.5 if I remember correctly, for that you need to check Windows update.

Saying that, did you let the system run with the black screen to see if you ended up with a BSOD (blue screen of death)? Because game crashing at random is how my HD issues started until the point it died on me.
