The trailer gives me Disney Vibes. I don´t no exactly why but thats how i feel it.
Also you defintly see that the trailer is from Lukas Arts and not from Blur like the previous trailers from SWTOR

This looks like it will need a few months of patching still. Can't even imagine how bad it must have been in December.
The UI and inventory are absolutely atrocious. Keybindings reset all the time. Missions are bugged.
I will leave it aside until it's in a better state.

There is a lot to fix and rebalance in this update. It's in a very rough shape.
I feel Bioware will have to take a look at the gearing costs. Probably will be adjusted and lowered because they are obviously not alt friendly.

Even though I'm not a part of the TOR community I heard the raging all the way over the other side of the MMO space. Whoa, I don't want to imagine what the salt was like for people within the community. Was the release that bad? :S It's bad. Doesn't help that they hyped it up as a big 10year anniversary and had big things for the expansion. Also, pretty much any issues that people pointed out with feedback given before the initial delay are still there. As well as a plethora of other bugs that it has brought in. Making pretty much everybody wonder just what the hell they have been doing for 2 months. And if you were coming back for new content, there is only about 2 hours of it and then it's back to just grinding old content once again to make use of a new gear system that's more convoluted then the last. I think the only thing I see people liking is the ability to more freely pick advanced classes, and if subbed u can get a second one. However even that is broken, with many people reporting it is breaking their class altogether or stranding them on the other fleet with no way off because it also breaks their player ship etc....it's a mess

My sub ran out at the end of December and i haven´t even downloaded the "Expension" yet.

Tython had like 9-10 full maps on Star Forge last night (on a Sunday) when I checked. It's been like that since the expac released. The other starter planets are probably just as crazy. Lots of (new?) players starting new characters, totally unaffected by the end game stuff.

I don´t know if it is funny or sad, but with the patch 7.01 that should fix several bugs from 7.0, they broke Galactix Seasons 2. One of the things that worked as intented after 7.0

Drips of new content, always behind schedule, new bugs, and a new hamster wheel to get back to essentially where you were before. I don't know why people still look forward to, and especially PAY for this game anymore. I don't even want to play it for free.

yeah, 7.0 was a huge disappointment so far: - gearing is overly complicated with way too many currencies and the caps are aggravatingly low, the requirements too high - the story was waaay too short (and the flashpoint buggy as fuck for some) - no new explorable (aka Daily) area at launch - no new operation at launch - no moddable gear! all the fancy cartel market weapons = unusable because NO weapon outfitter at launch - communication/damage control is horrible it almost seems like BW wants it to fail and be shut down by EA but there are some positive things: - combat styles & loadouts (they work fine for me, so I am enjoying that feature immensely) - shared tagging and kind of a nice thing - albeit born out of necessity: I tried GSF for the first time ever (to make gearing a little more effective) and lo and behold, that is actually fun - though I still am not very good at it and being on the losing side kinda sucks  ... AND yesterday I saw saandrig in a match, was that you, on Darth Malgus? |
