Don't misunderstand what I said. I don't always run in and gather everything up to be a jerk to people. I only do that if I notice someone is trying to ninja the end objective from me while I do all the work. I am probably the most polite mmo player ever.....until someone makes mad

I've been trying to catch up all my characters (get all the chapters done and recruits recruited). I had quite a few that were behinder ( ) than I thought.

Btw... I finished the DvL event... except for the very last rank, cause that's just insane. I didn't even skip any content with my Shadow, I did the entire story and Makeb before doing the Revan and KotFE stuff.
My Juggernaut hit 65 in just under 24h played. I could have done it a lot faster if I had been in a guild and had access to the full Victorious Pioneer gear from the very start. And didn't waste time with outfits for me and Vette. And played less PvP. I did the story until I arrived on DK, then leveled through flashpoints (all non-story ones my Shadow wouldn't do). Finished on DK with lvl51, got two more pieces of VP gear, did Balmorra and left there with 58. Got the final 2 pieces of VP gear, bought grade 5 components for my star ship (and the energy converter) and did space battles for 2 hours, which brought me up to 63. Finished Nar Shaddaa with 64.8, did the intro GSF mission and boom. lvl65.

Got some good stuff in all the packs but in the end it really wasn't worth it. Especially since it doesn't count for collections properly and you can't sell most of it.

The Victorious Pioneer gear is insane. With all 7 pieces you get a permanent 50% exp bonus which stacks with all the others. For Space Battles that means I get 58k for finishing the mission, ~23k for each bonus mission completed and ~120/170k for each completed operation. Plus all the exp from the stuff I shoot at, which adds up over time. Basically, minimum 350k every 10min or so (each mission 5min, 2 missions in one op). Probably the fastest way to level solo.

The valor one is easy. Trust me, just do do some <lvl65 PvP once or twice and you have it. My Juggernaut is valor rank 17 or something and I only played maybe 6 matches in total.

Are Warzone commendations still transferable?


Also, who's down for some FPs/heroics/whatever tomorrow night? The usual suspects? Kaidan Fan saberchic jilinna?

Excellent. I need 900 comms on two 65 each for a lightsaber. The intro mission seems to give 400. How best to get the remainder? Keep doing intros with other characters or...?

I've never done PVP and probably won't get into it beyond getting the sabers and the valor 5 for DVL, thus I will be quite useless in matches and get owned.

First of all, do PvP below lvl65, because you'll get a bolster there that includes 1936 expertise, which is the same for everyone. Thus you are competetive and not a liability, no matter what kind of gear you wear (but wear something in each slot).

The intro mission gives 400, the dailies (4 matches, then 2 matches) give another 300 or 400. Weekly (15 matches) gives 900. You also get quite a bit just from participating, winning obviously gives more.

PvP is fairly easy, aside from the 4vs4 arenas it's all objective based. Just follow someone who has a clue and that'll be enough.

If you only have 65s, then things are a bit more complicated. At 65 you need 2018 expertise and you only get that through the 208 PvP gear with 2 crystals. If you enter with PvE gear, you will die a lot. In that case... do the intro mission on your 65s and just transfer the wz comms until you have enough. Won't be much fun though.

It turns out that lowbie PvP is insanely fun! I've had a great time shoving my level 12 babies into rounds as soon as they hit fleet. Having so few abilities helps me focus on the situation, as I'm still trying to get used to keybinding. I managed to break a million in heals on my level 15 sorcerer last week, which is freaking insane when you have no HoT.

Level 65 PvP I find very frustrating because it really exposes the fact that I'm just not good at combat. Even in full PvP gear I'm very rarely able to win a one-on-one, which means my willingness to guard objectives leads to bad things.

and BTW ... to reach lvl 65 with an Imp I started a female (pureblood) Sith (marauder) who is VERY DARK (need the dark alignment )

I gave up on my Maul (I didn't remember SOR was also a grind) and I went ahead doing a couple KOTFE chapters with my main Jedi Knight. 


After playing a couple of these, I kinda understand why people whine about it. Glad that I waited at the end of the year to get all of them... (don't care much about HK-55 chapter).

I want to keep on playing Chapter 12 but the connection kept dying on me since last night and even now. Pfft. Stupid American servers....

Yeah, I haven't even touched a KOTFE chapter since the original nine released. I've been back for about two months but I've just been redoing the class stories (and DvL). I'm treating it as a separate game and using my insta-60 as a brand new character. Speaking of, here she is:



I like the starter robes for her. Instantly informed part of her background. Alderaanian, associated with a minor house, often called on for diplomacy but a woman of action. She gets roped into all of this because the previous eight heroes of the galaxy have all disappeared, especially the knight, my main. It should've been him on Marr's ship but with him missing, she stepped up. She's not too pleased about that. She was under him at Corellia and other places after (part of the Jedi unit formed there) so there's a sense of abandonment.

And in other news I got my PVP lightsaber on one of my characters! Only took four warzones, got'em all done last night. I was mostly useless as expected but I did get a few kills in the later rounds. We even won the last one. This also got me the valor 5 for DvL. Just need to repeat that once more and I'll be good. Question for the weekly though: Does the sub 55 one still reward 900 comms and if so, how many matches does it need?

Still having steady one red bar today.... this is why I prefer playing the game as preferred... grrrr

And no, I've been around Harbinger when its at its heaviest, the current problem isn't normal and server pop is Light these days.

Doing achievements instead. Trying to get Fallen Knight title today. ok scratch that... disconnects every time I fight. This is why I hate online games. And no, it isn't my connection.
