no matter if Sith or Jedi - this Ballet-dance-move-BUG when you destroy something looks hilarious: Sith - and there is yet another bug: PINK bracers yes, I am a girl but that is too much (but I love those boots ): Broonmark's like "say, whaaat?" * Seriously, Lana knows Volky (whose intentions is suspect) is inside JK's head, listening and watching. Mighty uncomfortable to get too lovey dovey. Bro, I'm actively trying to bang Vaylin.

Sith - and there is yet another bug: PINK bracers yes, I am a girl but that is too much (but I love those boots ): The bracers for this specific armor (Zakuuan Silk) don't have a texture, so the game displays a placeholder instead. Shows up either bright pink or cyan. Simply replace the bracers in the outfit with some cheap ones off GTN. I think on my Sorc I used Ashara's bracers because they barely show.

Nice to see Senya being such a badass, she's one of my favorite characters in the game. Though it's patently obvious that she stands absolutely no chance against Vaylin unless she gets lucky or somehow outsmarts her, since Vaylin seems to have achieved her final form and is even more scary powerful than she already was as a kid. If that fight at the end of the trailer is a thing that actually happens in KOTET and there's no Outlander (or maybe Arcann) to help her, Senya will almost 100% certainly die.
I'm thinking the ultimate dark/light choice at the end will end up being something along the lines of helping Senya and a reformed Arcann reclaim the throne after which Zakuul withdraws from Empire and Republic space (light) or taking Vaylin out, killing both Senya and Arcann and letting, uh...I dunno, SCORPIO rule? A reincarnated Valkorion? Otherwise I'd say that claiming the throne for yourself should be on the table and makes sense for a dark side player, but assuming the game's story will then eventually continue beyond that, possibly being the Emperor/Empress of Zakuul would be a huge obstacle moving forward in terms of writing the story.

I hope they explain what happens in the trailer in the game because it doesn't make much sense compared to what Senya told us about her family.

Bro, I'm actively trying to bang Vaylin. Still want to bed Vaylin after that trailer? Killing is her ultimate enjoyment. So much for speculations on the char facing Senya in the teaser. Candidates were Malgus, Revan and Thaxian. Beginnings are such innocent times until fear and ambition turn it. Poor Senya, she tried her best to raise her kids right. What did Volkorion see in Vaylin's future? One of the wild cards deliberately steered to unleash chaos to balance the scales? I let Senya and Arcann leave on my sith warrior who completed S1 recently. I'm unlikely to do any different on the other toons. Love the SWTOR trailers. Honestly, I rather watch them than the prequels and even FA. Subsriber status? No problem here. I hope they have at least a special item for players who's with SWTOR right from the beginning.

This was pretty much in line with what Senya already told us. Still want to bed Vaylin after that trailer? Uh.... yeh. That trailer presented almost no new information. We already knew all of this. Why should it change my mind now? My inquisitor needs him some Vaylin lovin

More the opposite really. Senya told us that Vaylin was too powerful, so Valkorion locked away most of her power. What part of the trailer shows you a powerless Vaylin who only became strong again when Valkorion died in KotFE?
What about Senya trying to convince all her children to leave with her? How did that happen when Vaylin was in some hidden facility getting sick tattoos?
We also see Senya directly opposing Valkorion... which is different from her telling us she left because he didn't pay attention to her or the kids anymore. She served as a knight for years after her children choose their father over her, which means she didn't upset things too much when she left. Otherwise the knights and her family would declare her an enemy of the state.
Last scene shows a fully powered, dark side influenced Vaylin attacking Senya. 1. As already mentioned, Vaylin never had her full power for as long as Valkorion was alive and 2. that changes their fight in KotFE.
Even more puzzling is Senya's age. She looks fairly young in the trailer and about 20 years older in the game. Either that's artistic license or Vaylin and Arcann are almost 40 by now.
... and that's just the stuff that came to mind when I watched it once. I could probably find more details that don't fit into the existing narrative if I tried.

I could probably find more details that don't fit into the existing narrative if I tried. Nah but for serious now: -the ritual we see in the trailer could very well be that "locking away". Certainly we don't see Vaylin do anything over the top except as a child who mostly can't control it. -Vaylin was obviously segregated. Senya must've tried talking the twins into coming with her or perhaps even helping her bust their sister out. They refused so she went at it alone. -It's knights we see dragging her back into the shuttle at the end. And Volkarion might have banned her from the castle but not necessarily from the entire Eternal Empire. Anyway the gist of her story is the same- once she was happy with her children before she lost them to the dark side. The rest, well.. I agree about her looks in the trailer though, she does look a bit too young.

That still doesn't work out in the given timeline. Game says: Vaylin's power was locked away when she was a child and she only regained it when Valkorion died. Trailer shows: A battlefield filled with dozens of bodies, all killed by Vaylin who has her power back and has fallen to the dark side, long before Valkorion died, as Senya's age suggests. Everything up to Senya fleeing that facility with Vaylin in her arms fits into the existing narrative, the flight and fight in the rainy night... grey area. "Certain point of view" perhaps. Everything after 4:49 in the trailer makes no sense... unless it's just a dream. Senya's nightmare perhaps? That would explain everything, but it's cliché as hell. Only one question remains: Does Vaylin dye her hair now?

It's out!! This post has far more information on the subject than any gaming news site that I have seen online. While the trailer itself is very nice it is better suited as a lead in to the previous KOTFE expansion and really offers no insight to KOTET ( at least not for myself ) .

I'm interpreting that as the present. Or maybe the future. A vision? "Always in motion, the future is" Speaking of, here's my problem with the trailer- it barely felt like Star Wars. Other than the lightsabers, this could've been anything. I really wish they'd wrap up this Zakuul stuff. Not holding my breath though.

I hope it wrap up soon too as I don't care for any of the new characters. The story feels like BioWare's constant attempt at trying to redo their old stories again, this time it's Mass Effect 2. Take away the lightsabers, and you'd be forgiven for thinking you're playing Mass Effect with worse gameplay and even more cartoonisly irritating villain and same old jape about 'you being the commander' who can't delegate for shit, while also not being the actual protagonist of the story even though the game tells you that you are.
Valkorion is the only character I find remotely interesting, if nothing else because he appears to be BioWare's attempt st trying to build an antagonist on par with Kreia.

What felt like Star Wars to most of you? I thought TOR left all that to Lucas and Disney. Everyone has their own ideas what SW should be, how the chars should be going, etc. What's new? For me on swtor. It's all about the thing called the Force. The characters who interact with it. How it is used. How it is interpreted, its impact in the SW universe. I like the chars of the old fabric and in the new expansion of swtor. I'm curious / interested to know as to where Bioware is going with the Zakuul story and their angle on the Force. That's all it is to me. P.S. I saw a comment in a YT analysis of the trailer that this expansion will conclude Zakuul. Anyone else caught an official statement / confirmation? * Additional thought. Valkorion reminds me of Leto Atreides. Leto saw the plausible paths of the future and in one, he saw the path of salvation for the universe. That was why he chose to do what Paul rejected. Valkorion gave me that same impression. A long lived force user, emperor of two regions in the galaxy, leaving himself open like a tyro to a backstab? I think he saw his death / future in many visions. So he chose the one he thinks is best; for himself, for his ambition, whatever. He has to die under the Outlander's hand so he set it up to make it happen.
