I agree Babar Guy ! I love Senya. I'm eager to see the end of the story and for the wrap up, I'm curious as to what comes next. And if we get our stinking original companions back! I'm gonna keep complaining until hopefully someone at BioWare gives me an answer! *pouts in a corner 5ever waiting for Iresso."

I dunno about this game.
When I first started, I was a sith inquisitor. I was literally choosing every dark side option I could find. Kill people? Check. Kill master? Check. Kill friends? Check and double check.
Lately, they've been herding me down a path that I'm not comfortable with.

Check and double check. Lately, they've been herding me down a path that I'm not comfortable with. Totally understand this. My favourite characters to play are my lightside bounty hunter and smuggler, and my neutral-ish imperial agent. So luckily, KOTFE works fine in most of their cases, there's nothing really I feel railroaded into. (Apart from the fact the story is catered towards force users, but that's another argument). On the other hand, my sith inquisitor is 100% dark side, like yours. Basically a no-holds-barred, be as evil as you can kind of playthrough. And that's when KOTFE starts to fall apart a bit. I don't know why Theron is still around and hasn't walked out. I was railroaded into helping Jorgan, which every other character was happy to do but not my inquisitor, yet she was still forced into it. And of course, the final choice makes no difference. As I said, since I normally play light side it doesn't bother me as much as it bothers others, but I totally understand why players who enjoy dark side characters would be very disappointed.

What annoys me a little is that I can't side with the Emperor on Ziost, even when I'm his Wrath. Or on the Dark Council.
But then again... the Emperor you interact with on Ziost seems to have a completely different personality than Valkorion. Plus all the other stuff about the Voice, the Children etc don't exactly add up. I'm curious how they'll resolve this.
Btw... about Vaylin and the new trailer... things don't add up there either. Senya said Vaylin was so strong in the force that she already affected her environment (I think it was about crushing droids?) when she was still in the womb. Vaylin was mostly depowered for her entire life until Valkorion died... which is not what the trailer showed us.

Vaylin made furniture move while still in the womb, tore droids apart as a child, and crippled a servant who dropped something of hers. That's when Valkorian did something to dampen her power. Though I don't think it is said exactly when she was released.

I am wondering if it will be worth my while to pick a sub for a month around Christmas and catch up on the story. I gave up on it after the first KOFTE spell, because I got so bored with it. The last thing I really liked in SWTOR was Rishi and Ravagers Op. I hoped they would develop something like Rishi but apparently it was just a way to say good-buy and move on.

My ds characters are evil, not stupid.

I find a lot of SWTOR stories became interesting when I play with a set purpose rather than purely aligned to LS or DS, and sometimes it open up dialogues and scenes. For my main Wrath, she started out as neutral before she went dark as Baras's apprentice (I love Tatooine arc where you get to kill the light side in you) then she faced a crisis of faith where she can't seem to trust people around her, she went on a brief revenge path before slowly finding her sense of purpose; the Empire and its people (surprisingly LS) and she became somewhat centered. She's also deeply suspicious of the Hand and didn't care much about the politics of Dark Council and pretty much busy being the Empire's Wrath. She remembered Vitiate promise to kill her (she find pleasure at doing exact opposite of what he wanted from her) and she could fully never trust Valkorian and only use his powers out of desperation but she won't self-sabotage herself or ignore her code (being honorable surprised some Jedi too). She's somewhat a necessary evil creature, not self-righteous, cruel, ruthless but calculating and at times, filled with empathy. She always try to think one step ahead of her enemy and people respected her for it and through that she inspired loyalty. I'm particularly excited by some of the stuff I found in datamined 5.0 Arcann being a companion and was allowed courting gifts. Crossing fingers for Wrath/Arcann, I want this to happen badly. I ship them ridiculously and Erik Dellums (Arcann VA) was well aware of this, lol. All sexual tension must not be wasted. As it so happen, there's no force sensitive male LI in SWTOR (except of the one in Inquisitor's Alderaan's plot) Valid reason to dump Quinn forever.
In a way, KOTFE became fun when its really about a man's obsessive love to a woman and how he was desperate to free her from his father who was using her to spite him. I did chapter 1-9 on my DvL Hatred Assassin. Playing him purely as a DS Sith blinded by power and he does make Valkorion happy. I was surprised that Lana pop up to save him from Arcann but Koth hated him completely. Poor thing. He like my Wrath better. Trying to do hidden achievements for some of alliance alert characters. Rejected Xalek, although I miss him now. Was surprised that I couldn't reject Talos, so I just pick him up. Got Khem back via Terminal. Did Eternal Championship with two other girls in my guild. Still need to solo EC before 5.0; raise Lana to rank 50, rip 220 mods from my mains.

My wrath is unattached too and I'm definitely not looking forward to Quinn's return. I'm thinking this is one toon that is going to be single but if what you found is true, it's worth considering. P.S. I watched a few YT reactions to the new trailer. Some of them have zero idea what the story is all about so their speculations is soo off target I have to roll my eyes.

He gave her a sweet letter though. I really like Quinn actually. Whenever he says "My lord" its like he's saying "As you wish" (Princess Bride!!!). They're cute together, his deal with that crazy Moff is still the funniest thing among all companion class story... they got married before the whole Baras thing and it really broke Lady Wrath's heart. I've been enjoying Lana's romance although somewhat disappointed that it's another cutesy thing. But it was funny that Koth hovered when they're having a moment in gravestone.

Most of the LI letters are almost the same. I've a thought about the plausible new LI though; seriously, he can put aside his quarrel with you-know-who? What kind of magic was performed on him if it's so? I caught Kaidan Fan earlier and linked up all my toons with her group.

If any of the rest of you want to join up just give a shout out. I'm pretty excited for the new stuff, I spoiled myself and read all the stuff and most of it is pretty cool. My only worry is when will the rest of our original companions return and I am so focused on that sometimes I get myself really worked up over it But honestly, my IA misses Vector so much. I am so far behind on her because not having him with her just makes playing her very sad for me.

New locations of KotET
P.S. I know where all the low level relics went to. They're now part of the heroic mission rewards.

I really liked playing KotET with my Jedi Battlemaster (JK- my main character). The story made so much sense with him. Also liked the cutscenes, the lightsaber and space battle scenes are a lot better than previous expansions and original game. Really liked the agressive choice my Knight had during the last fight against Arcann. By the way, did you guys spare him and Senya or eliminate both? I choose to let them go, hope that doesn't bit me in the ass later Damn there are so many things i enjoyed in this expansion: like the duo Between Satele and Darth Marr, or the connection they made between Exar Kun and the Sith Emperor or how lots of old companions followed their own lives. All that being said i REALLY am not looking forward to play KotET with the smuggler or any other non force user class. The JK was good because his whole story revolves around fighting the Emperor, the other force users not so much but they have some minor connections to the emperor however i feel that this story expansion wasn't made with the smuggler/soldier/agent/bounty hunter in mind.

Arcann and Senya will get away, irregardless of the decision. If they're allowed to leave, I suppose their interactions with the Outlander will be friendly. I let them go on my Wrath, the first toon to complete KotFE.
That is correct, the non force users don't fit in the expansions. I guess Bioware was in a hurry to push out the expansion and decided they could just shove them into the shirt as well. It's lazy imo. If they can spend the millions on those trailers, why can't they create alternative pathways for the non force users in the expansion?
They could still join Marr in the beginning but were captured by Zakuul forces. They could be sentenced to imprisonment or sent to work (in chains). Lana would come along and rescue them. She would tell them of the Outlander and speak of the forces they're going to build. The non-force user would then work with the military / smuggler / science to help the Outlander in the effort.
Bioware could even borrow from Divinity; where you control the two protags, in cutscenes if they meet.

Yes that would be nice. Certainly much more credible than a smuggler unifying both sides of the Force from Satele/Marr training and then defeating the Emperor Arcann. Not that the smuggler story was ever any good, since the start it was pretty much trash but some like the agent had some really nice main quests and they deserved a more fitting arc in this expansion.
ps: i had a very KOTOR feeling when playing KotFE, and not just because of old style cutscenes during recruitment missions.

Except, Nathema's already be destroyed as much as it can be short of a Death Star blast. Lore-wise it's supposed to be completely inhospitable to organics, who feel the wrongness of the absence of the Force there. But sure, Vaylin and some crazy monks lived there for years. To strengthen her. Or something.
Otherwise the issue with destroying the core game planet is the same now that it was last year. People still play the core game so you can't change those outright. So it's either instances for specific things (like the SOR prelude FPs) or a Ziost situation- which kinda sucks if you do want to go back to core planets and do heroics or whatever.

Happened the same in Nathema as Ziost right (did not read Revan's book)? I don't see why they could not live there, it's not like there wasn't some other inhospitable places on the SW universe where there was people. Also about the origin worlds i get the feeling that Dark vs. Light simbol that new created characters bear is the start of those changes. But if probably wont be something major because of the sidequests and main quest in those worlds.

But if probably wont be something major because of the sidequests and main quest in those worlds. I don't think so. Nathema is explicitly said to be "stripped of the Force". That would mean Force users could not use the Force on its surface (and indeed would be most affected by even being there). The Exile certainly is, in the Revan novel. Ziost on the other hand has Force-users roaming freely (and attributing that to mere Gameplay and Story Segregation would be lame), and we know from other EU works down the line that Ziost does get repopulated. The rituals were also enacted differently in a way that can't just be attributed to the Emperor's power levels and there were no Monoliths on Nathema.
