Well, maybe now. Back when I played, the ranked guys were terrible, but the regs were fine. PvP crowd actually taught me to play, so I have a soft spot for them, and will forever love them scoundrels. I found the raiders overall to be less friendly. Though my mentor was PvE first, PvP second, but he did drag me into PvE in the end. Pvp overall has the potential to provide the most interesting play when it's good and fairily even and you play with someone you know in MMO sense of the word, i.e his style, how he plays each class. I did eventually find PvE guild that was wonderful as well, but PvP guys, gods, that's the most passionate about their char crowd I have ever seen, and very willing to teach. Eh, I don't raid either. I gave that up when I left WoW because I was burned out. I'm a dirty, casual, PvE, story player who does occasional FP and uprisings with friends. I've played SWtOR from early release or whatever it was called and never liked the PvP. I'm sure there are some nice folks...somewhere, and I'll leave it at that.  That's how I feel now. SWTOR was my first MMO, and the first time I got to see how other people play games. So for a couple of years it was very interesting for me to learn. I did exactly what the guys told me, level each class through pvp, and learn each of them as best I could. Also, well, I was paying for the game monthly, so I felt that I wanted to experience everything it had to offer  But it was challenging, took a lot of time, and draining to keep both the muscle memory and all the info/details in mind. Plus, at some point I could see I won't get any better, and my best is not high enough to spend that much efforts to maintain it. So, yeah, I'd rather play SP on my own right now. But, it definitely improved my experiences in SP, gave me some equipment for my rig, and I met folks I liked playing with, who told me a lot about the gaming and MMOs. Like I said, good experiences, good memories and vibes to them scoundrels, no matter where they are now. |

Thought there was a preference there, not a requirement. I'm good with anything. Love the "flying weed-whackers from hell" AOE on the Scoundrel though  |

I've yet to get even one stronghold to 100% but I have wanted a Manaan base since the first time I ran Shadow of Revan. I'm almost embarrassed how excited I am for this. Now I'm going to have to come up with a whole new decorating scheme.

I have the Coruscant, Nar Shaddaa and Dromund Kaas strongholds but only Coruscant is at 100%. I'm tempted to get the Manaan one as well. But I'm still on the fence. I'd like to see the inside of it first I think. It's much smaller than I expected. There are a bunch of centerpiece hooks, one starship hook. It almost looks like at some point they may go back and add more rooms...at least I hope so. There is no 'bedroom' type of room anywhere in the SH as it is currently. It's pretty cheap to unlock though, and the underwater rooms are neat. I am having a heck of a time decorating mine so far though, the hook sizes aren't what/where I want them to be.  |

Yeah that's one of the things I'm having trouble with also. I stuck a mailbox right next to the exit console, but I don't know where I am going to put the GTN kiosk or banks or anything. I just said "eff it" and put it in the room that I wanted it in. It's a little far compared to some of my other Strongholds, but I like how it turned out well enough to stick to it. Bartender's a placeholder for when/if we ever get more Felusia Stato vendors to use. Although the NPCs have lead me to discover one additional beef: the cap on placeable companions is way too low for this one. That initial fountain leadup is just begging for a big lineup of like every companion ever to greet you as you enter, but the cap is 30, minus any vendors and such that are in place. If they'd even just raise that to 50 (which I think is the number for the others) I'd be happy. |

Thanks for the pics Lazarillo! I will probably get the SH eventually. When I go back to playing more regularly. With little to no story updates and companions not being returned I haven't been playing  Hope after they get done with the op and that AWFUL Iokath b.s they will go back to story. |

Now I'm going to have to come up with a whole new decorating scheme. I feel you! When strongholds first came out I was hoping for Manaan & Hoth... (Who would want to live on Hoth, I know? But I just love this planet for some reason, just like I love Tatooine... I seem to have a thing for vast, empty expanses :lmfao: ) Problem is, I am poor as a church mouse. I basically only pvp, I hardly ever pve, and I don't craft. I have a bit of money, don't get me wrong, but I usually spend it on armour & weapons and the like. Gotta look dapper while you're bashing the other faction's heads in, right?  I do have two strongholds maxed out, at least, DK and Tatooine, so I have that going for me! |

Luckily, I love crafting so I have plenty of cash. I'm...not thrilled with the hook layout but that holds true for all of the strongholds to one extent or another. I'm going to have to spend some serious time crafting and selling to get the decorations I want, though. Prices are through the roof!

Ya, the hook layouts have annoyed me in pretty much every one of my strongholds so far. I find the walls to be particularly annoying. And yes, all but the most basic decorations are obscenely pricey, meaning I have trouble affording anything worthwhile. I think I did the best out of the little I have, though... I like my spartan abode! (My poor pve-friends have so many decorations they don't know what to do with them, so their strongholds tend to look more like crowded museums than anything else ) |

I'm having issues with referrals so I ended up subbing for real using Origin KOTET Bundle for the extra CCs. Satisfied that I actually exceeded my credit goal this time. Who says I can't grind effectively.
I didn't realize I've already bought Nar Shadda's Stronghold until the update allow you to toggle all your SH panel. I've also bought and fully unlock the Manaan SH and agreed about how tiny it is.. oh well I'm fine with it.
I'm looking forward for tomorrow's reset for the Double Command XP week. For what is it worth, I'm glad the Galactic Command isn't as punishing as it used to be at the start of 5.0 (which I'd describe trying to raise CP ranks as pay to grind while vomiting blood). Currently I'm focusing on getting my main Marauder to reach rank 300 so I could unlock the Legacy wide CP perks for my alts.
