I'm looking forward for tomorrow's reset for the Double Command XP week. For what is it worth, I'm glad the Galactic Command isn't as punishing as it used to be at the start of 5.0 (which I'd describe trying to raise CP ranks as pay to grind while vomiting blood). Currently I'm focusing on getting my main Marauder to reach rank 300 so I could unlock the Legacy wide CP perks for my alts. Yay marauder!  Galactic Command is the worst. Honestly, after making the game so alt-friendly, they went and destroyed it all with one update. From a pure pvp perspective: lowbie and midbie brackets are pretty much dead, and 70s is still a ranged & healfest, even after the nerf to sorc heals & merc/sniper (who need a utility nerf more than anything). 70s have become so mind-numbingly boring that I find it hard to muster the will to even play in that bracket anymore.  What are your favourite strongholds, btw? I think mine is still tatooine. Nar Shaddaa is probably my least favourite. |

The last class changes definitely mess with melee DPS again, felt like 3.0 all over. My Mara on full gear simply pull more aggro but do less damage and yet my Sorc without any gear simply one-kills things.
It was really frustrating before. I spend endless weeks on the game and barely raise several ranks because I don't do Ops or PVP. At least now I could just play regular heroics and weeklies without feeling like I waste my time killing hundreds mobs everyday for just some credits. And I really like how the bonus also give you the same cp output and champions is 55cxp now. I like that now I get from 50s to 92 rank in just couple of days of planetary missions.
My favourite is Yavin 4, since I really like the way it is. But I hardly decorate my strongholds except as ports in capital worlds for my Republic/Imp toons. I'm gonna to dress up the first room of Nar Shadda for my Bounty Hunter toons as their headquarters.

Double CP week ended.... whole week grinding on Hammer Station Veteran/Master flashpoint, planetary missions, some ops.. just so I could get my main to reach rank 300 and unlock the 25% legacy CP bonus ![=]](//storage.proboards.com/6576594/images/yNrAXjkTcPPBLrsOOiCC.png) One more month to 5.4, new story, new stronghold. I don't think I'll miss the Nightlife event. Hours of pointless clicking and credit sink and battling RNGs. Also its Tulak Hord armor direct sale week. |

Did you guys see Casey Hudsons tweet about visiting BioWare Austin? In a spoiler because ....it might be one? link is this the "betrayer" Tyth spoke of? Is he coming back?? My main is somewhere in the teens, so don't feel bad. I just have zero interest in any of the GC nonsense. All I do when I log in anymore is GTN stuff - and then I log right back off. |

Nah, there's a Malgus statue at Bioware Austin and everyone take pictures of it. I have too many alts so I do need the legacy boost to make quality of life easier (now I just disintegrate all Tier 1 stuff). But I don't grind too long on GC since I only sub when there's new story content (my sub will last until early september) and I'm narrowly reaching 3000 command token, so far I know can rest easy with 230 gearing for some other classes. Hopefully, they don't increase another gear rating after this. RNG is already brutal. |

i dunno but i'm hyped, i have 35€ free to expend i think i have to return soon, tho i dunno what class i should go and i have my smuggler and jedi knight incomplete as far as story goes xD. my biggest issue it's i'm a story completionist and i try to do all story quests related and even the mini story quests from the operations cause it's reflected in some dialogue after in one way or another, so the problem is i end stucked and well i lose myself.

I'm playing it at least one more time (and Frapsing the cutscenes so I never have to again). Otherwise I still enjoy healing the odd flashpoint or two.
I sort of started doing my own videos with that in. Just simple cutscenes. Although I started getting these ideas and then started editing them. Then as I got better they became more and more elaborate. It became a bit of a hobby.

I just started on the Inquisitor on Dromund Kaas. If you like the Inquisitor and Warrior you'll love what I did with Korriban. I saved it for last because it's the best starter world story imo and I wanted my skills up before I tackled it. Ord Mantell was my least favorite so I did it first. Korriban is a masterpiece. Hutta turned out pretty damn good too. Tython is much better than Ord Mantell, but I think it still pales in comparison to what I did with the Empire starter worlds. There was a learning curve so they get progressively better and better quality wise.
If you ever have a chance to view them I'd like to know what you think about Ord Mantell. It's not as fancy as those sample clips, but it still has a special place because it was my first time editing.

Hi folks, I was wondering... I dropped off the sub sometime in the spring of 2016, and I had a character that went into chapters that had some new Emeror guy and a bunch of new NPCs. I think the last thing I remember was being stuck in a swamp, with a fleet looking like a grid or something to defeat. The level was 65.
So, if I pay for the sub now, is there any promotion that will give me all the story released in the last tyear and a half, and will I get some junk gear easily enough to run through all the SP stuff with one character? I don't want to get into the MP side of things this time or gear up seriously.
Any advice on it?

Pretty sure access to all of the chapters comes with the sub, so if you want to finish the story it would be a good idea to sub for a month, at least. Greens/blues drop like candy at a parade (and comps are pretty OP), so gear shouldn't be an issue. |

So I just recently started playing the free version of the game, and I was wondering how Exactly I unlock new races. According to the race selection screen, certain races are only available to certain classes... but after going through every class in the selection screens, my only choices are human, cyborg, and zabrak.
While scrolling over any of the locked races, it says something about completing a race's origin world....
I realize I can receive all the races through the Cartel Market, but I would rather gain the races without using actual money -- regardless of how much more difficult it may be to do so.
Thanks and sorry if the answer is plastered all over online (and I just couldn't find one that actually made sense to me).

Races are locked by default to free players. Subscribers get a wider range of default races for each class. Getting a character of one race to level 50 then unlocks that race for all classes. So, for example, only Knights, Consulars, Smugglers, and Inquisitors can be Twi'leks. But if you are subscribed, you can make a Twi'lek Knight, get that character to 50, and then make a Twi'lek of any class on that same server. You can also pay real money to unlock a specific race, or buy the unlock on the GTN. Doing so automatically unlocks the race for all classes.
Cathar and Togruta are exceptions. They can only be unlocked through RMT or buying the unlock from other players on the GTN. However, that unlock will apply to your whole account, not just one server.
