Okay, I did not know that.

But at least there is a solo path to facing Revan.  Unlike, say the Dread Masters, or the gods of Iokath.

No, literally the same, as in you have to do the solo fight after the Operation.

The operation was never meant to replace the final fight, just what you do to get to it.


In any case, making Revan an OP boss is wank, even if they pulled another Oricon and that was the only option. It's nigh impossible to justify why any one humanoid has millions of HP and can hold off 8-16 instances of the galaxy's greatest warriors at bay and without instantly wiping the floor with them. Pretty sure EU Palpatine or Luke couldn't do that unless they evoked some Force-Black-Hole shenanigans in which case it still wouldn't be a protracted fight, it'd just be insta-smiting. I think at best story-friendly raid "bosses" would be giant creatures or droids, and instead of just wailing on them with a lightsaber, the fight would be super mechanics/puzzle heavy, possibly Shadow of the Colossus style. Or groups of individuals, like the Dread Masters final fight. Their whole schtick was supposed to be merging their craziness together to achieve what they did so that made more sense. Fighting each individually and having it go on so long? Not as much.

Except Brontes. Her voice can do anything she wants.

Iresso, Mako, and Akaavi if I heard right.

I wouldn't count on any old companions having interesting stories anymore.  At this point only T7, Gault, and Raina are guaranteed to be alive and recruited.  Why waste resources on characters who might or might not be around?

My guess is next expansion everyone's getting some new companions to hang out with.

Let just say, SWTOR is more alive than MEA.... *snorts*.

KOTOR and KOTOR2 are both great storytelling-wise. But combat-wise is such a drag.... I never miss turned based RNG fights. And there's like very minimal customization available even with mods on steam.

I always go back to SWTOR for my pretties...

That's why I stopped playing both.  I was enjoying the story but combat was such a slog I just couldn't keep playing Hope you're still enjoying Arcann!

I knew you were really hoping for this romance so I'm glad that it happened and that you enjoy it!

I'll be glad when they go back to not picking which companion we bring with us on missions.  At least, I hope that's what we return to.  I miss it.

So, I don't know if you guys remembered but in Chapter 2 of KotFE my main character (Consular) didn't have her romance acknowledged and she never received a letter from Iresso. It was eventually fixed but they never said if it would be retroactive. So I spent nearly 3 years worrying that when Felix returned he would have forgotten that he had a relationship with Nayelii. Therefore pretty much ruining her story I started when the game first released.

Well, he returned and good news, he still loved her! I know a lot of people don't like the Consular story and many find Iresso boring. But *I* love the Consular story and I also truly like and enjoy Iresso. I wish the return had been longer, as they're all too short these days, but I'll take what I can get.

You're right aoibhealfae, response has seemed mostly postive and that makes me pretty happy. I hope that the game continues to go in the right direction.

And as someone who recently returned to WoW to give it another shot, I hope they copy absolutely NOTHING from that game going forward. UGH.
