I m sure the glitch is far more profitable if you warp first. It does even look like it doesnt work if you warp after. (at least with the executioner i hve been cheesing with lately.) I'd say if you warp after shooting you'll cause a fire explosion which will stop the unholy interaction of DoT ticks from IA with DoT from Warp. For most cheesiness cast Warp first and shoot with IA, preferably with high ROF so IA can stack with itself and Warp (sumthin sumthin Valkyrie+Reegar).

Very well understood indeed. So for the banshee barrier, it shouldnt be a huge deal, but it s easier to always spam the power first. I never really noticed the FE stopped the glitch, but i thought it stops the IA dot in certain condition? Paging Tyhw ....
yes, if you set off a FE without IA Dot running, u r f**** for further IA DOT until the FE DoT (which is 0) stops 3s later. Whatever, it s explained here.
Your point is more important  edit : but i cant find trace of DoT (warp or IAmmo) vanishing after the FE as long as the FE is set by IA

Firebase Giant, Reapers Gold. N7 Paladin Sentinel with Crusader. Wave 9, flawless. They really hadn't touched me the entire match. I run down the stairs from the top of the control room to the center plaza and get staggered by Banshee who somehow was ready to melee me immediately as she landed. This led to a Marauder gibbing my shields, and a Ravager blasted me from flawless. I collected my wits, took a moment, and gelled. The Banshee was ready. God damnit. Edit: arggggh, I finished this one. It is simultaneously my best and worst solo. Many exciting moments of stellar gameplay, followed by half-wittery only capable by a scrub on my level D: 48:00, 50 Melee Kills, 5 grabs, 2 out of 3 challenges in the N1 series. I started the last device on Wave 10 with 00:16 left on the timer  |

Wut happnd? Had a flawless Gold N3.2 going, Firebase Goddess Gold against Reapers with Salarian Engineer with Venom and Scorpion. This is now actually the easiest solo thus far in the series, once I actually finish it. Wave 7, got happy and went down. No big deal. Decided to be a Richard and get two easy Wave 8 killstreaks. What the hell, I had six rockets? Wave 9, killing things well, get downed again, get mad and use all my rockets. Wave 10, Targets, mission failed @ 29:25 with zero targets killed |

Now, doing the N7 Challenge Series, I get to enjoy that *excitement* all over again. :/ C'mon,it's just gold. Yes, it is :rage: Soloing is actually a stamina issue for me. The questions on Jade for me in N3.3 on Gold are - can I stop getting myself into stupid positions on Wave 8 that waste consumables? Then, can I remain calm and survive wave 9 without wasting rockets or gels? When I have answered those questions in the positive, I have been rewarded with devices on Wave 10. Doesn't matter how much I practice, that is going to kill me on Jade 9/10 times even on Gold. I do find it less likely that I will complete the series... This sort of frustration almost made me quit playing altogether the last time I got serious about soloing. That was before I knew about modding objectives. Reality check - I'm a great pug, just an average player. :| |

For example i failed from the shadow of the villa(legendary diificult) in a very disapointing way.This challenge is from weekly themed solos 1.Shadow with an eagle vs Ripaz on Rio.Had a very nice run up to 8 wave,then i scrubbed and lost all my gels.Managed to clear 9 wave without troubles and guess what?Yes,10 wave devices.Started to do them,i kitted,i ran,i hid etc. and voal did all of them.The clean up wasn't much of a problem.I told myself,i did it,i did,because what could possibly go wrong on 11 wave?The wave started and i managed to survive long enough.Started to run towards the EZ.I was with 10% bonus speed.The clock-30 sec,then a damn drone staggered me and the phantrolls killed me with that damn blaster.22 sec to the extraction,Mashed "E" like a crazy(i run with E not with a space),but failed with 2 sec to go after 70 min of gameplay.It was just an example.I have at least 10-15 fails like this one and as you can see i am still a soloer. |

Yesterday I can honestly say I played excellent Mass Effect. I played one game. I survived 7 waves using one ops pack, to get stabbed Wave 8. I had 20 HS before end of Wave 1, and my aim was almost like yours for most of the match. ... I will finish this solo, no doubts - I have finished wave 10 objective twice including devices, only to succomb to lack of gel. The Justicar plat solo - that one is easier than 3.3. Made a dumb mistake on Wave 10 or it would have been my best Plat solo, only a little slower than my 33min glacier. I may go Wraith, now that I think about it. I still hate the Acolyte  |

i don't even know how you guys solo Plat.
I managed another Gold tonight with the Drelldept which i had never done before. CMSG with AP ammo .
I also normally use an Adrenaline mod but i put on a cyclonic this time . Did it really help i dunno, i still finished with 4 gels left ... and zero missiles since i got targets on wave 10.
Devices on wave 6 got dicey at some point ( a static drell dies so fast ) and i had to nuke the area clean .

Cyclonic on a drell character is pointless.Use power amps or adrenaline module.On an open maps AM and on closed use PAM.Also,soloing is something very different.Some people around here love to solo(me and some other guys and gals),but most of the players don't like it.If it steals your fun,just don't do it,'cuz the games are for fun.When the game was released back in 2012 i was just like you, thought that i will never handle plat difficult even in a team game. |

For instance, I know I will complete more Platinum solos in the future, because I have been training for it. That said, I would never do the N7 series on Platinum - I cannot stomach that much practice. |
