I think they actually upgraded her appearance compared to that image. well she looks much more feminine with proper hair in this pic, especially compared to the final game version I'll take the bait. A woman's femininity is not defined by her hairstyle, it is a matter of personal taste. For practical reasons, I would think short haircuts would better suit a military occupation, especially when ' in the field ' wearing helmets.

The military occupation thing isn't really that true though because final release Cora still has that huge-ass swath of hair covering half her forehead/dipping to her eye-line.
I've only ever seen a hairstyle like Cora has in the game on activist-type women IRL and Cora being military would never be part of that scene, so it really makes zero sense when you think about it.

With regards her hair they may have changed it because of clipping issues because of the hair physics as for the rest of her I don't know. I do agree that s he does look prettier here but the Cora we got isn't that bad. At least she's no worse than anything we got in say DAI looks wise.
