If any bioware employees are active on this site since the official ME MP forums seem to not be available, i'll post here for relevance over bugs i've seen in the ME3 MP thats been driving me nuts.
If any of this can be forwarded to said employees to be fixed that'd be great, although i wont hold my breathe.
If there is already a section for bugs that i didnt see, then im sorry for posting. Im sorry if these are already known, but its good to get it out.
Known bugs i've encountered so far on ME3 MP thats been driving me crazy. (I was a PS3 player since me3 came out, i've been a PC player this year so far)
(I know for a fact these are bugs, not the game being interfered with, like a AV on, or from mod use (i dont use mods), or bad ports, or low int connection speed (mines 40 MB DL), or even from the origin in game overlay being on, i cant think of anything else)
-Vanguard biotic charge glitch.
Sometimes when im a vanguard and i charge near a banshee to get shields, MID flight of the charge, not landing on the banshee, i get grabbed and the charge is canceled out. THIS drives me nuts some times. In game it even says you're invulnerable during the charge. This isnt being grabbed after the impact of the charge, this is while the charge itself is happening, ive been grabbed before, i've even been stabbed by phantoms while this has happened.
-Medi-Gel glitch
Sometimes when i try to use medigel to instantly get up, if i press my 7 key to use medigel and accidently click down my 8 key for ammo as well at the same moment, the game just straight up crashes, no warning, instant back to desktop and drop from the server, this just happened to me today. I have no idea why this happens. This is a ridiculous one, sometimes if i just try to use medigel it has crashed before.
-N7-Destroyer grenade glitch
Sometimes when i fire frag grenades after firing a round of grenades while playing the N7-Destroyer, the next batch never gets deployed, the power is still useable and the moment i need to clear or stun some cannibals or marauders or something, i cant and spam click to use the power and the next second im downed. I even click the power once and the grenades still dont fire, alebit from not spamming my key.
-Turian soldier marksman glitch
Sometimes when i use the marksman skill and im firing the power doesn't increase the rate of fire instantly on the gun, like the m8-avenger, i have to stop firing, then fire again to get the increase, this is crazy because if i need the ROF increase immediately, stopping to fire and fire again can get a little annoying, although not as bad as the other ones.
-Banshee Grab glitch
There was a moment last night as i was playing on thessia that a banshee grabbed me in front of the ammo supply below the stairwell, she was about 5 feet away from it, adjacent to the stairs below the door way, i was running toward it to in the middle section parallel to the desk on the left running toward the ammo and juke past. All of a sudden the banshee grabs me and i was about 5 feet away from it, i was no where near grab range. Its biotic shield thing was spinning and in a different spot, which means she was there but somehow close enough to grab me while i was out of range.
-Hydra missile glitch
Last night as i was playing with some people, i fired a hydra missile at a marauder during eliminate the target round. I fired the missile at its feet about 4 seconds after it spawned, it stood there and looked at me, moved an inch and i fired, but it didnt die, had full shields and hp. I was shocked, i wasted a missile and then me and another ran up to it and killed it.
-Alt-Tab issues
I've noticed this game has terrible alt-tab issues, i am not relating this games alt-tab issues to any other, thats not the purpose, i am just saying that me3, while in MP, can sometimes crash while trying to go back into the game after a successful alt-tab. This really isnt good, it should get optimized. I've had to go into task manager a few times to kill the task just to exit the game, because of alt tabing, or even hitting the windows key by accident, ( my board has a feature to shut off that key, i get it) Even while i had the origin in game overlay off, and alt tabbed, that helped a little but the game can still freeze.
-Running audio glitch / firing gun glitch
Sometimes when firing certain guns like the ADAS or running and the game begins a new round, the running noise will loop forever, i've even heard it in a lobby once, and sometimes a guns firing noise will loop during a match as well. Going back to the main menu gets arid of this, yet i think this is a big issue.
-Clipping oddity
On thessia (yea, my favorite map) Sometimes when im near the stair railing close to the ammo supply at the end of the stairs, i either used marksman on my turian or a mix of the round ending, i magically floated in the air and on the railing, it was a weird clipping, i've never been able to get on the railing before, i was even able to walk on the railing too. Not big of a deal, i just noticed it.
-Another clipping oddity
Sometimes behind a thick cover, a brute is able to use its charge strike and is able to hit my character as im behind cover, this happens behind some cover like crates or small walls that you can jump over, but i've also been struck on the other side of a wall with it on the other side. I figured since its melee, that it cant hit me, compared to a range, which would make sense.
(I'll continue to update this with any other oddity i come across.)
