That was for Thane you sob. Hmmm. Had the drell shot the pony tail when he had the chance or not played chicken, he might still be alive.

Yea and if Saren had just used remove controlled explosives rather then timed he could have accessed the Beacon and blown up the location ending the Mass Effect series before the start.

I usually don't push the merc out the window. I much prefer to push him up against the window hard enough to crack the glass and have confidence that he's sufficiently intimidated to not try something dumb like not leaving and following Shepard instead. The "How about goodbye" doesn't amuse me as much as it does others and I like hearing Garrus' compliment when you don't push him right out the window. I reason that Shepard's goal is to still try to get him to talk and killing him outright just doesn't serve that purpose. Shooting out the glass and dangling him (a la Ryder) would have been a better move (IMHO). I always thought Bioware should have made the decision to spare him relevant by having him email Shepard with some crucial information, either later in ME2 or sometime in ME3. I’ve always pushed him out the window so I was unaware of this option. Interesting. Though my concern was always not just he can now flank you later but also how do you stop him communicating with others. If they had a knock the fuck out mechanic or medi gel used to tranq people I’d be more comfortable letting him go. My Shepard figures the merc is smart if he runs and dead if he doesn't. That is, my Shepard is a pretty confident guy in his abilities. If the merc does try to double back and attack the team, he'll just shoot him then.

The one I always take that nobody mentioned...
You talk too much.
Toasting the speaker for Clan Weyrlock.
Otherwise, I also basically always take You're working too hard like OP and others.
I am also one that likes to push the merc in Dantius towers against the glass with it cracking.
With anything else, it depends.
ME1 - I have a hard time not trying to min-max this game, so often I invest in Intimidate just because the max intimidate check I will face is lower than the max charm. For flat out renegade responses, I like the one after saving the Rachni queen where you sarcastically predict how long it will take for that decision to bite you in the ass after the Turian councilor worries about it.
ME2 - mentioned my favorites above. I also like scaring the wounded merc at the beginning of Warlord. "If you hurry, maybe you can find a shady spot before you bleed out." Then Miri says "The scare was a nice touch," and Shep replies "I thought so."
ME3 - Drawing a blank here honestly. I don't think there is much I always do one way or the other.

I have a very hard time playing as a renegade but even when I go full on "ruthless" and even kill the people of feros I can NEVER kill the rachni queen. Just can't do it. I actually planned to do it and skip past the scene where she dies but I just couldn't bring myself to do it

Mainly because they don’t give you the logical 3rd choice. Hey council, you make a decision already.

These are paraphrases but when first talking to Ash I ask why she abandoned her squad.
When she questions me about it on the Normandy I always tell her if she wants me to treat her better she needs to stop sucking.

Always head-butt Uvenk
Always burn the Weyrloc dude
Always shoot the mech in Overlord
Always shoot the model ship in Citadel
Almost always punch Han'Gerrel (I think I haven't maybe twice? It takes a lot of self control to not punch him. )
Edit: Always stab Kai Leng. That shouldn't even be an interrupt - it should just happen automatically.

Always shoot the mech in Overlord Always shoot the model ship in Citadel I'm sure I'm just blanking here, but I don't specifically recall these things or how they might count as Renegade options. As for the rest, I make the same choices.

They are both renegade interrupts. Isn't that what we're talking about? I don't remember the events. The mech is when you are turning off one of the outside defenses. You enter the room it’s trying to disable it so you can’t flip the switch. It gives a surrender emote. You blow its limbs off. While In a cut scene it’s running around in the background and you can renegade interrupt and shoot it in the head when it passes by you. Citadel I’m not sure but I think they are talking about when you are in the archives there is a scene where the bad guys have the drop on you. If you are quick on the draw you can renegade interrupt and shoot a giant model above you crashing it down for a distraction. If you wait your squad does it.

Yep, those are the ones. Shooting the mech at the end is mostly just a fun thing.
I also always shoot Brooks now. I talked her down a couple of times but shooting her as she tries to escape is the best end for her, imo. It's certainly well-deserved.

I quite often go for the more aggressive dialogue options in ME2's Tuchanka, as I imagine that goes over better with the male krogan and keeps Shepard from being viewed as a weakling. Other than that, I always zap the Blue Suns engineer. He seems like an alright dude (for an evil merc), but it iss tactically sound to try and remove a gunship from the fight before you start the fight.

Oh my god, shooting Brooks was weirdly cathartic compared to the disappointment that Kai Leng's and the Illusive Man's death brought.

Yes, I do shoot Brooks in the back without hesitation. Anyone who tries to take down the only hope the galaxy has for survival, just for petty gain, deserves to be shot in the back. If she'd done that post-war, it would be one thing, but there likely wouldn't be a post-war if Shepard were dead.

Yes, I always do that one too... it's just essential. One of the most satisfying things in the game. Without plot armor that guy would never have gotten off the Citadel after his failed assassination attempt. Or survived Thessia. Or lasted as long as he did on Cronus Station.

I like letting the squad mates shoot her instead and hearing their different comments. She dies in virtually every one of my playthroughs, but I couldn't say it was a renegade interrupt that I always use to do it.
I do, however, always shoot the mech. I like Shepard's head shake... over his/her squad's inability to just kill the thing outright after taking multiple shots at it... like, "Really?"

Zapping Sgt. Cathka is one. These merc gangs have a known reputation. As much as I value sentient life, those gangs are a means to an end. Plus, the sniper shot on the mech when you discover Archangel.
Finding Fade, when you interrogate the volus and find out it's Harkin, I always take out the krogan henchmen.
Recruiting Samara, both intimidating the volus 'merchant' and that Asari Eclipse merc.
Mordin's loyalty mission, shutting up that krogan spokesman.
In ME3, it's less about the interrupts and more the dialogue for me.
I start Paragon in dealing with the council, but when the coup happens, I always say: "Too bad it took THIS to get you on board" And talking to the asari councilor to go to Thessia: "Why the sudden cooperation?"
Although gut-punching Admiral Gerrel is not something I'd normally do, it really fits due to the whole WE WERE ON THE DREADNOUGHT AND SUCCESSFULLY DISABLED IT SO HOW IN HEAVEN'S NAME DID YOU THINK IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO BLAST US WHILE WE WERE STILL ONBOARD?!?
And of course, I always, ALWAYS break Kai Leng's sword. I have had ENOUGH of his crap, he DIES, NOW.
