Queued up some Doubles/Erangel/P(layer Unknown Battlegrounds) with a teammate and immediately jumped military, as is our custom. After killing some pugs who thought they could contest the base we proceeded to build a magnificent roadblock consisting of one UAZ, two motorcycles (one 3 man) and a buggy at the west bridge.

Unwilling to pay the toll, 4 different squads (I use the word "squad" to make it sound more impressive, as we were playing duos) were then surgically eliminated by my partner and myself and then looted (also surgically). Perhaps a little TOO hyped afterwards, my teammate was soon run over by a fifth squad who apparently didn't get the memo and killed him (as he flew ~ 1 million miles) while looting. Not to be perturbed, I figured some vengeance was in order and - after (surgically) looting my teammate - took the UAZ in hot pursuit.

Well, wouldn't you know it I ended up running over both of those mfers (who left the safety of their vehicle) and nobody even called the police. With the coast clear I proceeded to loot "dem ded bodeez."








I was then (surgically) sniped in the face by a Karabiner 98 Kurz.

And so, with the rippaz (surgically) beaten, everyone extracted on wave 11 and made beaucoup bucks - except FasterThanFTL, who decided to scorewhore and get killed by a ravager. What a scrub

Stingy.

So there I was, PUGging Silver first on my VolGod and then on Smashguard, when the host (a good player, though - way better than my scrubby ass) switched it up to Gold without notice, so I landed on Giant without any Equipment.
"Ugh, this isn't going to be fun", I thought, and prepared to die - a lot. Not that I didn't die on Silver, but this time it was going to be even more hilarious.
Alas, for some reason guys decided that teamwork wasn't the way to go, so the whole thing took quite some time (there were a TGI, a Demogrill, and a Smashdept). I tried to revive them when I could, but Smashguard isn't particularly sturdy, and playing off-host pretty much meant I had to forget about reliable BC. And, sure, they didn't want to use gels. Nor they wanted to use missiles.
After a long, long journey, it's wave 10, and it's Devices. Of course Devices.
I started to take care of the first one when I noticed that a Banshee, who was chasing someone else, suddenly changed her mind and decided to go and hug me. "Whatever", I thought, because I knew other players were around, they had missiles, and they would nuke the hell out of her way before she reached me. At least that's what the team I usually play with would do - or, if they ran out of missiles, they would try to stop that Banshee, to tell me to get out of there, or at least one of them would squeeze in between me and said Banshee and stop her or get synced instead of me. But that would be the team. Not the case with PUGs. They just scattered away and watched me get synced. So did I. I wrote an angry comment to the void, but that was all I could do. TGI also got hugged, so the cleanup took forever, and the Demogrill missiled one of the two remaining Banshees. Timely.
And, sure, then comes wave 11. That's when the nuking started. Hell, I swear the number of missiles they used was enough to nuke the whole planet, let alone a single firebase.

At least we got full extraction.

I missed extraction. Discounting being dead / incapacitated, I haven't missed extraction in years.

KILLSTREAKS

A Turian Pug joined my GIP on Glacier Hazard and spent all 6 nukes between wave 2-5.

Enough said? No, there's more! I hosted a new game, this time Goddess/Reapers. Guess who joined? Yes, him.

3 killstreaks on wave 3. I started hearing the Citadel DLC Arena announcer and her "killstreak" at one point.

In the end, he barely outscored the third Pug.

Heavy.

As in, the weight of my team-mates as I carried them to victory.


Playing as Old Reliable aka the TGI Harrier.

Fine.

Level 19 Slayer for teh wallhaxz. Barely survived, made it to level 20 and promoted.

Only Engineers at 107 promotions, every other class has 108/ level 20.

That means I am all done playing Engineers and Vanguards almost exclusively, and will start being the scorewhore GI DA VS etc that I want to be, and focus on weapons and soloing.

Gold speedrun records, I am coming for you. I will never be Alquinn, but I do think I can hit the top 10

The usual; I wanna be first

I dropped into a match where the host is a familiar name. He has two modes of play; always a jug and always missiling.

Not having "play" with this guy for a long time, I stayed to see what antics he would pull. I found out he modded the ammo output. I was using a Cerberus harrier and knew how much ammo per round is expended. It was going down too fast. Suspiciously fast; barely five ammo per auto shot. Which meant I'm mostly unable to shoot or shoot less and have to keep going to ammo boxes. Come wave 10, it was getting ridiculous so I shot off all six missiles and left the match. This kid player never changes. He does what it takes to get to the top.
