Ah ALIENTECH. I've seen the name in matches but since I'm pretty much occupied with what I'm doing they never stood out. That changed sunday. Came into a silver match on reactor and everything went pretty normal. (Someone seemed to like starting the reactor a lot though.) Along came wave 6 and it's hacking in the reactor. Everybody is in, we have 4 people hacking. All is good until about a quarter of the bar is left to go. Guess who chose to get out and fire up the reactor? No geth inside the only people getting fried are the rest of the squad. I can gel myself before getting stomped (cause now there are a bunch of geth on us), one does get stomped and what happened to third I don't know because I'm trying hard to stay alive and get the hack done. (I'm not what you would call a good player but I'm trying to get the mission done. ) I survived the wave and we managed a full extraction but ALIENTECH sure seems "special".

Just joined match with ALIENTECH, I was getting excited to test the ME3modmanager changeteam command and throw few warpballs to him. Unfortunately he died quite quickly every wave, I didn't get chance to do it and he quit the match early. Again after I danced on his corpse and didn't revive, perhaps that gets to his nerves, second time I noticed it happen

Missiles
As in a normal game for me on gold. I use all of my missiles no one else uses even one.
Also once again a fine witness to BioWares utter abuse of the krogan species. You are just f'cked if you play a non chicken krogan in this game.

You are just f'cked if you play a non chicken krogan in this game. I don't use the missiles nearly as much anymore... Started when I realized I was speedrunning all the time and no one else knew it on the team - they usually ditched the lobby afterwards because not only was I a blatant scorewhoor, but I was a smart one too. Wave 11 missiles would never catch me in those days, so much epeen I put into my kit. Now, I missile to save a teammate, kill a herd of swarmers, say "Hi" to a friend, say "FU" to a turd, and occasionally to switch a target on an objective wave. I did missile once on Wave 11 just now, to clear my way through the reactor to get to extraction... My Juggy teammate was surrounded, and would have either died trying or never made it out. Full extraction, nice to see you andy_3_913 Edit: andy was playing QFE, my Vorcha chased her bumbum alot but I had problems with my Shadowplay so no pics were taken

Now this does not apply as much when you have at least two good players that can trim the enemy fat so to speak quickly but in many pug matches for me there are people about my level of play which is medium.

SoClose
Match was Hazard Ghost/Collectors/Gold. The Krogan Warlord pug was near the LZ, and a Praetorian grabbed him. I was there alongside with another pug, we spammed a few attacks and the Crab dropped him, just in time for the second Praetorian to land down and grab him the very second he hit the ground. We staggered it, the Crab dropped him, and by the wave's end he got synced by another Praetorian. I was too far away to react in time, but decided to be nice and send a Claymore shot anyway, and he ragequit. Glad I haven't wasted any missile for him. At least he returned my melee between waves.

This I understand. Don't take my post as too smug; I definitely pull out the Cobra in the situations you mention, especially when I know the others won't or maybe will be too panicked to act on time. I guess I have been winning the PuG lottery lately, or been soloing. I am always the worst player in the lobby when I solo

This totally 100% fits with my previous comment about bioware and krogans. You just have no chance at all re sync kills with that class. (And I do not consider 'go stand on a ramp all game!) a proper answer to the issue.

Is this what hunter mode is supposed to look like? (I do not mean the cross hatch pattern screen like the geth scanner but the double image distortion of the player.) Since coming back to the game i have used the scanner a number of times and it is fine but when i tried the hunter mode for me it not playable.)

Whatever is going on in this screen shot is messed up for sure. I'm not sure if that is a console issue or lag or what.

Whatever is going on in this screen shot is messed up for sure Yes. if that is a console issue Nope. He's playing it on a mustard device. Really nope That's more like it. My bet is on low screen resolution. Since the pic is 800x600, I'm assuming the game is running on the same settings. I'll check it out myself and report back. 69 SITREP: Holy lolpotato Batman! I've tested it on my laptop, with native resolution of 1366x768. Set the game to 800x600 and here's the result. Conslusion: - I was right, send me pizza pls, - change the screen res to get rid off this lolpotato effect, - buy yourself a better mustard, coz your must be really out of date. CASE CLOSED.Now go and pug some games

Hi Sonashi, As a matter of interest, my GI suffers from the same [occasional] double-vision too. But all's not quite as simple as one might first suspect: the hazing, for me, only occurs when Hunter Mode is activated and if the game in question is the first of the session i.e. the double-vision doesn't seem to occur if after one or more games -- in the same session -- I then switch to the GI and activate HM. Odd. By the by, I too lowered my screen resolution in order to achieve better frame-rates.

There apprrs to be no in game changing of rezes Your PC res should be normal. But you have to change in-game res to make it work. For example I had 1366x768 on my laptop, but changed in-game res to 800x600, to see if that's the case. RoystonVasey63 I'd say your problem may be caused by that lower res as well. If I were you, I'd try to rise it again, and see if that still happens after the change. If no, then we already have an answer. Maybe that bug occurs because the in-game res and monitor general res are not the same. You should test some stuff

Wow, that is some ghosting there, Beerfish! ...but actually, that looks like a milder case of what my inherent normal vision is in my right eye (due to a degenerative keratoconus in it ) . I think my eye would need some calibrations! *********** back to thread ********** Drill-sergeant
One of the last pug games was with some guy with a whole lotta CP points, who showed some wannabe-drill-sergeant issues by telling people where to go and when (I'm sure some of it was meant to be helpful but it ended up tedious), like wanting everyone to stand in the middle tower in Rio for extraction, and out loud questioning my preference to go to the opposite far end from the EZ during countdown. Sorrynotsorry man, you're not the boss of me. *Gets crab-grabbed on purpose instead, while writing to him on screen that I'm not seeing the reason for doing that ever, less so for standing in the EZ like the other pug* In Rio, I will stay forever alone.
