That the controller mod causes this, would be my guess as well. But you can change the resolution from outside the game. Search for the "MassEffect3Config.exe" in your "Mass Effect 3/Binaries" Folder. Just start the .exe and change the resolution in there, then save and the game will use that resolution on the next start.

Landed in a Reactor Hazard/Collectors/Gold GiP. Damn if this wasn't one of the laggiest matches I've ever played. It was the typical "if a collector is focused on you, you're dead or health-gated in a second" kind of match. I texted about that, and the juggy host told me to get the fuck off. I stayed, and replied him with a big "LOOOOOL". It was a laggy mess even for the other pug, so I wasn't taking the match too seriously.
Targets on both wave 6 and 10. The juggy tried to cook me inside the reactor, I guess he was looking forward to putting me in my place. That didn't happen.
He scored last, and back in the lobby I told fuck to his host, then left the building.

So, I joined this White/Reapers GiP at the end of wave 5. The Shadow pug was carrying the other two pugs, a Batarian something and an inexperienced Paladin. We got a hack on wave 6, and in a way or another we managed to survive until wave 10 (the Shadow carried wave 8). Drone escort, had to save the Batpug from a warm hug, the Paladin who got stomped/hugged on almost every wave left and returned and got another hug after some seconds. LOOOOL.
Right before that the Shadow was hugged, so now are me and the Batpug. We finished the escort, I proceeded to reach the corner of win without looking at my back, and ended up hugged because the Banshee who I've killed before spawned there.
Saving the Batpug was a mistake. He fought the enemies for like 20 minutes with his Scorpion (without consumables, apparently). Took 10 to take down Ravagers and Brutes, the other 10 were an epic showdown between him and the remaining enemies, 2 Banshees. He escaped the whole time trying to shoot during their teleport animation, and then finally gave up and let them warp him to death.
