Two (yes, TWO) Puggernauts camping the box at Rio. Let's just say Volus Sentinel (even with the godly Revenant) shouldn't get these kind of scores. (If the Talon GI didn't join at Wave 3, I don't think we'd made it past the second objective.)

Great
So basically I was bored and went for a game as Krolard/Javelin. U/U gave me a White Hazard/Collectors GiP where I found a cheesgar Volus and a melee Juggernaut, a fourth pug joined shortly after me. Except for the Volus who ragegelled every single time, the game was mostly unremarkable until Wave 10. Wave 10 came and we got devices. The host, out of gels since Wave 8, went over the other side of the map to nuke the spawn and, of course, never came back. Devices were in tricky positions but without the Volus around we activated all of them without further incident. Wave 11, the host went in the same spot as before to nuke another spawn and died again as result. The juggernaut tried to save him but died in the middle of the crowd and joined the Volus in spectator mode. Epilogue: with 5 seconds to go, I reached the EZ and found a half-dead Abomb right behind the Destroyer. I charged him and ended up as lone survivor.

The Volus Sentinel is a pretty high-scoring kit with all the assistance points. You can drop a Combat Drone and a Decoy in with the two Juggies to stagger the mooks. Lancer or Arc Pistol would be a better weapon choice as you need some hitting power.

I play volus kits more or less for fun. Before Revenant, I used Striker on him

Tried a GPS Turian Engineer build. Two more turians (Soldier and Sentinel) randomly joined in, and there was a turian rampage (with a random geth) against Collectors in Vancouver. This was probably tested to death already, but Sabotage interacts with Abominations interestingly: if you kill an Abomination quickly enough after applying Sabotage, a Sabotage animation plays on the corpse, and the Abomination just dies instead of exploding.

Filthy.Wanted to blow off some steam after playing a Plat trio on Jade (host preset for their Drell Inf...) where I was left alone, as a molasses-walking speed PPR Destroyer, to kill most of the Banshees and Primes that got close. Truly more important to kill distant enemies to catch up to my score than run-wreckers collapsing the group's pocket... and finishing off the trash enemies I'm a breath away from melting because what is efficiency and good teamwork? I still finished with a 4K lead. So to burn off my frustration from that asshattery, I took my pure sniping Gold class ( Widow Human Infiltrator with Paladin meme-sidearm) into a UUG that became Vancouver Cerberus. Teammates seemed like they would struggle mightily and probably fail without an anchor, although the host had a decent grasp on the gameplay fundamentals. The enemies seemed to have a barely perceptible hardware lag which might have tempered the AI a tad. Enter the filth. I was hitting all my shots and probably had one of my best games in terms of accuracy and results. I estimate at least 80 headshot kills. Could have been more, but even ballpark estimates are difficult with tracking metrics ending at 20. In any event, I reached 20 headshot kills during Wave 2, which was about when someone left (in disgust? lol) who was quickly replaced. Some sequences of nonchalant dominance would have looked botlike to observers, but I wasn't nearly as fast as they would be. I slowed my roll a bit during the middle waves because I felt a little dirty and I know it's not much fun playing with someone performing as I was, but I had to reassert myself in the later waves to maintain some stability. Still, I believe I did 3/4 devices during Wave 10 and earned the 10 revive medal. I love the art of pulling off daring revives that shouldn't be possible, threading the needle of life in the vicinity of death. In short, Bonus game in one word: XDMissile in the front (to clear the upload circle), phantom sword in the back. I was a standard GI Jav, so an ideal class for that map. My team was not winning that match without a carry, but they did an okay job with the space I managed to provide them (whether or not they understood that was my goal). Yes, we won. No, I did not maintain the divinity of "my team's score combined", because (1) I was executed Wave 10 as shown and said, (2) during Wave 11 I almost always ensure that the enemy spawn point between extraction and "the room" is blocked for an easier retreat, which leaves me with little to shoot, and (3) Wave 11 missiles from teammates, naturally.

Owned.... Plat/Cerb/Goddess So me and a guy that i'm friends with decided to do a plat match....now it was cerb, but at the time there was a banshee that snatched up my partner...no worries tho because this banshee was low on health AND was the last enemy on the field. So im the destroyer and i'm tanking her around the map. Now shes warping, but her health is extremely low....it was to the point to where i could just unload on her and its a wrap. But she keeps warping and i'm like "no way...her health should be gone by now"....she had a slither of health left...i'm in destroyer mode with AP 4 and a fully loaded Typhoon....and yet she warps right in front of me with her slither of health and before i could turn and run?....she snatches me up....i know my partner was like wtf man!!!?... ....i should've played it safe, but i felt like this guy from the movie "Feast"..... Luckily after my a$$ got waxed a vorcha came in at the very last second right before that "mission failed" screen, which i'm sure would have came up if he didn't come and cook that damn banshee well done with a side of hot sauce....not sure what wave it was, but it was very early...maybe wave 1 or 2, but we ended up making extraction when another shadow infil came in and assisted....

Satisfying.
Hosted a match and had the absolute joy and privilege of getting to kick Punisher from the game not once, but twice (within 5 minutes). In spite of this, didn't die, topscored, and extracted.
Both times, he had just enough time to load into the match and walk over to me, then got booted before he could do anything at all. Really a delightful experience.

Gem As in those rare ones hidden out there in Puggerlands. Among all the Reegars, Harriers and Puggernauts you can sometimes find some fun kits used by capable players. Had a couple of games with someone named SimplyKaicel: Melee between waves, swarmer nuking and a "thx for the games" afterwards. GGs - highly recommended

I joined a couple of matches in progress that went well, then another where we wiped on wave 10.
To those who I played with (if you are on here): I am sorry, but this is my second day back playing ME3 multiplayer on PC in over a few years (and I just ramped it up to Gold difficulty) and I am terrible with a keyboard and mouse. I am used to playing with a controller, so I end up spending too much time trying to hit the right keys to use powers or equipment, then hoping I get my fingers correctly back onto WASD.
I may have to look into installing a controller mod to see if that helps.

If you haven't already, you could also try re-mapping the keys to more convenient places. Q E Z X C V are all good candidates for things like medigel and ops packs, etc. Also handy for reload cancelling.

Quarians. Having spent some stressful (this is what I feel seeing 2-page replies) time educating the story subforum on the matter, I equipped my favourite suit rat and went into the puglands. Landed with another quarian host (Wraith FE) and readied up. The pug got rid of the rocket launcher and started sending me melees after a few waves, which also stresses me a little (I feel that responding to this is a promise that I won't fuck things up, which I usually can't give) but in the end not only we took care of all the objectives and dominated the whoreboard but I also didn't go down until a CF and opspack lags on extraction (HDagger/Reapers... ). Then we played a few more games with funny kits, making noise and melting bosses in seconds with combos from the entire team. Anyway, MetaStotle is an appreciated pug.

Fast nukingOh... I'll just be in the corner with my GPS, weeping silently in shame Hmm.. I guess you took it too seriously If you don't melee back, it's a sign of bad manners and being rude. Heavy melee is like a high five. If you refuse it, it's no better than playing with PUGs. All I have to say, it was my fastest pug match in my life. Sub 14 with excessive nuking from our TGI/Harrier illustrious host. Anyway, nice bumping into you. DuoHad a nice gold duo with ArdatYakshi(sth) who played good Juggy. I had no lag whatsoever. My Claymore registered all the shots I wanted, like on my own brilliant host. Bugz lost a lot of heads tonight. GG Slou startThat was probably the longest match start I've ever had. Probably a minute between arrival and start of wave 1. Lag was noticeable but not atrocious. Which was surprising. I had a nice conversation with drell-11. We exchanged some complaints about our host Overall it we decided to stay and help others earn those credits. Unfortunately the game ended after the host left the game. I just could ask myself only one question..

Yeah, that was an unforgivable faux pas on my part. Sometimes in matches with BSNers, though, I don't melee back because I'm too worried about underperforming, so between waves I just run off and stare intently into the distance, thinking about how to avoid embarrassing myself before proceeding to embarrass myself anyway. Anyway, really painless match. My favorite moment was when I went to nuke one of the targets and the missile took out everything in the surrounding area except the target itself. Love this game and how completely functional and not at all buggy it is.

Hacks
Ran into glorysniper again, who was up to the same nonsense as always. In the second match I saw him in, he fixed my score so it was first 0, then 1000000. Does he have some sort of vendetta against me for actually being able to play the game without being a cheating pissbag? Who knows. I left so I didn't have to keep bothering with him alternating between running around one-shotting everything and just standing there like an inept prick while he patronizingly alters my score.

I ran a lot of silver PUGs this weekend - there are some really good players out here. I'm still seeing new and fresh faces in the game as well. I ran into *that* Krogan getting picked up by the ATLAS mechs and cannot help but feel for them - I've been there. A while later and I watched said Krogan try to melee a Phantom to death (he died). I give him credit for not getting too mad at the game, although he did use a lot more missiles in later games. I did have to save him from the prison shower scene with a Scion though. Sometimes I think that people are trying to play a game of 101 ways to die in ME3MP.

Banshee.... Gold/white/Reapers.... Not sure what was up with this particular banshee..but she wanted some of this caramel chocolate goodness.....it might have been wave 8 (i always seem to die on that wave... )....and she was just hounding me the entire wave. couldn't even concentrate on lesser enemies, because by the time i tried to focus on one, she'd be right on my a$$.....so after getting annoyed with her, i just turned and stated politely "wow...congrats on the pregnancy...who's the lucky father?"....and she stated.."WHAT? i'm not pregnant!"....then i stated "oh uhm....what pretty eyes you have miss bans---hurragghh!".... What really happened was that i got caught in a cover animation while running and she snatched me up when i tried to break cover......sometimes you can't escape your fate.....she was determined...seemed like she ignored everybody else on the map....
