Not bad ...So to chase away my me3mp blues the other day i picked my, totally not op, L4 gear Asguard for a quick gold Glacier/Carebears solo run. all was going as planned right until the wave 3 targets tidy up and that all familiar lag jolt pre-announcing someone joining the game. so much for the solo run and a note to self to pay attention to the lobby setup... so them first victim (AP Graal/Non-charged Arc pew-pew-pew Destroyer) had their asses whooped quickly by them wave 4 goons so they bailed (they came back later too). two more joined pretty much around the same tim, @lapngo (Talon Batguard so many close double charging sync units we got away inbetweeen the two of us) and a Hurrdur/BW Hinfie (a competent player, but the dual weap kit out made me curios if a MEA returnee or smth) by the name @harmlesstoo. the latter made me wonder if our own Tortoise's alt, but then the dual weap setup dont't think so. anyways, went pretty smooth from there let the lift grenades spam curry us to the extraction in just above 20 minutes. GG the obligatory epeen screenshot...  and the video, for posterity, and for the entertainment of those really bored at work....... |

Blast. Did the usual thing i.e. went pugging Gold with something like this. Dropped into Glacier/Collectors W3 and played hyperaggresive the entire match. Got downed twice (once to target misprioritization, once to a crab after running into a web while retreating), sent W8 to hell with three 4-5-boss nukes and finished in 15:44 despite crappy objectives, all with Samara's soundtrack from ME2 playing in the background. Someone fired 3 nukes on extraction only to kill one abomb. The host left as soon as the scoreboard showed. Later, I joined a non-BSN friend I'm exceptionally keen on playing with. Lost all opspacks to the HGlacier/Reapers BS, switched to a volus for survivability, had a good&smooth game and left the friend CarlosS4444 to curry because RL was calling. GG. |

Temper Tantrum Niah niah, you never tried to save me, you let me die. if I didn't make it to the LZ, neither will you! Niah Niah.  I imagined that's what the host was feeling. He was a Turian infil and went on a missile spree in wave 11. That meant the respawns ended up at our end because he was killing all the spawns. We three had no choice but to use missiles too because we had a horde of phantoms, etc popping up right on top of us. Host ran out of missiles and kept going down to phantoms; he miscalculated when we started using missiles and he was caught with zero missiles and his infil skill on cool down with a horde of phantoms going for him. So he died because none of us could get to him and at the last seconds, he dropped out, cancelling the match. Poor poor fella. tsk tsk ROTFLOL at the end. |

Was flying around screaming with my Novaguard until I got fisted by a Banshee then the match proceeded to go to shit. I think one of my teammates let themselves bleed out on wave 10 because I didn't respond to them on mic and don't have text to chat enabled lol

Two lift nades killstreaks on Geth/Gold. Following my successful passing into next year of my masters, I took some time to get back to ME3MP. And do much drinking, but let us not go there right now... In any case, to my surprise, PS3 zone seems quite alive, at least in GMT evenings. I've had some fun drunk matches, where I was burning through consumables at an alarming pace. And rarely had I had so much fun. It felt... genuine. Like we were struggling for survival. Yes, it was only Gold, but my inebriated state allowed me to see this game for what I could never see it before. It was... genuinely fun, for the first time in a long time. I'm glad to see PS3 battlefield is still holding reasonably strong |

I'm glad to see PS3 battlefield is still holding reasonably strong *Headbutt* Good to see you back where you belong my friend, having escaped the allure of Dishonoured.  I know what you mean about how good it can feel to be 'struggling for survival' - my last PUG resulted in me having a new friend after Collectors almost got the best of us on Condor. Almost. We played a couple of games with two pretty clueless noobs, but watching his ickle Volus clutch a couple of waves (after major stoopidity on my part) was truly epic. Looking forward to joining you on the battlefield again soon, drunk or sober, and congrats on the academic progress.

I wasn't aware krogan began training their first infiltrator division. How else am I to interpret the fact that you seem to be aware of what I have been doing all these past months, but I have no idea how you came upon that information? 
Jokes aside, I have indeed been allured by the siren call of Dishonored. Pretty much the only reason I got back to ME3MP was the one stated... I wanted to get back to it for a time at least. Partly as celebrating what I still view as undeserved success and partly to relieve some of the old feelings.
But see, the siren call is ever-present. Not just from Corvo and his lovely daughter, but there is also Kratos and his somewhat whiny progeny that demand my attention. There is blood to be spilled in the streets of Yharnam and bugs of all manners to be squashed in Hallownest.
And many, many more. The fact is... I still love ME3MP. My latest stint proved that beyond the shadow of a doubt. And I will probably forever hold a plethora of fond memories(as well as a fair share of unfond ones, but water under the bridge and all that).
But I also love finding and exploring new universes. Maybe none of them will ever be quite as big as the one in Mass Effect. I sincerely doubt that, but it's possible. But I want to at least try I want to meet new and awesome people, set sail for new horizons and get myself lost once more. For all its vastness, the universe of Mass Effect is a thing of a past for me.
I do want to play a few more games with you again. Maybe even a Silver duo? I think I would like that If you feel up for it, we can even bump it up to Gold. The best time for that would be somewhere during the next week. After that, the faculty opens its door again and I will be otherwise occupied.
Who knows, maybe I even find myself a company with whom we shall play... other kinds of games
If you can manage to find some time during that window, that would be grand. If not, maybe we can arrange something else, sometimes down the line. Drop me a PM and we can discuss this further.
But once September of this year runs to a close, I will once again be retiring from the battlefields of the Milky Way. Maybe not permanently, but certainly once again for an extended period of time.
Whatever may come, I am glad to be a part of this community You guys tought me pretty much all I know.

Mistaken ...as in mistaken identity that is. had my wires crossed mistook @gariniy (?) for @igorf33 (?) last night. got so excited with them satying around even after a hearty basnhee hug. Had me wondering if that's another of them unicorn sightings or somesuch that we seem to be coming across all of a sudden. But nope. a bit of a bummer. I felt the need to scratch that itch - levelling in "classic" Warcraft is not as fun as I had remembered. I opted to leave Stranglethorn Veil and head for Sunny Tuchanka or even the frozen wastes of Noveria. What I got was a mixed bag of mostly suicidal retards and score-hoes. I watched a Krogan get killed nearly every wave. He got Brute-dunked, he got Banshee boobies in his face  , and he almost got his hands on that Phantoms butt (but not quite). It got to the point where I would leave him bleeding out in the hopes that the Puggernaught on the other side of the map might need revive medals. The last time I rewvived him he blew up an A-bomination on me - never again shall I be nice to them. Didn't even have the decency to return light melees. As per the Pugland Handbook (I assume it exists), objective waves were pretty sketchy. I always enjoy seeing new blood in the game, but I wish they would contribute when the time is right as well as not rocket the hell out of spawns on wave 11 |

A 44-minute plat Collectors match on Rio where I did a bulk of the work? Yes, went swimmingly  Not sure if we've played together; I don't tend to notice names unless a person's an especially bad teammate lol

I m not pugging much and enjoys it when i do. This time i landed in game with the host alone dying all over the place and not gelling even during obj wave i soloed 2 3 4 and maybe 5. Then i got help. then i got stuck inside a structure on vancouver on W10! Was fun a banshee came to visit twice, and i still could draw aggro and use my missiles. Now happily accepting recommendations for how to fuck with scumbag hosts, thanks in advance! Then i got bored and wanted to try that nice console command : killviewedactor it didnt work i should have respawned instead 
For the host defense, he was sporting a fury with suppressor ... Collectords, btw, had strange looks and died rather quick

Aggravating.
Suffered through 8.5 waves of nonsense, then the sound glitched out and I got phantom-stabbed because I couldn't hear anything. Between that and having to deal with a useless scrub (anyone else have to put up with someone called yhvh10 recently? They're so bad I can only assume they're doing it on purpose) I just gave up and quit. Really had no interest in sitting around and waiting just to babysit this twat again.
