Haven't pugged in ages actually, but today was the time to change that!
Landed in a game on Goddess/Cerberus. It went smoothly, was fun and had no nukes I think so I decided to stay for another one. Also fun, even though some nukes were fired. But I guess London/Geth can do that to people We even had some glorious teamwork

Pretty funny to me, I rock up to a pug lobby, the host knows who I am, because I've played with him/her a couple times in the past.

*Host switches it to platinum*

And it was a shit show, because I was playing with the asari adept for the 1st time in platinum and with not a lot of experience on my current build for the AA.

First and foremost just because I'm good, doesn't mean we guarantee victory on platinum difficulty. Just putting that out there ahaha.

Arc Pistol op, Talon op, Wraith, Raider, Claymore...all op on Vanilla AA. Maybe she's just op

I initially was trying to pug gold, and when i got no hits there i pugged Plat for the lol's because i was using my Phoenix Vanguard. Now i luv the phoenix, but i never take him to plat because i feel he's too squishy, but at the time i didn't feel like switching to my reliable destroyer kit which i normally use for plat. So i was dropped into a white reaper game with an asari something on wave 2...Surprisingly i rarely died with the phoenix, i was biotic charging and hitting folks with smash as if i was on gold lol.



Maybe the host had a great connection or whatever, but no lag, and damage and hit detection was on point. We was joined later by an AIU kit and another human engineer who did great as well and we went on to clear the game..i was just shocked i did as well as i did with this kit on plat...i was expecting to get my a$$ waxed on every wave....

“Prepper”

I start an easy Giant/Gold/Reapers, flawless till this pug with a severe allergy to medi-gel button joins me in wave 4.
He starts dying, I revive him all the time starting to burn consumables cause my dps is not enough to clear the area in time apparently (vindicator for the lulz). After camping the damned lz for an hour he finally decides to run to the other side of the map just to get smashed by a brute. Ok, wave 4 cleared and I already have my 5 revives medal, but no problem, joining a GiP can be rough.
Wave 5, he rushes the spawn and get dropped, no way I’m getting there this time with double banshees and just 2 ops pack for the rest of the match, he bleeds out. Uhm, ooook. Wave 5 cleared.
Devices, he dies on the other side of the map while I’m hacking the first. Second device is near his corpse, ha!
No gel used of course, I revive him after using a rocket and hack the second. He rushes the enemies again, gets overwhelmed and of course it’s a good idea to kite them on me while I’m hacking the third.
He dies near me, no gel again, another rocket, I revive him and return to the third device.
Fourth device, back at lz, he is already there with the enemies and guess what… Yep, he’s dead and is not going to press that damned button. One more rocket, I do not revive him this time, he bleeds out while I hack the last and then clear the wave.
Wave 7, strangely he manages to stay alive for a while, so I use him as a distraction for the banshee while working down the budget. It’s almost done, 4 enemies left. He drops cause of a ravager and since he wasn’t that bad in this wave I decided to revive him yet again. Revive done, I search for a safer spot to end the wave, turn the corner and… Hello darkness, my old friend.
Spectator mode, a marauder drops him immediately, he does not gel up, mission failed.

Now… Was he a newbie? Hahahaha… No.

4 enemies left, “best of the best” with 6 rockets and 6 medi-gels.
I go check his profile and… Seriously, if you have a bazillion cool points, plenty of credits and you are full on absolutely everything, you can also use something sometimes. What are you saving those gels for? Prepping for famine Mass Effect edition?

Gold is supposed to be a walk in the park. Not that day.

From now on if a fellow lolps3 bsner happens to stumbles upon me while I’m dancing on a pug’s corpse instead of reviving, well, I have my reasons lol

Ah yes Doc, there's a common trend about BotB players on ps3 and it does not point in the right direction (barring some exception). They are always up to something weird. I can probably fill the entire thread with just this stuff.

Talon mercenary + Geth spitfire? Check.
Harrier and Javelin on the same character (who happens to be an asari justicar)? Check.
Batarian gauntlet on a batarian? Check.
Being as useful as a red carpet for reapers? Check.

Ps3 pugland is a wild, wild place.

The pugs on PS3 are something else lol throughout my entire 4k+ hours on ME3 MP I've see a lot of things.

Complimenting a rage induced player, gets me an even more angrier message back.
Pug telling another pug that his character is fkn useless "Get off that useless krogan character" Me in the background: lmao
Getting kicked for being too good at the game.
Pug claiming that I used incendiary rounds IV when it was incendiary rounds I.

Pug messaging me in broken english, which I think he's saying I give him lag whenever I enter his game lol. <--- this one was recent ahaha

I don't know, I'm like a magnet and somehow end up running into these kinds of pugs, but i'm not complaining either way at the end of the day, they make me laugh so it's all good
