Searching for a random game put me into my own lobby. 2 seconds later it was full of pugs. Okay, we'll do this, 10 enemies at a time thing, that's always entertaining in a pug match.
Wave 3 was a hack, of course the 4th place pug was off on the other side of the map. All I said was "hi what are you doing" and 5 seconds later he was in the hack with us.
It was like he KNEW that Bad Things (tm) were about to happen to him! (And I don't mean from the enemies either)

Major Curry. Reactor Hazard/Cerberus/Gold
Flamer Trooper + Talon and me as melee Kroguard. Sounds like a decent combo? Nope. Those 2 scored not even 30k each. And that's only because I finished objectives for them. Got 15 revives by wave 4. And then just stopped bothering. Went and meleed Fantums and Goons and a ton of turrets even with rubberbanding. Carried them till wave 10 objective. Those were target Atlases and I only had 2 missiles left (used 4 to save PUGS from Atlas stomps) Killed 2 Atlases with rockets and meleed a third one on the stairs. Couldn't kill a 4th one, because I got overrun by pesky ninjas. Fortunately a Salarian joined at the last minute, nuked the last Atlas and then lagged out, started running super slow and got slashed to pieces - rolled down the stairs.

So back in the lobby, I asked him if he would like to know a simple trick to make his Flamer do more damage. He answered me by quitting.
What is it with people these days? It's like they don't even want to become better players.
Speaking of which, just now I dropped into a lobby with a TGI Harrier host, who readied up with an SMG AMP II. The other pugs readied up, meanwhile I was telling him that it won't do him any good, he is wasting equipment, and he looks like an idiot. The timer got down to 1 second, I double tapped Ready to reset it to 5, then went into the store to eliminate the countdown altogether so I could deride him some more. One of the pugs kept chuckling into his microphone. The host tapped his Ready button a few times to make sure it wasn't broken, then left the lobby.

That was his or her username. N7 level 11 Human Soldier, kinda leeched into a game with docsteely and myself and then hung around for a Reapers game on Reactor Hazard where he quite impressively didn't die much at all. Very suspicious.
Hope my Flamer wasn't too annoying doc. I haven't played the Trooper in forever and those damn Geth cost me more than a few rage gels and missiles. I also swear I didn't see your Jugg's shield until we were at the EZ of the second game you used him, when its appearance made me laugh out loud. That's my kinda Jugg!
(Edit: I should also apologize for going into battle again with totally inappropriate gear - Grenade Gear + SMG III on a Trooper with GPR. I'd been playing the Batdept Hurricane earlier and forgot to change loadout.)

Always a pleasure Grunt and the Flamer was very fun (+Siege Pulse= Kaboom) , but you forgot to mention the Krolord that died on (almost) every wave, culminating with the extraction when he got picked up in the first 20s by a banshee on his way to the LZ... while you and me were at the other side of the map. I also have to confess I've tried at least twice to get them fried ... I've got to practice more

Before getting to play some very nice games on gold with the General and after that with Grunt, I've started a public lobby on Ghost/Rippaz/Gold. On wave 3 a Black Widow GI gets into the game, hooray!. Looks I've got some help... Except you know if it's a man or a mouse when the s**t hits the fan. He gets himself killed at the start of wave 8, so I am left with almost the whole budget of the wave. After twice missiling coupled Banshees and Brutes I begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Only to have the PUG quit... I've only 1 missile left (wave 3 was targets and I've saved his a** at least twice) and of course wave 10 I've got targets. Result (after switching targets): If he'd only waited a couple more minutes... But he left and lost the money.

I got kicked I think for the first time in I don't even remember how long. I'm generally a nice guy and never get kicked. But this was a bit too much. I dropped into a lobby, that was the only lobby I got dropped in today because all the rest were GiPs (in Russia, in Hong Kong, in Alaska, and in I don't know where with no ping or with ping over 200 msec). The lobby was actually in the USA finally and I was so happy that I decided to stay regardless of anything. There were two low level pugs N7 9 and N7 13 with level 1 rare guns, iirc, mattock and geth pulse rifle. I texted in the lobby asking why you want to play gold, why no consumables, and then finally why at least not level 20. As I was switching to GI with cyclonics IV and switching weapons, I was kicked out. Apparently, the only thing they know about the game is how to kick and all the rest still remains a mystery to them. I tried to rejoin but could not which may suggest that they actually switched it to silver. Well, maybe to platinum, not sure.

Dropped GiP into a White/Reapers/Gold preset, with only the host, a Slayer Vanguard. Two other pugs joined soon afterwards. Wave 10 was the hack in the old downstairs camp room, and of course the host, now behind by quite a bit on the scorewhoreboard, decided it was time to do some catching up. He was off in the upstairs hallway fighting whatever had spawned in that corner.
Well of course, he went down, and as he had spent the prior Waves ragegelling, was now out of gel, and didn't get up. One of the pugs tried to get to him, but they went down, too. The jug tried to get to THAT pug, and I was hacking all by myself.
Once that Wave was finished, it was apparent that the host was now RAGE AFK. Oh no, I thought, he's going to get kicked! And that's bad for the rest of us! Something must be done! I lured a Ravager to that hallway, then cloaked, so that it shot at him instead. Since he was afk, and now down, and now dead, the match was saved!

I am feeling the urge to PUG equipped only with the randomizer later just to see what happens.
Pfft. That randomizer is rigged. The most challenging combination is offered me was Javelin Phoenix Adept, and Hornet Drellguard. Seriously, thing needs to troll harder.
It offered me things like Avenger TGI (Already done that), Reegar QFE (Not done, but I already use shotguns on her...), Raider Batarians (in every class flavour), Crusader Demolisher. Every single roll was garanteed to be better than the average PUG's loadout.

I'll have to see I am due to play some games on xbawks first if I finish work at a decent time. 10 pm or later is looking likely
