Shameful

I was down to needing 8 waves survived to complete Bloodpack Mastery with the KroSol, and had just had two Claymore upgrades. I'm at VII now. I paired the two and went searching. The U/U/G Gods were having a laugh as I landed on Giant Hazard against Reapers. It was a strange game, with my score more than double everyone else, but we wiped on wave 8 - no Bloodpack Mastery for me. One of the reasons it was strange was because I got to witness the others in Spectator Mode twice. A Batguard who just attempted to Lash everything to the point that I think he was specced out of BC, something else I forget, and then a Human Adept who almost got us through wave 8 after I shamed my krannt by being so stupid as to climb a ladder straight into a Banshee's embrace. The first time was just as I'd finished capping a final device, so I didn't feel quite as bad. But the second time? No excuses, just stupid. The thing about the Human Adept was the strangest of all though. Really low level player, but with obvious skills and a name phonetically similar to cato, with a number one quarter of his PSN handle. It can't have been cato though - I was outscoring them and we wiped. Sad Krogan. I did play another game immediately afterwards but it was blighted by hosts quitting. Mastery achieved, for the 12th time overall.

What? No doing by yourself all the objectives? No Jug killed by one(!) Phantom or Kroguard killed because "you messed with his spawns"?  No idiot screaming at you while you carry his arse through the game (because obviously there's idiots and idiots with mics) ? A Pug game relaxing? 

I said surprisingly...

I would have waited to watch him quit, that's like the reward, but othewise yeah good job

Laggy.

But that weird kind of laggy, where the enemy seems to always target the host/other people. I'd be lagged for several seconds, and when I would come back, not only would I still be alive, but the stuff I was attacking would usually be dead.

Maybe the Vorcha Hunter has special lag-resistant powers.

Sorry, had some really bad experiences with Pugs lately. So when I see you use the word relaxing and SMR meeting actually nice newbies, I kind of popped...  

Silver Baws, or the tale of mic Germans and an old leechy friend (in other words: a leeching piece of sh*t who purposefully make the others carry him, . Don't let his score fool you, he is going to finish last and will be of no help whatsoever, just ask evn).
The tale started on silver, when good ole' Cerb promoted his Turian Sentinel and searched for a silver game. Two mic-using Germans were his reward. They were "silver bawses", lvl 2-3 consumables on builds which just laugh at Silver. After some Arc Pistol-practice (got the 20 headshot in W8, yay), the germans decided to ninja-switch the same White-Cerb match to Gold. Thankfully, I realized it in time and selected the HFI+Mantis combo.
So we started, there were major problems at W3 already, but I did the devices. W6 hack, revivefest, by that time I realized if I'm staying with them, we wipe, so no casualties on my part. The host ragequited at W7 with some Atlas-Dragoon-Phantom induced PTSD. The other German stayed, and bled out instantly, leaving me to complete W7. I realized this is the perfect moment to get what I wanted to achieve long ago: two Gold headshot medals at the end! Always getting a Gold and a Silver, but now I can do it!
The German corpse sent an invite to his friend, who rejoined in W7, with alex-leech69 (it was quite a gamble; if I just leave when he was stomped, they are 100% wiped in W7). Mr. Leech69 was revived by the others for a bit but bled out if they didn't. I got the second 20HS medal, delivered the second pizza, extraction wave.
The German guy (the one who stayed, the corpse) made me regret the carry. He was a Paladin, so with every Cryo Explosion kill (the other one was a TSent, so exploded everything for him, doubtful that it was intentional) he managed to be approx. 10-15k behind me at the start of W11. He rocketed W11 just to topscore. I didn't even think about it, as I steered clear of them until the scoreboard was visible and I could hear the excited chatter and some German words I understood. I really hope we won't meet again in Gold, because I'm going to carry your sorry ass again you pathetic an*lbag, because I don't want to waste my amps and the ton of points/waves I can get with it. Also, I didn't get the two 20HS medal, because it seems I earned the first in the restarted W7, so the game locked me with 10-something headshots I had at the beginning of the wave.
Alex-leech tried to extract but failed miserably, thankfully to some Phantoms. At least that happened.

But it might as well could have been, since this was actually the second time something like this happened to me. The first time I was talking to my cat- of course nobody understood the gibberish and it was rather short. This time, the poor pugs let me go through several lyrics of different songs.
