But some lessons need to be taught the hard way. Playing on Wii U, I get in my lobby two over 1000 N7s. OK, I think, now is the moment for some U/U/S. I am with my trusted Claymore HInf (lvl 18), slap on my best equipment (AP I, Sgun RA II and AdrMod II) and change the lobby to Silver. They take the challenge and we're off with the game. One of them plays the Shadow/Arc Pistol, the other the Paladin/Harrier+Phalanx, both are lvl 20. We also have a decent newb playing a lvl 16 Fury (Predator), whom I carried through some preceding games.

We get Reapers/Rio,  on W3 - hack in the Relay Station, all goes well. W6 it's pizza delivery time and it's my job to deliver it - done, but one ops pack used. I think we may pull this off... On W8, I manage to use both my gels and bleed out towards the end of the wave, but the Paladin rises to the occasion and finishes by himself. I am impressed despite me - this guy knows to play, I think. Comes W10, of course we get the long escort (from the LZ to the Relay Station), which I carry, mostly with the Paladin help; I get to use both my missiles, but no more banshees, so we finish it off. And...

W11 it's extraction time and to my huge disappointment I am hovering alone near the box of shame. Both the Shadow and the Paladin are well on their way to the LZ and the newb is undecided: should he stay with me or go with them? He goes with them and obviously we have the expected outcome: I am the Lone survivor.

Really sorry, guys, but there are some basics you cannot avoid.
