Yesterday I ran into a KroSent that did not return headbutts to my KroGuard - and I attempted many times. I assume his clan was destroyed and the whelp didn't know what was expected of them.
After I kited a few Crabtorians onto them and charged off into the sunset, I actually felt guilty. The purpose of this game is not to go around and get other players killed - I don't play that way even as a cold, murderous, non-caring, can't be bargained with Geth infiltraytor (Who we all know I actually play more like a roving Bamblance).
I did notice, however that they stayed VERY far away from me for the rest of the match except for the hack circle. When he got picked up in said hack circle I charged, saving them and then they STILL didn't return headbutts.
I collected my credits and got the hell out of there. At least as a Vorcha Pyro people stay the hell away from you and don't expect headbutts.

Fun
I respecced my quarian waifu with full weapon passives (had to sacrifice Sabotage tech vulnerability to do it; but I rarely use elemental ammo with her so it's not too great a loss). Had fun sniping toasters (sandstorm notwithstanding), then more fun sniping bugs. The other players were all fine; Collectors with pugs is always a gamble but this team had no difficulties. The second game ended in WFOP, so that was a hint to quit while ahead.
As if fun were not its own reward, I also unlocked a Saber upgrade.

Your fame has been googled by McMuffin. Just do it for the sake of all who will ever meet him. He might as well quit if he can max the manifest and you thus can spare everyone from this menace. Consider it your sacrifice for the sake of humanity.

Joy (1) Unlocked the Scorpion and test drove it on Hazard Reactor/Rippahz/Silver (I'm lazy today). Very Effective. How can I say that in a Salarian accent? (2) At last managed to exact revenge on a score-hoarder. During wave 10 hack at the upper Reactor entrance, a certain Talon decided he would be cute and stand a few feet outside the hack circle to kill stuff coming up the stairs on the left. I hosed him with snap cheese and Disciple rounds and he may have finally got a clue after 30 seconds or so. Or not. When the hack ended he rushed into the Reactor to find more stuff to kill and he didn't leave

FINALLYAs in I joined a few pugs today and finally, finally, after days of some kind of karmic retribution, I had 3 matches where the other randoms were semi-competent and we actually completed extraction.

Played a match with a Kroguard and two Geth Troopers. At one point I actually managed to detonate one of my own explosions!
I've officially added Flamer onto my list along with Snap Freeze, Recon and Cain Trip Mines. No prizes for guessing what the list is about.

I'm running into a lot of good gold players whose names I don't recognize. I think ME3 is far from dead.
Started a U/U/G game, and no one showed up til wave 3. That Jugg was gone by wave 4, when a destroyer showed up. We duo'd to extraction. Long game, but classic.
A Drell popped in about 90 secs before extraction LOL.

Sigh.
I should know better. I really should. When there were only two people in the gold lobby and they are already readied up before I get there, I really should check their load-outs instead of just going for it. I still don't know what their loadouts looked like, but it probably would have given me an idea of what I was getting myself into. It felt like I spent the entire match keeping Hunters and Pyros off of the other three (last one joined wave 2), who all focused on the Primes ALL the time. Or just ran off by themselves and died.
Followed by: Smooth
Collectors/Giant/Gold. My Clamore QFI joined a Volus of some sort, a Shadow, and a GI on wave 3. A nice, smooth match with enemies melting before us. Even the hack in the open area to the right of the LZ went well, or at least as close to it as that hack can be.

Well. A bunch of ok-to-mediocre Gold matches. The highlight, or lowlight, was trying to kill a stupid a-bomb that was charging drunkenly around the lower level hack on Giant. IIRC this involved me shooting it, meleeing it, getting grabbed, getting ungrabbed, accidentally entering cover, accidentally leaving cover, trying to shoot it again, and generally a whole lot of the screen showing nothing but abomb facehumping until our Krogan heavy-meleed the twerp and he finally nukedetonated and put me on the deck. Sigh. That Krogan was a pro, BTW. Always returned melee spam with headbutts between rounds. Nice

Smooth.
At first there was the Geoff trifecta with a newbie Human Soldier. I was GT weapons build with flamer PPR, we had a Juggernaught who knew how to play, and a Geth Engineer who wasted no opportunity to set off explosions. Cerberus stood no chance. Afterwards, we went to Reactor and it was easy mode. Geth Trooper is the best tank in the game to me with such high damage potential and mobility. I just tap flamer long enough to prime or panic enemies and go to work with the PPR. It melts all things quickly. After that, we went to Dagger where once again we faced Cerberus and I went with my Volus Sentinel. Even managed to come in 2nd place thanks to the Wraith and some disruptor ammo. It's the only Volus I enjoy using. Lastly, the other two vets left so it was me and Demolisher on Hydra vs Geth. I chose QME Venom and went to town, despite having a Collector adept who didn't help with objectives we managed to do pretty well since our incendiary ammo and arc grenades kept spawns and primes in check.

Disgust After I was dumped and ended up being solo on Geth/Gold/Reactor a few waves in a Volus Adept joins and then a wave after that the Batarian-whichever-one-has-inferno-grenades. -Volus never shield boosts. I don't expect someone to be my pocket healer but that's like- idk- your squire not handing you your sword and shield when you mount your steed FFS. C'mon man. He never shield boosted One Single Time in the entire game. -The Batarian just ran off and died that was his MO. He did revive the Volus once but apparently the Batarian's credo was "I'll die alone". I was disgusted. I died and stayed d-e-d after trying to bail out the Volus in the midst of multiple geth bombers, a prime and hunters or pyros- eh either way it was a pile of angry geth and I just switched to Hulu after this.

In one word? Uh, Fuckingdicksuckingbullshit
Spent almost the entire day just trying to find a decent PUG match. You know, one where the lag wasn't so bad a cannibal could kill me with two bullets? Apparently that's just too much ask these days. Probably visited about 8 different matches, every single one ended in me rage-quiting.
I go to one match, my Vanguard refuses to ever charge. Gets killed in 1 second flat by a marauder, while at FULL HEALTH AND SHIELDS. Hop into another - immediately get gang banged by an abomination party as I spawn and then promptly eaten by the Praetorian that of course just had to be right fucking there. Try another match, get to wave 5 at least. Shoot a collector point blank in his head with the Claymore. Does three bars of damage. Doesn't even stagger him. He Stuns me while melee. I go down in one shot. Rage quit.
At this point, my will is broken and I'm about to flip the fuck out. I open up the console and enter the exit command because I want to stop playing this cheating fucking game right. now. The game closes. I sigh in relief and take a break. Oh but guess what now, fucker? Mass Effect is broken! Every time I launch multiplayer, the game crashes. It just got finished repairing on Origin as I typed all this out, so it should work now. But honestly, I'm so salty right now that I couldn't care whether it does or not.

Duo
Cerberus/Hydra/Gold. A PPR Destroyer and my Claymore QFI both scored around 140K. (we were maybe 5k total apart from each other) I don't think either of the others even managed 60k. The Destoryer and I both got silver revive medals. It was actually quite fun, though I don't usually to that well with the Claymore on such a big open map. And it's always amazing how playing with just one other good player and to terrible ones makes the game feel so much more relaxed than playing with even 3 semi-decent players. Just because I know that if I screw up and get synced, meh, he can handle it.
