He steadfastly refuses to melee between waves and puts the piercing mod on the ADAS, so I've ruled it out as an alt, but otherwise he's a solid teammate. Note to self: start doing this on my secret alts You ain't fooling anyone.

Reapers got rekted, ran a 16 min U/U/P on Glacier with full Incendiary/Reegar/Warp cheese, the host got disconnected or rage quit on wave 2, host migration and i got the host.
I never enjoyed Platinum on eckbawks but on PC i rather enjoy PUG Platinum, playing on 27' monitor and adjustable FOV did so much for survivability, so much that i disable all audio, mute everything and playing while browsing Youtube
I now have 120 hours on PC, only have Map Mastery and ubiquitous factions challenge because many U/U games so the points easily rack up

I remember in the old BSN there was a image that showed some random 6 pack guy for console gamers and a fat white obese man for PC gamers.
It just occurred to me after seeing that console peasant and PC nobleman image.
On topic:
Aids
Tfw a scion skips their animation and surprises you with a scion cannon shot that you cannot anticipate. The struggles of going off host. And this isn't the first time something like that happened except, I had it happen to me with an atlas when an atlas rocket just comes out of no where and instead came out of chest area in the atlas.

PS3PlatPugWarmup
Finally hooked up a console yesterday and finally got to play a few sessions since my move on Friday. Felt like an out of body experience with the Dual Shock 4, no surround sound headset, and being at a further distance from TV. Still, the two games I hosted were mission successful.

Boring
Glacier Hazard/Geth/Gold. Failed to extract on W11 because shot through a wall (for tradition's sake will blame Rocket Trooper #167,987,344) at 00:08
I guess I'm looking forward to Andromeda after all.

Hardworking FW with collectors. Lag was bad. I couldn't climb the bludy ladder with the pizza so I had to go around. The jug came to provide interference while the rest kept the zone clear.
Clueless The others were not totally kit out and had low grade weapons. They were following my lead, I wished I could tell them they should shoot the minions too instead of concentrating on my target. So often than not, they went down to them and all of us were preoccupied, half the time, geling one another. The match failed at wave 6.
Hopeless Glacier with collectors. The other two were not kit out and had low grade weapons. They went down during disable devices at wave 3. I went down 5 times in a row to collectors zooming in as I tried to disable the the third. The other guy, who I figure was kit out properly since he's leading, was at the other end of the map. The lag wasn't helping either so I quit.

Smooth
Took my level 14 TGI Chakram setup into a preset White/Geth/Plat with a brand new friend and two randos, and we got done in about 23 minutes. Doesn't get much better than that.

Fun I played with these guys for about 2 hours. Limited myself to peen-less classes that wouldn't suck the air out of the lobby. Was pleased with this and managed to screenshot it.

The gold pugs recently have been hilarious. Old players returning back to game to freshen it out before Andromeda, new players tasting waters before MEA, people hurrying to max their manifest before the servers shut down. Lots of people with mics, lots of people with console chat. I feel like it is back in the early days. Some nice lady from California was playing novaguard on host and we got Dagger Hazard with collectors. Wave 3 was a hack, so she madly cursed and charged away and of course, never came back. Not a newbie, no, not at all, actually pretty good player with good manifest. I asked why she were not doing objectives and she said that she does not care and that I should find another lobby, so I left. The young lady sounded a bit intoxicated if you ask me. But what do I know. Another game had me wondering as there was a player VacaNeon from NZ who played the most excellent GE with raider basically wrecking the house. A rare combination that worked very well. As I understood from the chat, returning to check it out before MEA. I thought it is MPApr's alt, I asked, no, does not know MPApr2012. Some obnoxious score-whoring host named RuinedCross had harrier demolisher patiently waiting for enemies to get softened up a bit and then unleashed all grenades to get most kills and madly happy about it. Complained that I was standing in front of him and he cannot throw grenades normally. Like I know who is there behind me, I aint got no eyes on my back. We continued console chat bickering in the lobby and everyone eventually left but him. Another curious pug was obnoxious recon mine spamming Drellfiltrator (nick EndBad or something similar) who just could not stop detonating the mines. He died a lot and did very little damage. Well, no surprise here as it is hard to see anything in that smoke. Fortunately, there was a juggernaut in the area where they were camping who probably got a gold revive medal by wave 6. I dropped on wave 2 of a blazing fast game in progress on Rio against collectors with my smashdept and there was another smashdept there hosting. Things exploded a lot, it was essentially a duo as other two pugs were not very active. It was an 18 minute game and we both got 75 kills somewhere around wave 8. The host probably got his 75 kills earlier, not sure. Considering that Rio collectors is usually a struggle unless there are some good grenadiers, that is actually rather nice. I could not stand so much entertainment and had to limit myself for the night. I hope tomorrow the show continues. PowerDandy and Tecdet are such nice guys after all.

Weird but almost normal.
It was a quite usual gold pug game. Took my Cabal for a spin after a while. Competent players who know what they doing. Glacier H/Reapers under 18 mins. Nothing interesting here except one thing. The amount of credits given after the match was somehow x12 more than the standard. I have a "luck" to land into this sort of lobbies. But thanks to the host for helping me maxing out my manifest.
I call it a night.

Revives
Gold/Reapers/London
Typical characters - a TGI, Juggernaut, and Destroyer, along with my Cabal. Most of it went well, but the wave 10 center hack was not nice. And the Juggernaut didn't understand that reviving people under a banshee was bad. Twice I had to nuke a banshee to save the newly revived TGI mid sync.

Glad to hear VacaNeon's playing again, a competent player indeed. Their memory could have served them a bit better though hehe while not on the FL we had played an odd game here and there... found this in the archive, VacaNeon, ProdigalRevan and meself goofing around on Jade
EDIT: Back onto the rails, - IAlwaysAssumeReallyBadLag... i'm not a good carrier, lost them during the extraction they were reasonably new, or their accounts were and i'm sure were struggling on my host... after this i did contemplate going back to doing themed solos but then Vormav pinged me in Origin - no ragequit solo evening for me, at least not yesterday

Tense Playing Collectors on PS3 is never relaxing because of fears of crashing, but I survived a successful 45 minute slog against them on Giant as part of a supremely dysfunctional trio - myself as a GI/GPSMG (not specced for Geth weapon damage), a Talon/Lancer with Cryo ammo and no piercing capability, and a host who had switched from a very iffy Collector to something I forget already but he was using a Revenant (without stability or piercing) and Targeting VI. I had to clutch most of wave 4, but everything was actually pretty smooth until wave 10, when we got devices and the third one turned into a clusterfuck down by the bottom of the map. I'd done the first two and the host went for the third but got downed. I went to revive him but the Omnibutton had me doing the device instead. I stopped, started to revive him, got downed, gelled into a Praetorian and he got stomped. The Talon took over, kiting the enemies to the LZ, did the devices - including the last one in the tricky spot near the LZ, and then began the slow process of picking enemies off one by one. I never like to criticize players who are clutching waves, because unlike me they are at least still alive. That said, and while still giving credit where it's due as he did get us through the wave, it beggars belief that someone with an N7 rank of around 2.5k hasn't figured out Praetorian bubble mechanics. I know that in the heat of battle we all might trigger it occasionally, but this was just incessant. I think it took him 15 minutes to finish off the last two Praetorians and Scion. But looking on the bright side, he survived getting skewered once and it wasn't that he was saving his missiles for the extraction wave, which was what was going through my mind as a possibility. And we didn't freeze

woops First game of the day for me and apparently I wasn't all together with it. Preset White/Cerb/Plat for my GI Talon/GPS I'm trying to get a reasonably quick solo with. Went about my routine of working the hall and rooms at the back, neglecting the turret tombstone valley that is the LZ, when I start to see messages coming up of other players dropping like flies. (Obviously, I forgot to set it to private). Several ops packs and gels later, one pug is stomped and I managed to get the other off of the LZ (why didn't I leave them and regroup for the next wave?). At this point I'm starting to get self-conscious about my connection, as I'd never usually host a public lobby at this time of day, and I'm seeing people hop around a bit. And then @meetyournanny joins with a glorious TSent/Arc pistol combo, and I forget about the issues and proceed to have an enjoyable match. GG, and thanks for sticking it out!

OT: Show-off. It's not often I assume such a role, but the Paladin brings out the worst in me. I had another Paladin in the team, using a Saber IV and Hurricane V, I think, compared to my Hurricane II, over two games on Hydra and Condor. Neither of us was host but one of us came first and the other fourth, both times. All I'll say is the guy in fourth really didn't need that Saber. Seriously though, I couldn't give a crap about score and I was capping, kiting and reviving as necessary. But the Paladin. Seriously. Every time I play him I feel a little dizzy
