Today was a bad day to pug.

First game: controls fucked up. Ninjajoined andy_3_913 and Goldarm for that one.

Second game: Controls restored, but sadly only 2 or 3 waves. Andy and goldie left after that one sadly.

Third game: Invisible enemies. Geth to be exact. Yuck.

Fourth game: Wipe on w8. Against geth. The most shamefur fact though: I was playing TSent. With Highlord.

I always find it funny how unique combination of RNG and PUGs can fuck up every part of this game that I like. 
Still rolling my new alt account.

First match: Slapped Mantis on the GI and landed in a lobby, which is nice to see for a change since I don't recall when was the last time I landed in a lobby. Therefore I didn't look on teammates instead just readied up. Nice game actually, we got Reactor/Geth/Gold. Apart from some douchebag spamming the shit outta electric slash (and you can guess what was their score), but ES only messed with me on W10 upload.

Second match: Same kit. Landed in GiP Glacier/Cerberus/Gold. The host was vanilla human adept with playstyle consisting of casting singularity and spamming shockwave regardless if there are any enemies. Tried to avoid them, but it was almost impossible as they were shockwaving all the things all the time. 

Third match: Maybe GI+Mantis just attracts this stuff? Switch to QFI+Widow. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand, guess what? 


Fourth match: Maybe it is just my luck? So I decide to roll with it and roll my short range kit that doesn't care about screenshake: human infiltrator with a freshly unlocked Raider II. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, guess what?
Apart from getting trolled by the RNG, you can see the PUGs taking a job of killing stuff even tho they aren't any good at it while letting us two drag that damn thing across Rio.

Needless to say, rage quitted before rage gelling for the 4th time on W8 IIRC.



On the positive side: Unlocked Geth Engineer and Scorpion from one session in the store (Arsenal + Spectre pack). Guess who's gonna be the screenshaker now?

Nothing too memorable...

Glacier/Hazard/Gold/Cerb A Turian infil, Krogan warlord, a human infil and myself as a destroyer....we was doing really well up until wave 8....always something about that wave 8! Anyway that Turian was headshotting everything with a harrier...but he got waxed by a phantom and so did everybody else. So i normally run with a Typhoon and the scorpion as a sidearm specifically for phantoms, but i didn't think i was going to last on such a small map being terrorized by dragoons and multiple phantoms/atlas.

Long story short. i somehow managed to kite the phantoms/dragoons setting boobytraps with the scorpion and firing off frag grenades at the same time and frantically switching to the typhoon taking care of engineers and turrets....i only used a couple of ops packs when all was said and done...

After i cleared the wave, it must've set a newfound fire within that turian because he murdered everything after that from that moment on....i could've made a sandwich and had a quickie with the wifey and still would have made it to extraction...gg....

Useful!

It's always nice playing with PUG's who know how to trigger combo's, play the objective and oh yeah, revive downed team mates! Literally lost count of the PUG's who have ran over my corpse, could easily have revived me and then died attempting to kill the thing that killed me!

Striker

Decided to use the Striker for the 1st time in ages for some challenges. I don't remember it being so damn good. I've always liked the feel of the gun and the sound it makes but remember it as being very unstable after you ramp up the fire rate. Vs Cerberus where phantom Dragoons have always been my nemesis (I make no apologies for the puns!) Put it on a Batarian solider with all the stabilizing gear I could find and it was purely awesome. Constant stagger on those whip wielding jerks. I don't think one even got close to me. I'll be using that gun much more often.

Couldn't find a game so I started my own, and ended up having 4 successful missions with more or less the same squad, including FireRacer2016 as a Jugg and bv303 as a Vorcha Soldier, accompanying my Claymore Krentinel. Sadly they didn't melee back between waves. We also had another but he didn't help with a wave 6 hack on Ghost so I proceeded to headbutt him out of the game after we got the credits.

I've bumped into that person a few times, do they post here?

No, not as far as I know. I sometimes wonder if it's a relative of FireRider100 though, which is partly why I posted the name. Plays a Jugg most of, if not all the time. He steadfastly refuses to melee between waves and puts the piercing mod on the ADAS, so I've ruled it out as an alt, but otherwise he's a solid teammate.

I don't normally complain about anything but today the pugs are awful for me, laggy as hell, hosts not doing objectives, nobody doing objectives, hosts quitting on wave 2, some crazy geth bs and rubberbanding. Working as intended. And I managed to finally finish one game after 4 host migrations with Turian soldier with tempest. It was 33 minutes and I scored 270K and it was horrible. After last two host migrations (wave 7 and another wave 7), I had no consumables and Turian stability was glitching.

Confusing... I guess?

Well, nothing really that interesting. I pugged a couple of gold matches. It was pretty normal apart from that you could run with pizza normally, without any effort and cloak while doing this Couldn't notice any other "mods" though.

At least every single game was under 19-20 mins and playing off-host was like being the host so that's unusual for me haha

PS. By the way... I died on bronze while hosting... I leave it at that
