Gen and me decided to do a gold duo ( we never did that before). It was Glacier hazard (not the best map for the first duo but what can you do...) and it was Cerberus. Gen took Asari vanguard for the walk i had my Huntress . All in all a tense game; its a small map u have that annoying swarm so there is not much space for maneuvering.... Gen did more then good revived my naaby arse more then half a dozen times and scored more then 177 k i was around 202 k (due to rage rocketing). Anyways we got wiped on the extraction wave... i made it to the lz tbh and had 2 gels left but didnt want to extract without her.

Looking forward to a gold duo on a bigger map where we can outrun and outmanuever the proverbial bad guys.. something like giant for example

Useless

The time for my games is slowly dwindling, so I decided to finish some challenges dear to my heart. One of them is 200 waves with batsol. To this effect, I pulled the old scumbag out again and equipped him with Raider, shotgun amp I, AP III and AM III. Nothing too cheesy, right?

Had I known what the fate had in store for me, I'd pull out Incendiary Reegar and Power Amp IV, no shame whatsoever. This was a game I only heard of so far. Got joined by level one krolord with Disciple III and a sidearm I forgot, volus engie with Saber II and Executioner I and a HFA with N7 1, brand new Valiant and a Predator.

What followed was a most excruciating 40 minutes so far and I've had some mileage. The adept had the sense to leave halfway through wave four, but those two chuckleheads... no missiles were used, no gels, no ops packs, mostly ignoring objectives... pretty much no killing was done whatsoever and I'm pretty sure I saw couple of Dragoons dying from laughing so hard. In the end, the game lasted 37 minutes and a change, my batarian bled for them and in the end, these two earned the somewhat dubious honour of being the first two guys to land on my blocklist.



I don't feel bad whatsoever for name shaming... they deserved it. If anybody on PS3 sees them, avoid like plague. Pretty much a pug you don't believe exist until you run into them.

Highlight of the game: I got out of Phantom's sync kill by exploding blades. That was worth slogging ten waves through, just to imagine the surprised look on the bitch's face when that happened. One more reason to love batsol.

Pugs...being...pugs....

I drop into a lobby with two low-level pugs and one is the host. Another decent looking Juggy player joins and we ready up. We get Giant/Cerb/Gold. The host is Collector and the other guy was a female human infil?....So long story short, me and the juggy are doing the heavy lifting with the other two pugs dying left and right. We are reviving when we could, but these guys was not reviving when we could not get to them. Ok fine...me and the juggy was doing a decent job without their help and they was probably just setting up a lobby waiting for experienced players to come through.

So we get to wave 9 and these guys are getting slaughtered....Juggy went down a couple of times too from vicious phantom,dragoon and Atlas attacks...i too had my hands full at times dealing with phantoms, dragoons and running into turrets....but then the host just decides to leave.... .....i still had most of my med-gel and while it was getting tough, the game was nowhere near to being lost....i could have stayed and loaded back into the game, but whenever the host leaves the game that far into it, i just lose interest and i left the game as well....LAME!...

Modded.

Tons of cerberus troops. Ok, they're canon fodder. Boop boop boop boop. Oh cool, my ammo clip just went up to 300. I don't need to run for ammo.

Wave 2. Tons of cerberus troops. boop boop boop boop. Booomf. Wait. What? Booomf. wtf, is that waves of geth rocket troopers? Booomf. I'm outta here.

Flabbergasted

Question: how much time does a BotB Hurricane GI need to kill a banshee on Gold?
Answer: 23 laps on Dagger hazard, before getting hugged.

My krosent was out of gels, so I had a first row seat to watching it. It was... painful to watch, let me tell you as much. Wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself. Seeing the guy finally getting skewered was therapeutical on so many levels.

PUGLY

So, my friend Mike and I decided to pug some gold. It went okay the first two games; we picked up a couple weak players but at least they tried and stuck around for objectives. We didn't mind carrying them.

But then some chick joined the lobby who was all sorts of hyper. From the moment she joined the lobby she was handing out kick votes to players, even though she had her gear all wrong herself. (Using AR amp III with an Executioner pistol). The first game with her went okay-ish, though she was hiding in a corner by herself and being generally pretty useless. The second game went tits up on wave 8, Collectors on Dagger hazard. We should have known by then she was useless and we should have kicked her. But we weren't getting many players so we stuck with her because Mike doesn't seem to like to kick people. Meanwhile, she kept messaging us with all sorts of all-caps messages, including ones where she said gold was boring and we should set the lobby to platinum. This kind of puzzled me because she wasn't doing well at all.

Now my friend Mike is the kind of player who's a bit too good for this world. Sometimes he'll run all the way across the map to revive someone even if he or she is not really contributing. This often costs him a lot of his own consumables. This also happened in the last game we played. It all went wrong on waves 9 and 10. I got caught in a bad spot and lost my last 4 gels in what must have been under 30 seconds, and Mike too. So we had to watch how miss "GOLD B BORING, PUT PLAT!!!111!!1" cowered in a corner and took five minutes to kill one Phantom and one Atlas. We managed to extract, but after that game Mike was so frustrated that he didn't want to play any more. =(  Then he told me she'd been messaging him about wanting to cheat on platinum. (I'm assuming missile glitching or whatever). Man, that was terrible, and I felt bad for Mike.

After that though, DistigousForest came online and we had our first UUG game together, which was Geth on Glacier hazard. It was a smooth and enjoyable experience, a breath of fresh air after all that happened. =)

Well, after some yesterday and a bunch today, I'd have to say it's pretty slim pickings out there, even in Silver.

I blame all of you for playing ME:A.

Rage

Not at the team though! Landed in a lobby of new accounts, we get goddess collectors and honestly I thought I was going to have to do some carrying. But the team stayed together, we looked our for each other, always revived. Messy wave 6 devices were totally redeemed by a fantastic wave 8 (which is usually the death knell of inexperienced teams); wave 10 rolls around, only two of us are left standing to clean up, and just as we kill the last scion and I can hear the others reviving... the game crashes
So I raged, raged against the dying of ME3. I won't go gentle into that other galaxy!
I don't really need the extraction credits anymore, but it would have been nice to extract with the others! Sorry I left, it really wasn't my choice!

Smooth
Went for one more match, ended in a gip, dagger hazard cerberus. Almost left as I saw that, but I figured why not. Ended up being a smooth, fun game full of biotic explosions, and a good way to end my shift for the day

Leech.

My friend and I decided to play a couple of games. She needed a few challenge points for her Predator. So she's set the lobby to bronze and we proceeded. Unfortunately we forgot to change our lobby to private. After a few waves we encountered this guy/gal.



It was a bot. It camped almost whole match in that spot, sporadically shooting its Suppressor. Enemies were ignoring it. It didn't move an inch towards EZ. Surprisingly we got full extraction haha.



What can I say. It's pathetic, isn't it? If you want to max out your manifest, just play damn bronze solo which give you 500 milion credits. Avoid that leech.
