While extremely rare, I've been in one or two games that seemed like a modded lobby, but only applied to me. The most memorable was as an Asari Commando Adept I dropped into GiP on Hazard Ghost vs Geth, and soon discovered that I was immortal, and my Biotic Explosions would kill Primes in a single cast. Somehow this only applied to me, as even the host went down numerous times. Oooo slightly spooky - it was indeed Hazard Ghost. Don't suppose that means anything though. I've dropped into modded lobbies before (my first experience of horde mode on plat was a memorable occasion and then there was the time my TSent's overload seemed to go round the whole map with a very large bang) but never experienced demi- god-hood by myself before. Well certain maps do tend to be more glitch-prone than others. Hazard Ghost, Condor, Hazard Reactor come to mind as among the most problematic ones. A key feature to look for is unable to use a ladder, and when enemies use it, they just pause for two seconds in front of it and then teleport to the top. There are, of course, other things that can go wrong, such as being unable to take hard cover, and objective timers being off by ~5 seconds, but that's like the most common one. |

Why!? Not my last pug, but I was playing some matches with TornACL and SassaMFG, when TornACL couldn't load into a match and was replaced by a leecher who managed to go 3 waves scoring 0 points just standing still and dying. That's odd, I played two games with him too tonight, but he did ok for a PUG. He even geled, used missiles here and then, revived others and helped with objectives. Was playing a Tsent and overloaded all the armor, though  |

Let me tell you..... The Level 14 off host Slayer with the level 2 locust, cryo rounds, using a level 1 pistol amp combined with the Warfighter package....his 9k total points were invaluable to the team.  |

The ladders thing seems to happen to me most on White and Reactor but maybe that's because I have pre-planned escape routes which involve ladders and I notice it. The hard cover thing is also annoying but as I play mostly in soft cover these days, less of an aggravation though there are always times when you really, really need to get out of the line of fire and you can't get to the '6' key quick enough. |

Dropped GiP into a White/Reapers match hosted by a Black Widow Volus who'd started the game solo, as ascertained by his score compared to the rest of us. I was greeted by an army of Husks and Cannibals, who immediately gave me a group hug and started to nom my face. I let them, so I could spectate the pugs.
Wave 2 I surpassed the host's score, and starting on Wave 3, stuff started teleporting all over the screen. The lag was atrocious. I told him to turn off his porn stream. The lag stopped. I said thank you. He left the game.

Finally a sweet one. my Krosol joined a GIP reapers/Giant/gold wave 2, to find only one player Thekmpeter's asariguard. We duoed the game just as you would wish it to go. Finished with equal kill points. Nice!

Lone survivor once again. That nasty goons, phantoms and atlasrockets on dagger during extraction. Still love them pugs beeing stingy with rockets during objectives, firing them into the first spawn on wave 11 instead and going down right after that.

Giant/Reapers/Gold preset, lag, his destroyer camping the landing zone, not helping with objectives, not reviving others despite them right next to him. I'm afraid noone ever told him that there are other kits, other maps and other enemies and objectives are meant to be done together as far as possible. He rockets spawns and cause them to respawn in the objectives path. Standing right outside the hacking circle. And all that for years now. Every single time I land in his games. [X]

Dropped GiP into Wave 5 Ghost/Cerberus with 3 other players. One of them dropped out shortly thereafter, maybe someone who has me on a Ragelist? Well Wave 6 started, it was Devicesx4. I started the first one, got Dragoon Rush so I stepped off the device to fight back, the other two pugs were camping the bottom floor room next to the ammo box. Stuff was still spawning right across the street from me, and I wasn't getting any help, so I went over there to help them scorewhore.
With 2 minutes to go, and not a single device activated yet, they realized that I was now 1st on the board, so they started doing the devices. They didn't get them done in time. Wave 6 failed, out of time.
Back in the lobby, I told them GG.
UPDATE: After shitposting about them here on BSNuf, I dropped into their lobby. I greeted them with "hey alright let's go do some devices!"
We're still sitting here, not sure what's going on.
UPDATE 2: Host sat in the corner all of Wave 3 and watched me rape Banshees, then quit as soon as I finished the 4th one so that I would have to rape 4 more after the migration. I held the line and help arrived, not sure the spelling but something like ptrecel and I think he is a BSN'er so GG dude

Dropped GiP on Wave 5 to Glacier/Geth game, hack on Wave 6 in the upper room and the host was down by the LZ happily fighting spawns all by himself. When his Prime was down to 2 Armor Bars, I shot through the window and stole it from him. He nuked every spawn from 8-10, and several of 11 as well. Once his supply was exhausted, I unloaded all 6 of mine, topped his score, thanked him for flying Kirrahe Airlines, then went into the kitchen to see how my fresh homebaked bread is coming along for hamburgers at 8:00.
I make a ketchup puddle on my plate to dip them in, even when there is ketchup on the burger. There's never enough ketchup.
