Geth-bullshit

Managed to get quite a few number of games in this evening. However I wanted to take my justicar and every game I landed in was almost always preset to geth or a game in progress against geth. Reave's damage reduction won't work on them and with all the staggering geth bullshit my justicar always has a rather difficult time against those toasters. I eventually switched to cabal since I only needed to finish one match with her to complete her 200 waves thus completing commando mastery once again. I should have known that pugging with the cabal would suck but I didn't care. What I did care about was the fact once again every game I landed it was always geth dammit. One match I happened to land in was cerberus for a change but the lag was so bad I eventually had to bail. There was also a good number of scrub kits tonight such as snap cheezers, EDI bots, and TGI harriers. I managed to land in a lobby with a good host connection though and had the best couple matches of the night. I even switched back to my justicar and happened to get a game against reapers which was no problem for her. Took the huntress in the next game but happened to get geth (AARRRRGH) but the game surprisingly went well. Called it a night.

I don't know why I seem to run into the guys that want to tell stories. It's either that, or they're high, sometimes both. PUGging aint easy, ya know?

WHY

I searched for a random match, dropped GiP into Wave 1 Dagger/Geth, with a TGI host. The game literally hadn't even started yet.

He went down on the first spawn and ragequit. Why even bother starting the match solo if you can't even survive the first spawn as a TGI?

I didn't feel like playing Dagger again anyway.

WHYNOT

Dropped into another Wave 1 GiP, this time Rio/Reapers/Gold, hosted by a Quarian Infiltrator with Widow who sat in his box the entire time and had all of about 6k points by the time I soloed Wave 10 for him. I asked him how far he thought he would have gotten if I hadn't've shown up, he said he didn't know because he hasn't played for a while.

JohnBurrows dropped in, saw what was happening, and wisely dropped right back out again.  Sup buddy?

Then I joined an ACTUAL LOBBY full of N7 23-ish types with no equipment whatsoever. I took all of mine off and readied up with them. We got Collectors/Hazard Reactor, which went about as well as I'd hoped it would. Miraculously, the team survived Wave 1, but I cooked us all on Wave 2, and only the Krolord gelled. I was then treated to a 20 minute epic showdown between the Krolord, and the only remaining enemy, a not-possessed Scion. He plinked away at it with his piranha from halfway across the map, lured it through the reactor 3 times, and then finally gave up and let it shoot him to death.

Jade/Cerberus/Gold with a pretty good team, but apparently connecting into the U.S. from China via VPN is not a smart move at all. Game went quite ok though the rubberbanding alone had epic proportions. When I tried to deliver the second pizza on wave 6, EA servers decided they´d seen enough and removed my PC from the ME universe .

NewPlayerSmell

White/Cerb/Gold. Myself and one other relatively experienced player (Asari adept) joined the game on wave one and effectively duo'd most of the game. The last PuG bled out with about five seconds to go (myself and the Asari were stomped after being extraction Dragoon/Phantom trolled with no gel left), having camped extraction with the other like-new player (and only survived that long because the mobs had been pulled away). At one point, during wave 10 devices, I watched as two other (non-Asari) players appeared to make the conscious decision to join me on a device....

When we got back to the lobby I stuck around long enough to see that the two players were likely returning from long absences (highish N7, ~1000 CP or less). It's the only thing that makes sense to me, as anyone who had played half a dozen games on Bronze would have more sense than they showed.

Thanks to BeyondxNinja (the Asari) for helping us get as far as we did. I've never seen them post on either BSN board (maybe Reddit), but credit where it's due.

I hate when there's a lobby you don't want to be in, and since it keeps sending you back there, you have no choice but being better off waiting and shitposting on BSN instead.
