I don’t see her in your post. As for squad, we’ll my favorite squad mate was Legion so I know he won’t be back, but yeah our baby boy Grunt is up there. She is in my post. Remember her changing her name in ME3? You’re right. I just assumed with Cerberus gone there’d be no need for the alias that was never used in our conversations with her.

Humm, For New characters to potentially replace Legion. True I do need to develop but I have 3 Geth inspired from ME3mp.
Blue: A Blue Armored Geth Juggernaut. Personality wise: He is a firm brave front line leader often would give good ideas to get to the objective. Yeah he is bit underdeveloped.
Hunter: A Black and Red Geth Hunter that makes Blue look emotive and known for his intensive stoicism is borderline creepiness and overall effective assassin.
Barney: A Purple and Green Geth Engineer with the closest thing with an actual sense of humor and wanting to understand Organic and their respective culture. So he is bit of a Scholar and a Diplomat of the Geth.

In Universe, He was given that name by a bunch of children that was watching re-runs of Barney the Purple at a colony before the Collectors attack. So He joins the Fight against the Reapers whenever he can and will ask for stopping the Collectors doubly so. He is the closet thing to a Geth version of a Paragon could be without becoming an organic himself. Barney is the type of geth would work as either a Player Character or a NPC. Geth Trooper named Prime is a sever blood knight version of a Geth Trooper. Yes he loves to fight anyone and anything.

Many of them are genuine good shows. Barney the Purple Geth is the type of gentle giant(he is tall compared to little children)

Bioware has lost good writers. Recent games showcase that. They either focused on games with weak to no stories, like Anthem, or the story they made was weak, like Andromeda. The writers they do have are too woke and involved in current politics and essentially fan-fic making of characters. Ryder is best example. Not only can he never, ever, whatsoever be a hardass, but even when played as a logical man, which is the closest thing to "hardass" you'll ever get the cutscenes still render Ryder into a weak, simpering fool unfit to be a leader of a pack of puppies nevermind warriors. The writers inserted themselves too much into him and made him one faceted. There are so many times in the game where other characters show not only blatant disrespect, but also humiliation or insults of dead family members. There are more than plenty of cases where a hard right hook or a round in the kneecaps would suffice. Where some backbone in dialogue would do well. On top of that Bioware will almost certainly paint the game trough the current socio-political lense. Did you guys know racism is bad? Huh? Batarian bastards? No, no, that's a mean word, can't have a character with prejudice or bad history with someone. The main bad guy will still be some "cosmic threat" that is "too large or great for you to understand" with deep voice filled with smugness. Krogan will breed a thousand young per year, and each of those will breed a thousand a year in a few years leading to a population in billions in a few years but that is not a problem. Yeah, it's perfectly reasonable to bring Krogan and breed them without limits. What could possibly go wrong. Clearly they'll just keep each other in check by killing each other in billions and trillions. That is so much more humane than poor little eggs not being fertilized. Oh did I say eggs. I meant live young. Who'd care for eggs, right. One or two kids a year is horrible, practically a genocide. How can you really expect Krogan to be civilized and not kill each other when you give them normal reproduction suitable for galaxy that would allow them to thrive rather than destroy every planet they settle on if they simply bothered to live normally. Genophage is bad and you should feel bad for fixing it. Bioware will solve your moral quandry. They are interested in lecturing, rather than presenting a story with choices. They are also too cowardly to pick a cannon ending to bring back Shepard and too bad with writing to make an interesting James Bond-esque protagonist on their own. It offends too many sensibilities. Once again: Thank you.

You sound perfectly well adjusted, with a keen eye for conversation, discussion and argumentation. Meh, I ignore whatever that guy says. It's usually just a bunch of whining anyway (which is funny because he, and others like him, accuse others on here of the exact same thing. How's that for irony?). IKR?

The ending is terrible and it needs to be rewritten according to my exact specifications. Bioware's writers have no clue what they're doing, so I'm going to feel the need to take control of the situation personally to make sure everything goes according to what I want, because I know the franchise better than they do. I won't rest until Bioware gives me what I want. I will not take no for an answer. Fixed that for you. See there, ladies and gentlemen? This is the prime example of a "hardcore fan" who slanders anyone who criticize a game. No wonder BioWare is in the state there in, because of that.

Have them survive the red, but as time moves on, they start losing that code thing and eventually end up like they were before the code. Have where it was cured, but because it didn't have enough time to give it a full test, instead one out one thousand survive, it's 3,4 or 5 out one thousand that survive. Obviously Solas, Legion and Krios are gone. The sad news Massani won't return because his va, Robin Sachs(RIP), died years ago. Look at Goto. She won't return because she wants nothing more to do with big crazy end-of-the-galaxy thing. Taylor will be a father, and would want to stay to help raise the kid. Grunt will likely want to recruit and train new members for his platoon. Because of the red, the platform will go back to being a hologram. Javik will head to Thessia and teach the asari what their history really is. He eventually will become ruler and change the planets name to Prothia. Vega will likely want to see if he can get into the N7 program once it's rebuilt. He may even help them rebuild. He would also want to know about his uncle. Samara will stay with her daughter on Thessia. Lawson and Jack can be added to the roster. So that would put A/K, Vakarian, Tali, t'soni, Jack, Lawson. Basically all the LI squadmates. The crew wouldn't be hard. Traynor, Adams, Chakwas, Ken and Gabby, Felicia Hannigan, The Honorable Mr.Rupert Gardner, Moreau will return. Like that won't happen no matter what Bioware chooses to do. Overall, the guy did say the details have been lost over time. That's Bioware's get-out-of-jail-free card. They could do a remake if they really wanted with someone else telling the story to some kid. Bioware put that scene in for reason. Of course it doesn't mean they have to bring Shepard back or have a game with another main character in the Milky Way after the events of ME3. This scenario is terrible. Not only does it undo pretty much all of my choices, but the crew has all my favorite members and LI gone while only having those I'm indifferent towards or straight up don't like. Hey, it's not our fault you chose poorly.

Sadly, yes. That said, Miranda ended up coming out a lot better after the Citadel DLC, so all was right in my world. And that's all that really matters. Jack and Miranda not being on the ship, or available as squadmates, really puts a damper in my enjoyment. I've said it before; on launch, on release, or bust. Bioware had spit a lot on my face, by the time of Citadel, to forgive that behaviour and I couldn't support it, or the practice of it. ME3 needed another 2 years of work, to be good.

The next Mass Effect (if it ever comes out) will fail harder because Bioware has been getting worse. ME3's ending started it (and no matter how much you defend it, it is objectively bad) and it has spiralled in to a laughable product in Andromeda (the animations are a meme but that's a small facet in a game that has a bland story, riddled with socio-political garbage and boring characters) and an even more laughably implemented product in Anthem.

I think it actually started with ME2, where the story and setting took a backseat to shooting mechanics (the game tried WAY to hard to be Gears of War) and the entire ME1 storyline of an ancient threat returning to the galaxy was pretty much jettisoned in favor of gunning down random mercs. Sure the characters were compelling, but 1) there were too many of them, ironic given how most of them were shelved for ME3 and 2) interaction between these characters was virtually nonexistant.

I think it actually started with ME2, where the story and setting took a backseat to shooting mechanics I disagree with that. I think, if I recall correctly, in one of the early post ME1 interviews, Casey had said that ME allowed them to tell any kind of story. You can make a story where the crew is the story. the entire ME1 storyline of an ancient threat returning to the galaxy was pretty much jettisoned in favor of gunning down random mercs I don't think it took a back seat and I'd argue that ME2 utilized the Reapers in the most effective way, slowly having a revelation about them, while their Machiavellian plot played in the background, triggering the events of the game. Which is what the super sophisticated AIs would be doing. Sure the characters were compelling, but 1) there were too many of them, ironic given how most of them were shelved for ME3 and 2) interaction between these characters was virtually nonexistant. I don't think the extended crew was a hindrance. NWN2 had a large, expanded cast like ME2 and I did like NWN2 OC better than NWN1 OC. In fact, I liked NWN2 better in general, regardless and that had more content for the party members and interactions between them. So it's not an issue of "can't be done" or "hasn't been done before". It can and it has. It's Bioware that didn't do it. Bioware games, for over a decade, have been bogged down by Bioware not going the extra mile, sometimes even at the cusp of greatness, but never etching that extra mile. They needed to do more, sure. But that's true of all Bioware games.
