About other characters, I want to see at least Sten, Zevran, Fenris and Merrill for story reasons besides Dorian or Morrigan who are a given. As for other Companions return: I would like to see Isabela (Rivian), Fenris (see comics), Bethany (but that is very unlikely), Shale (even when shale wasn't for me) and Zevran (Antiva). Aditionaly the warden that isn't stuck in the fade.(Only an NPC don't have to say anythink. Or an explanation why the person isn't there.) The one that are a given: Varric and Solas.

I'd like an update on whoever is the new Divine (preferably with some actual differences in how the Chantry is operating depending on the choice). I'd also hope that the Well of Sorrows will factor in somehow, though if Morrigan doesn't appear, then I'm guessing it's not a major plot point.

I'd love to know what Valta, Calpernia, Josephine, Feynriel and Merrill are up to. An appearance would be great, but I'd also be satisfied with them being mentioned. I think a cameo of some obscure minor character I don't even think about would be fun too.

I think a cameo of some obscure minor character I don't even think about would be fun too. Those are most fun and interessting ones. Like i previously mentioned i kinda want to see a now grown and therefore adult Bevin who as adventurerer fights with his trusty Green Blade. To be bad that Javaris can be killed for some stupid reason because yeah for some weird reasons i love to see him again.

Its a pity to hear that it seems Claudia Black is not returning. Hopefully they called her back after she tweeted that. Wait, WHAT?! Is this a joke??? How old is that tweet? That's crazy. I mean, seriously, she's carrying Mythal around, how would she NOT be important in DAV?? I'm very confused right now. If that's true I might as well not buy the game tbh. |

Maybe one of them an aditional romance option? 8 would make more sense then 7 in my eyes.

Right Cole would be neat but i kinda doubt that he returns. Sure his spirit fate could work but i don´t see human Cole in Veilguard.
Perhabs he had even survived Morrigans knife somehow but this could be a bit too much if he also is a character who can survived fatal attacks.
Maybe you are lucky but to be honest i don´t see him in the game because of his optional death. Otherwise sure Nobrainer he would be in it.

Because bioware handled hawke abominably in inquisition and I don’t want them doing the same to romanced Isabela. just because a character is originally from rivain doesn’t make a cameo warranted.

Sure it´s not impossible and that she can´t die is a major plus point but to be honest she doesn´t make much sense to be in Northern Thedas. Maybe the Free Marches but not in a wartorn Tevinter or Antiva. But speaking of Origins i would love to see what happened to Valora (Soris fiancée)from the City Elf Origin.
Edit: Great pick by the way i really love that fans like yourself are mention those much lesser known characters.  I find it a bit boring that some people only mention the most known characters in such threads.

Yeah Idk what she would want in northern Thedas, realistically I thought more along the lines of finding her "spirit" or her diary in the Fade or something, potentially telling us what happened at the mage prison.
Now Valora is one of those characters I definitely would never have thought about again. It's really great when one of those pops up in a later game and you're like 'hey wait, I know them from somewhere'.
