Baldur's Gate III - Spoiler Edition (please read updated OP)

Yay, another CC simulator to play around for 2 days...

Srsly, considering how good D:OS1 and 2 turned to be, i'm really thinking in buying this game (even if i don't have previous experience about the series)

That CC looks bonkers good.

I usually avoid Early Access like the plague. I do not want to "help" developers make their game and pay for the privilege, but damn. This whole thing is looking really interesting, so far.

I know, even among the core classes I wrestle with it...!

Oddly enough, I've never been a big fan of the Ranger. They're a bit too laser focussed for me, though I understand they're making changes for the game.

My problem is, I've just finished a 250+ hour PT of RDR2 and a 20-something one of Control (which is bloody great, by the way).  I'm tinkering around with Watch Dogs 2 (got it for free in the Ubisoft Forward thing a couple of months ago) and it's OK.  But the other games I've got on the go are a 2nd PT of Odyssey, a 4th PT of TW3 and a 6th PT of DAI and while I'd be perfectly happy going back to any of those three...this looks really, really good.

On the other hand, Early Access on PC means - almost certainly - bugs galore.  And I hate bugs with a passion.  It's why I usually wait at least 3-6 months after release (full release) before buying and playing a game.

Back to the first hand...this looks really, really good.

Oh man...yes. I didn't mention RT in my post in "Other Games", but wow. So, so good.



Oh, is it getting a remaster? Weird that I haven't seen any talk about it on the ME subforum...

I need to start to think about what I'm going to play too, as I won't have much time tomorrow...

We can't play the origins, so companions:
Astarion: Rogue/Thief
Gale: Wizard (not sure if Abjuration or Evocation)
Wyll: Warlock/Fiend
Shadowheart: Cleric/Trickery
Lae'zel: Fighter/Battlemaster

The not covered options:
- Ranger: Hunter, Beastmaster
- Wizard: Abjuration or Evocation
- Warlock: Great One (aka Cthulhu)
- Figher: Eldritch Knight
- Rogue: Arcane Trickster
- Cleric: Life Domain, Light Domain

Why I can't have Bard or Paladin?   

I'll do Ranger for the first character, but I don't think I'll play it that long.

Given our options, I'm leaning towards something gish-like... Githyanki or Half-Elf Eldritch Knight.

Oh, Elf Lady with the crazy hair has a Silvanus symbol on her armor, we couldn't see that part the last time we saw her. She's most probably part of the Emerald Enclave in this case (banners were shown in a teaser a while back).

The second image looks like the PC is rolling her eyes, lol.

I tend to go for rangers first so that's where I'm heading. 

It's going to be a bit higher (early teens), Larian said playtesters complained they didn't level fast enough  , but they don't want to go too high because the story isn't one where the party is supposed to be reach that power level.

I always start D&D games playing a male human cleric, for no better reason than that I played one in my first PnP game. I suppose I'll keep the streak going.
