The first time I've played Dragon Age Origins I was a warrior Cousland. I've became queen with king Alistair. My true love was (until today) Zevran, but I felt bad breaking up with Alistair when Zevran appeared #DragonAgeDay

In the end I've got that option where you can be with both and I... DECLINED bc I'm stupid (also bc I thought I would hurt them. I know, they are fictional characters, I'm silly). I've played DA:O 10 times that year and all the other gameplays I've romance Zevran #DragonAgeDay

I'm always pro mage and pro elves. Fuck the chantry and the templars, since day one. I've cried a lot in the end, when the characters say goodbye to the warden before facing the archdemon. Hell, if I play today I'll cry all over again #DragonAgeDay

I also didn't recruit Leliana and Sten bc I kinda ignored Lothering... Yes, not the best first walkthrough. And I always took Wynne EVERYWHERE bc I was sure I would die without her in the party.
The Deep Roads was THE WORSE I ALWAYS DIED OH MY MAKER #DragonAgeDay

I've spent my first gameplay asking WHAT ABOUT FERGUS but you only see him in the end
And oh my Maker Howe was the worse
I hated Loghain back then, and my opinion about Anora was one of the first times in my life I've dealt with internalized misogyny #DragonAgeDay

Dragon Age: Origins was the first game that made me love so much videogame characters, that made me feel like part of a crazy family trying to stop a huge Blight. And one of the first times I've felt represented in a fantasy world

For these, and so many other reasons, Dragon Age is my favorite franchise. I love Thedas, I love the characters, I love the stories and everything I can do while playing. I cannot express how much Dragon Age means to me, but my love is greater than the BLIGHT ITSELF #DragonAgeDay

Sorry for the poor picture, but my first warden was Neria Surana (yes I used the basic name). Alistair is the love of her life and Zevran was her closest friend she found after leaving the tower. Despite this, Jowan is still the most important person to her.

My favorite memory from DAO was when Alistair gives you the Rose. He was my first videogame romance and he set the bar way too high for all the other guys....thanks for that😂 My first playthrough I was a female dalish elf. I played as a rouge and ended up sacrificing myself.

My first warden is Lira Tabris, the city elf rogue! I was inspired after seeing the official art for city elves. She's a sassy dagger wielder who fell hard for Zevran and can't wait to punch Loghain in the face.
