I've made a decompressor (finally) for Xbox SFAR files (and I think PS3 will work with very minor tweaks), and while I have a few, I would like to look at the others the game has to determine what other missing content we have between platforms. I am missing pretty much all of the non-story DLCs and MP5. I am very interested in MP2 and MP4 because on PC they housed a lot of content was not normally usable.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking for here. I have the trilogy, all of the DLC (well, except Pinnacle Station cuz it's not available on PS3), most of the item packs on PS3. I don't own the disks, I bought it all digitally through the Playstation Store. Neither my PS3 nor any of its software has been modded, however.
If I can assist in some way, please let me know how.
And BTW - thanks bunches for the Mod Manager and SP Controller. You rock!

I'm looking for users to dump their ME3 DLC SFAR files to disk so I can have access to them, I want to see if they differ from PC or include extra files. I doubt it, but I've found lots of extra stuff on the WiiU version, so might as well take a look. You have to have a modded console to dump the files. I know crashsuit has done this but I haven't seen him in forever... |

I know crashsuit has done this but I haven't seen him in forever... Ah man. Did I post these on the forum at some point, or was that for the PC version? I'm about two computers past whatever I had back then so I'll have to do some research to see what tools I used at the time. My console wasn't modded, but IIRC what I'd done was move the DLC to the USB, then transfer it to PC that way - or maybe I removed the HDD and put it in a USB housing? Either way I remember having a program that could read the file structure, I could just never get the coalesced modified and resaved.

I have ability to modify files a bit now. Though I'd still like to see the sfar files, or whatever those archives that wrap it in are.

Hey, I found our old thread: bsn.boards.net/thread/1356/dumping-me3-dlc-files-xboxUnfortunately, the file links are dead, but I'll see about starting tonight on getting everything reinstalled on USB on my X360, and from there, transferring to my PC. Hopefully sometime by the end of this week I'll have them up on a host somewhere for you, maybe Mega or something similar. |

Hey! Late update here just so you know where I'm at. It's installing right now to USB, then I'll see what I can pull out for you on PC. I thought I was going to be able to do it on the weekend, but I didn't have the spare storage device I thought I did.

Turning out to be a bigger pain than I remember getting the files out. Still working on it but no luck yet. It's about 3am so I'm gonna take another whack at it tomorrow. I'll get them out soon, I'm sure, just can't remember what software/hardware combo works well for getting at the files.

Once you get the archive files (big random hash name) I can use some Wx tools to extract the sfars.

OK cool, uploading to storage right now. I thought I was going to have them sooner but it's been a bear of a time trying to get into the files, none of the programs I remember using before seem to be working right.
