I've watched this video twice now, and at no point does he actually answer any of the questions. He dances around the questions, going off on tangents, pretends to answer questions with more questions....But all his words go nowhere. Don't get me wrong, I love Mass Effect, it's the best game series I've ever played--the characters are some of the best written characters I've come across in any form of media...But there's something *off* when the creator/Lead Writer...the person responsible for creating a franchise to begin with can't or won't answer straight-forward questions to which he, being the creator of everything that is (Mass Effect in this case), should know the answers to. Mac Walters didn't create Mass Effect, Casey Hudson did. He often refers to it as his "baby". Then he should've thought things through and have editors to look over the story, so they could make changes for the story to connect.

I think the way this guy talks is incredibly annoying. He is nitpicky for comedic effect but it is not that funny tbh. Say what you want about his nitpicking, but he did point out inconsistencies and potholes that made ME3 a pointless game, unfortunately.

talk about pictures.......Is it only Ashley's/Kaiden's picture that shows up on your nightstand in your cabin if you're in a relationship? Because I'm in a relationship with Jack and there's no memento of her anywhere in my quarters. If you are playing ME2, then only the ME1 LIs get picture frames since they aren't on the ship. If you are playing ME3, there should be a Jack picture if you finish the romance chain. I know there are some, since Kelly gets a picture for example.

Video was two hours and a lot of nitpicking. I am not convinced the creator isn't a little bitter, calling the human proto reaper a mountain of retardation seems extreme.
Anyway, I see this come up a lot: why didn't the council and humanity itself prepare for the invasion? May I give you the best evidence I can: Covid-19. The reapers will only attack Asia. The reapers are here but only the weak will die. The reapers are a left wing conspiracy to bring down the government and destroy the economy! Buy anti indoctrination helmets at Wal Mart for $10.99!
Anyway, damn ME3 is over eight years old. I somehow don't see drastic changes in it's future...
Also I only see a reboot working with maybe a prequel or a sequel that takes place 75 years or so later and the trilogy is long over but still has a lingering effect.

I will keep watch for this. I'm starting the CITADEL DLC tomorrow. Finished Omega and Leviathan today, both were quite fun....Leviathan is very interesting, I think. Actually explains a lot about the Reapers-- more than the actual 'star child' ending does anyway(and I like the Ending....I just think that Leviathan gives a much more detailed explanation of the Reapers, and in some respects, I think, it could have served as an ENDING other than what we got).

I think Omega is pretty underrated. It has a fair amount of fun with the Renegade/Paragon system.

Which makes Mass Effect 2 really pointless.

Let's say they dropped ME3 in your lap after ME2. How would you have made the human Reaper relevant? Not the Human one, but what we learned of the Reapers. They harvest the collective populations to create a new intelligence, which inhabits the reaper shell. The goo that the humans turned into is somehow turned into a sentient matter, a liquid based brain, that becomes more intelligent the more goo gets pumped into it. Imagine the collective intelligence of a billion brains, siphoned into a single being, sheltered by an impenetrable exoskeleton, that vastly outperforms anything and everything your previous form could do, fueled by the pure energy of an inexhaustible Reaper core. Your mind, melded with a billion others, locked forever in a continuous, subconscious debate, expanding exponentially, uninhibited by time constraints and the limitations of a singular human brain; an intelligence beyond our understanding, virtually an organic singularity, that self-improves, not limited by hardware, as it rewires itself constantly and expands by pumping even more human organic goo into itself. But, should you, somehow, be able to board the Reaper and drain it of the goo, you could render it inoperable, an empty shell. Or perhaps, you could, if the Human Reaper's remains could be studied, or Sovereign's, with the knowledge of the goo and its purpose, reprogram the Reaper brain, into a friendly? Who knows.

You just said the exact same thing that I've said, whether you know it or not. Point is that it's stupid to kill off a squadmate early in the game. An actual argument there would be useful. Why is it stupid? I just said why it was stupid on my earlier replies. You just don't agree with my response.

According to the wiki, only Kelly and Tali get pictures on Shepard's desk in ME3. If anyone has saves which prove otherwise, it should be edited. If they remaster it, they should change it so that if Shepard romances no one, it’s a picture of default Shepard.

Just to continue the note, this is a comedy bit just like Cinema Sins or Honest Trailers not actually to be critical of the game. Sadly too many people will use something like this as "evidence" to be negative about BioWare which to me shows more about them then BioWare. Right, like Cinema Sins, which has entertaining "reviews".

Hey Mike, you actually read my mind with something I've been thinking about the past hour or so: With regards to the Tenth Street Reds.....I'm writing a fan-fic story about Shepard's life before he joining the Alliance Navy while growing up on earth, living on the streets. I remember from ME 1 there was a side mission called "Old Friends" in which you meet a guy named Finch outside of Chora's Den who was a former member of the Reds with Shepard, who gives you a side mission to rescue another former member from Turian custody....and who, if you refuse, will spread the nasty rumour about Shepard's past and his/her affiliation with the Reds' and their apparent "Anti-Alien agenda".
I am wondering though....for the purposes of accuracy in my story....Do you know if the Reds were always 'anti-alien' even when Shepard was with them, or did they change and become that way sometime after he/she left for the Alliance Navy?
For the purposes of my story to fill in what information is missing and to make things up on my own that I think are interesting, I am writing things to make it seem as though they had changed and become 'anti-alien' in the years after his departure. They didn't start out that way, they were just kids living on the street trying to make ends meet. The cops and politicians gave them that bad rap of 'being a gang' because of their social status, but they weren't into anything necessarily illegal.....But due to galactic climate, inter-species tensions etc etc....The Reds' nature, agenda etc changed in the years after Shepard left for the Navy, and it is this new agenda that Finch is trying to link Shepard to. THough Shepard can admit to his past and say "yes I once was part of that gang....But they changed in the years since I left. They are not what they once were, and I do not support, condone or have any affiliation with their current agenda or (illegal) activities...."
In any case, I was wondering if you could shed some light on this....
