muahmuah I hope you'll take this comment in the spirit it's intended, but I just have to say viewing your stats bizarrely made me feel better about myself and thoroughly inadequate simultaneously. I salute you sir! Let's just see what his Volus stats are, the only parameter that clearly shows how good a player is and how much is successful with ladies according to Brutebutt University[1]. That's such a great image. Now I wanna go to Brutebutt University!

I am a scrap player and my N7 file is embarrassing to see. I don't have a gut to put it here. Just one question: why almost everyone has the most completion times in collector than the other 3 factions? Because BSNers more like to challenge themselves? But again I am just a scrap player but even my profile has the same result that the collector mastery is more than the other three. theory? Guess I'm the scrubby exception... It's geth...

I just wanted to come back to this thread to acknowledge that following my own realisation that Outsider Mastery is by far my least completed challenge, I loaded up both my Drell Adept and Volus Engineer last night, for the first time in aaaaages. Clean work. Profit. And just to, y'know, make some of you hardcore guys jealous, if I want to do some more Drelling (clue: I do), I have 24 Adrenaline Mod IIIs in my inventory.

Not a big solo player. I just started with the n7 challenge. Finished the first on gold and have already enough. I don't like playing most Krogans, Turians, Vanguards.. That's why I nearly never finish the commando challenge, although I play a lot of Asari. Collector are the best enemy and friend. Shotguns and Sniper Rifles are the most fun. Got the BotB banner after around 500hours, which means it doesn't count for anything. EDIT: Too stupid for pics.. EDIT2: I am a code-goddess

I don't like playing most Krogans Confession time, appropriate to the self-analysis this thread has prompted. I don't enjoy playing the big idiot Warlord at all (although I did my first Gold Solo with him), and I have tried more with his various build options than most other characters. I did enjoy the novelty factor and some of the animations, but I got bored quite quickly. I think the embarrassment of once encountering a BSNer while playing as the Adept equipped with a Talon pistol has made me reluctant to invest the effort into getting the most out of him, partly because I suspect deep down that it may indeed be as a non-melee, non-Omniblade-wielding build. I can honestly say that the thought of speccing a non-melee Krogan build almost brings me out in hives, and probably remains one of the final 'challenges' to me in my ME3 MP career/journey/experience. But I know that if I do it, it'll be with the Adept. As for the Vanguard, well, there's a lot of baggage with him, generally, aside from the fact that I almost never host and rarely play any Vanguards. The whole Reegar thing kinda depresses me as I hate that gun so much. He's a little one-dimensional, it has to be said. But then that leaves the Soldier and Sentinel, who embody all that is great about ME3 MP. I was highly skeptical about dipping my toe in MP, but finding out that the other species were playable was the hook that caught me. So you're basically saying I can play as Grunt? Sold. Wait, and Garrus? And Samara? And Mordin? And Thane? And Tali? Legion not so much, but we'll see. Playing as either of those two Krogans, with full melee builds, especially with Claymore or Graal (or Incendiary Venom if you really want to wreck the scoreboard) is an absolute joy that occasionally still makes me giggle while I'm playing. FOR TUCHANKAAAAA!!!!

But yeah, he was pretty much the only krogan I really played like krogan. The others were either not played at all(warlord and vanguard) or played in pyjak way, that is, tossing grenades(soldier) or bioexploding everything(shaman). Though the latter at least meeled occasionally, so there's that
So yeah, good job I guess, consider yourself proud

FOR TUCHANKAAAAA!!!! Honestly, the only Krogan I play purely as a melee kit is the Worlard. Ok, the Kroguard gets to melee all the things too. But the others I don't play with a melee focus at all. They get the Claymore/Graal and get to explode all the things. The Shaman doesn't even get that. He gets the Eagle. He is a fat Assari. There I said it.

The only one I spec for pure melee is the Sentinel, although I end up backhanding a lot of things with the others any way so I should spec for melee, but I digress. He gets a Graal or a Venom and proceeds to headbutt and pimp slap everything with no regard for bosses or sync kills. As for the Vanguard, well, there's a lot of baggage with him, generally, aside from the fact that I almost never host and rarely play any Vanguards. The whole Reegar thing kinda depresses me as I hate that gun so much. He's a little one-dimensional, it has to be said. Then don't use the Reegar on him man. Charge and Punch and Barrier everything or be DrellGod lite and Charge and Punch and CLAYMORE everyghing.

my head-canon is that nobody had the heart to tell him that its a Salarian weapon, he just likes the whole explodey, enemies-go-flying thing.

Besides, just how sure are we that Salarians actually created the venom and didn't just steal the idea from someone else? Seems more like something a vorcha would come up with. Smells like a cover-up to me.Just sayin'. Maybe we don't have the full story.

Just to be clear, all my Krogans currently have full melee builds, and pretty much always have done. I was merely speculating that if I was ever to go against type, it would have to be with the Adept. As for Venom usage, well, if those dirty Salarians are so stupid as to leave their technology lying around, it would be pure pyjakery to ignore it, especially in the case of the Phantom-trivializer. Quarians, not so much.

Let me preface this diatribe by clarifying that although I'm not the smartest frog there is, I'd like to think I know myself well with how much I've seen and been around myself. With that being said, my self analysis is that I'm a scrub who loves easy games being spicily curried by teammates. Exhibit A:Poor peasant...with a measley 1,000,000 credits. I spend so much money having to restock my medigels with Jumbo Equipment Packs that I can barely afford a passable spaceship. You can't spoil someone who is as much woman as Miss Piggy with that kind of space salary (no wonder she left me). Moreover, just look at that game time / number of games ratio...almost 20mins per game and I only ever play Gold!? You gotta be kidding me! Trust me, it gets worse though. Exhibit B:Only one Solo Mastery completed. My feeble amphibian brain can't comprehend how to extract without teammates. Without teammates to do objectives for me and for me to steal kills from I have no idea what to do. But wait, there's 1 completed Solo Master? Why yes there is: Let me tell you that is 2 Gold solos done on Giant with the Krogan Vanguard + Reegar and Geth Trooper Burninator. So does it really count? And to solo I have to resort to mozzarella tactics, so those 2 extractions may as well not exist at all. Now, to the next section. Exhibit C:I at least enough competence to always select Unknown for my matches. Looking at my boom mastery completions, I have a slight preference for the biotic kind. However, don't be fooled. Guess which biotic power I always complete first? That's right...Warp! That's because of the Warp + Incendiary glitch I abuse. So even though this accomplishment seems innocuous, you can clearly see how bad this is. Which leads us to Exhibit D... Exhibit D:Allow me to introduce you to my only Alien Mastery banner. Yes, that's right. Not only am a shameless, scrubby amphibian but I'm a racist human too?! Going through this must be making you sick but I promise we're almost finished here. On to the next. Exhibit E:Here we can see my weapon preference. Again, only one banner has been obtained, the Street Sweeper banner. Shouldn't come as a surprise. I mean come on, which weapons are the most pray-and-spray, "who cares if your aim sucks" weapons? Also note the 2 SMG completions. I think you know which 2 those are. Continuing... Exhibit F:Just take a look at these consumables: notice anything funny? If not, take a look at the number of Medigels and OShit Packs I have vs. the number of Cobra Missiles and Thermal Clip Packs...why is there such a disparity? Clearly this shows a lot of deaths and near deaths when I'm not playing an Infiltrator. Moreover, the way PUGs hoard medigel, I hoard missiles. I'm an inverse serial killer: many enemies kill just me, over and over and over again. Exhibit G: (We're almost done I promise) Here, we can get a clearer picture on my weapon preferences and overall playstyle. I'd like to draw your attention to the amount of Shotgun Rail Amp 3's I have stocked. It's the only item of which I have fewer level 3 amps than either level 1 or 2. Remember what I said about my aim being shameful? Without that, it's no surprise that Shotgun amps are my least plentiful. I use the damn things all the time because I can't fucking aim! Meanwhile, the things that aid aim (see: skill) are sitting there maxed out or close to it. Tsk tsk. Let's get this trainwreck over with. Exhibit H:Here we can see which enemies I prefer to fight. Now, I always select "Unknown" enemy as well. However, deep down the game knows how much I abhor Cerberus (fuck Cerberus) due to them requiring the most aim to deal with out of any faction. And as we've already uncovered, aiming is something my webbed fingers are incapable of doing. Thus, my lime-tinted ass just uses characters capable of AoE with high level Amps and Weapons to trick my teammates into thinking that I'm capable. But once we enter the game, they get to experience my scrubbiness first hand. Overall analysis: scrub to the highest degree. The definition of a frontrunner. I croak big and bad on the forums but put me in an actual game and I fold like beach chair.

bummer. i was hoping i'd manage to finish... dissecting the frog *i'll see myself out* before this happens. silly RL keeps getting in the way of all the fun. not much time other than to share some likes. ah well, now i'll have to focus on nitpicking what's already been said oh, and there's still Forest. them and me are well accustomed to each other's cruisy pace, so i may have a chance there still. Feel free to add in anything I missed or correct my findings. I would actually encourage it 8-)

Quarians, not so much. the soldier is probably the least melee-centric Krogan for me, just because its sort of pointless trying to melee stuff before it melts from Inferno Grenades.. in terms of melee focus its probably 1. Kroguard 2. Krentinel 3. Shaman 4. Soldier, with the first 2 waaaaaaaay ahead of the second 2

Kroguard is about as pure melee as it gets, I'll go entire waves with the Kroguard without so much as firing my gun (on Gold, at least.. Plat not so much)
