Mah Shadow. Tried her with duration cloak. Never got to make the most out of it tbh. So this is the build I ultimately settled for. Except for the shotty. I'm trolling triggering you on this one Yeah this was how I had her specced before respeccing her to what burningcherry posted- I found that I could sometimes fit two SSs into one Cloak cycle with Damage cloak, but it was inconsistent. Anyone know if the Damage cloak helps you meet any important thresholds, like SS being able to one-shot Gold Phantoms or Dragoons or anything?

With the build that DistigousForest posted your SS will insta-OHK Dragoons even with Duration Cloak, and OHK Phantoms with DoT, whereas the one I talked about does it the other way round (though I tend to use a Power Amp on Gold rather than a Cyclonic). In practice, at least on Gold, the only place I would concede that Damage Cloak has any meaningful effect is if you're taking on an Atlas (or the other main bosses) by yourself, but the Piranha deals with that pretty well. In a perfect world, you can SS a Nemesis, Centurion, Engineer or Phantom lurking behind an Atlas, then melee the Atlas from Cloak, empty a clip and cloak and repeat, usually before it has time to turn around. With Damage Cloak there's probably one fewer melee or clip required.

IIRC, with damage cloak, I was able to SS OHK Fantums on host. Without not. I have to admit, my memory is dicey on the matter. But with a light shotty, I'm able to get 2 SS in just fine.

Have we a shadow strikes tread or something to have the actual ss values cause kalence is wrong on a few things iirc, at least fitness 6 is not in ss (it was bugged at start but fixed)

I can certainly SS (insta) OHK Gold Phantoms on host with Duration Cloak. Two per cycle, with ease, obviously. Dragoons die to DoT (if not instantly decapitated by HM, which is more fun, especially if you get 2 for 1). Whether or not this is dependent on taking a Power Amp III I cannot be sure, however, but I think it works without, provided 6A is taken in Fitness, which goes slightly against popular thinking here. If you take 6b in Fitness it's the other way round regarding DoT deaths. I prefer taking the Phantoms out instantly. God knows they deserve it.

It looks like I posted a CM build while I always play her with PAMs, my bad. The actual build is this. Kalence gets SS good except the defense multipliers and of course it doesn't display DoT. On Gold it's easy, you need neither duration cloak nor PAMs to OSK goons instantly and phantoms with a second or two of DoT, with PAM even phantoms go instantly. Things get more complicated on Platinum where you need PAMs for a similar effect. All assuming you're using SEIII, SM 6B and you're on the 5A SM bonus (least relevant factor).

You're not the first person here to slag off the Shadow, and I daresay you won't be the last. I wouldn't be so rude as to hint at L2P issues with any of you, but I find her absolutely brilliant to play, skipping Electric Slash and rocking an Omniblade Piranha with AP ammo - admittedly much more frequently on Gold than Plat. I also play her (uniquely) with a Duration Cloak, because the damage bonus alternative is largely overkill, given that she can OHK on-host Phantoms already with Duration Cloak, and also because it's nice to be able to cap all the devices without breaking a sweat and reviving those poor pugs. I'd say she's perfect for Gold - almost indestructible in fact (twitchy SS finger notwithstanding - Ravagers/Abombs/Sync-Killers), while there are more obvious, easier ways of enduring Platinum. As for purging Fortification on the KroSol, you're right, and I should have acknowledged that. I'm used to toggling it regularly and don't find it interferes much with Carnage tbh. But I also agree with you that the Krentinel is the best (and by far my favourite) pure melee character in the game, and by extension my favourite character. He is a God. oh its definitely a L2P issue for me, I've been trying to use kits that I have neglected lately, but I'm just... not good with the Shadow. I really like that its a unique kit, with a unique core/gameplay-defining power... I just have yet to fully get the hang of it. Won't be rolling her out on plat anytime soon. I know I'm super late to this. I used to use Shadow with Piranha and the omni blade/accuracy mod. But now I use her with acolyte and never looked back. I sometimes will use a shuriken (for ultimate ninja points) or locust on platinum (especially if I think collectors are coming). But if a strong player like Distigious or Grunt is on my team, I'll only use the acolyte alone. For the build, I max out all stats except weapon damage. I use that for three ranks in electric slash. I like electric slash because she has no other crowd control options otherwise. I have duration, shield recharge on shadow strike, and armor damage for the sword. The goal is to pick off the weaker enemies like phantoms, dragoons, rocket troopers, collector captains, etc. You either leave the bosses for last or let your team handle them. The acolyte shot (which can be charged while you cloak) removes shields so your melee or SS can finish the enemy. I like to fire my acolyte and then immediately melee a close range enemy or SS a longer ranged one. I also use fire rounds because ES can detonate them and will panic most enemies for easier time in taking them out. Ultimately, I SS/melee when its 1-2 enemies by themselves. If I see a crowd, I fire an acolyte and unload an ES. Other than praetorians, I am fine to melee bosses. Admittedly this is not an easy or optimal build. But I have trained years in the secret teachings of Ninjitsu, so this build is natural for me. The Shadow/Acolyte was one of my most satisfying/annoying solo golds against Cerberus. Lastly, I use juggernaut shields, fire rounds, power damage amplifier, and strength mods by the way. I know its a long shot, but perhaps you may find this build fun yourself.

And I like that... it just takes some getting used to, something I haven't been able to do now since I accidently knocked my new/used ps3 off the stand and killed it (so no more ME3mp for me until I buy yet another ps3- which will be my 4th, iirc)

I quite like the Shadow as a kit. A really well played Shadow could be pretty useful to have in a team, where they can pick off lone targets with SS, for example you could have a geth prime in the front and a geth rocket trooper, doing it's annoying triple/double tapping rocket BS in the background. You could cloak and SS the rocket trooper saving your team the headache of that 1 annoying enemy in the back.
That being said it's a good idea to practice caution when it comes to SSing, to avoid outcomes where you SS'd an enemy but the tradeoff was losing a medi gel in the process.
I don't know kit that deeply as a whole, but I have a basic understanding of a SS Shadow build. I don't use ES though, but then again it wouldn't surprise if someone has found an effective build that utilises ES.

Outside of wall hacking the most useful setup of electric slash I've used is paired with the venom shotgun: charge venom, cloak, shoot venom, electric slash. It worked decently enough on gold, but I've never tried it on platinum. These days, I put 3 points into ES and only 5 points in the passive. My shadow girl will use ES a handful of times during a game to set off tech combos and stagger.

I think when its finally animated it might be better for me. I'm kind of curious about how they are going to end this and what's going to happen to Eren considering he seems to be finally going through with his plan. I am personally a bit annoyed with how they are treating Reiner (like some constantly abused spouse). But, I've been a bit annoyed with the series since what happened with Bertholdt and Reiner's against the Survey Corps a while back. Not only was it stupid in several places, but they are my favorite characters. Other than that, I'm only concerned about what happens to Jean since he's the only other character I truly care about that's still alive. Its still hilarious that 130+ chapters in and Mikasa still has no significant character growth. Overall, I'm not well versed in anime and I don't watch much of it at all. But AoT is one of my favorite things in terms of anything. I like how it tells its story for the most part, but lately I've lost some interest in it. Do you have thoughts?

I think it is special in some way: when characters in popular fiction use extreme scale of violence for a righteous goal, there's usually a lot of room for doubt if that was they only way they had; here, we spent many chapters establishing that nothing else could be done and the "Eren did nothing wrong" trolling cannot be detracted by putting up other options. I expect that Mikasa will kill Eren because the dialogue leads to this, she's the only one who can approach him and exactly this is shown on the latest cover. For the complete analogy of Ragnarök, I expect her too to die. But before that happens, the complete annihilation of Marley is inevitable and no one even pretends otherwise. I'm tired of the Braun brand plot armor, in Reiner's case, let him die as he wishes, in Gabi's case – there's character development and there's mental stability an author expects you to consider character development. Gabi is the latter case, it plays on my nerves and I want her removed. I really like Hange but how he'll probably die. You have been visited by the good wraith of the Survey Corps… Fearing about Jean too, but we'll see. First ch131 leaks are out there btw.

You have been visited by the good wraith of the Survey Corps… Fearing about Jean too, but we'll see. First ch131 leaks are out there btw. I suppose that's what ultimately makes this series interesting. To some Eren is righteous and to others he's not. I understand why he feels he has no choice in the end. But genocide on a global scale cannot lead to lasting peace that he wants. It will be interesting to see what the author does from here on out with this character. I understand Eren is a fairly unique protagonist (or is it antagonist) in terms of manga and anime. You can tell me if these claims are true or not since I've little experience with either. So Mikasa will still basically get little to no character development. It shocks me that she is as popular as she is when she is basically a borderline perfect character with her only flaw being her concern for Eren. I'll honestly be shocked if anything bad happens to Mikasa outside of having a broken heart over Eren's death. And yeah, I think the destruction of Marley is pretty inevitable based on the last chapter. I guess that's the thing about Reiner. The joke's on him because he can't die even if he wants. Though I doubt this is a unique premise as I remember a character from Metal Gear Solid 2 who felt similarly to Reiner. I just think Reiner is one of the best written characters. I'm not entirely sure why Gabi is being pushed so hard by the author honestly. I guess he wants us to equate her as the Marley Eren perhaps? Like she's the main character of the Marley side so she has plot armor of her own. I think Hange does has death flags going up around her. Especially the instance where she recalls Erwin and also all the people that have been lost up to that point. And glad to see another Jean fan. And thanks for telling me about the leaks, I'll be sure to check them out when I get a chance.

n7hq.masseffect.com/home/challenges/?name=crazybikern7s&platform=pcRed flags on an unrelated ground were raised a long time ago but what I saw yesterday was beyond expectations. – 2550 hours of gameplay and Biotic Explosions Detonated not completed for the second time – extraction/wave challenges completed with 12 characters – all weapon masteries at 1 and all but AR mastery barely touched further – 18 characters specced at all and I think not a single one maybe 6 in a reasonable way (highlights: no-Singularity Smashdept, no-Charge Smashguard, Duration-DR-Duration Reave, no-MM TSol w/ Damage-Slow-Damage mine) Always I saw the guy, he played male HSol + Harrier and wasn't bad, really. Thought he has some deeply considered build I would make a use of. THEN. Final peek at the inventory: OK, makes sense. Not everyone likes the store.

I played a couple of Golds with him a while back. The only reason I know is I captured score at end since there was him and another "-N7S". I assume they are members of this group. He kicked my butt on the score (well, no great accomplishment), and they were mid-17 min runs. So I have no complaints.
But yeah, way odd N7HQ! Definitely in the "I know what I like to play, and that's what I'm gonna do" camp. To an extreme.
Never even unlocked ("enlisted"?) ~13 of his characters! ... ... including Turian Sentinel!
Apparently just likes shooting things. And with only about 6 guns? With 1-2 classes (basic human)?
As to the AR-less HS and MM-less TSol. Maybe intense dislike for the (obnoxious) screen overlays?

I used to see Passionstyr a bit back in the day. Can't remember a thing about the player though. Rings a big frickin gong though. There was something weird about him, just cannot for the life of me remember what.

There was something weird about him, just cannot for the life of me remember what. He's on my FL. I haven't noticed anything strange. I see him active in game quite often, but to be honest I try and avoid joining his games because the connection isn't great.
