dazk , I just grabbed your lady viking at the pier. She's in Cent, of all places. I was expecting friends' vikings to show up at settlement. Cool. I really like her. Upgraded mine and he gear yesterday if it makes any difference. Wait you can find Jomsvikings elsewhere?

Wait you can find Jomsvikings elsewhere? yes, in each "main" cities of each Shires. It might require finishing the story in some cases. It's the helmet-dude-head icon on the map.

Forgot to ask the other day, I ended up in London and found the Hidden Ones Bureau but could not find a way in. Can you access it or is it story gated?

I don't think any bureau I found was story gated. Some were a real pain to get into though. Is the London one in the Roman ruins, filled with water? If so, the entrance is pretty hidden underwater in one of the corners of a pond, behind some seaweed or something. Took me a while to find it because it just looks like a black spot on the wall.

Do you just find them or is there something more to them?

Completed some of the Asgard quests today. It was quite beautiful there! One of the Asgard boss fights was bugged, and I had to redo it. The cutscene didn't play, and Eivor was trapped with the dead boss. Also tried out the pike and like it pretty well.

Hey slightly off topic but if you are using Uplay if you click Discovery up the top it will give you an option to do a 5 year wrap up video of what you have played and some stats and whilst it's fairly inaccurate with the stats (well mine were 10K plus assassinations for Odyssey (that was total kills) it's still pretty cool.

Once you climb down into that circle of tall wooden spikes, dive into the pool, and in one of the corners is a wooden barrier you can demolish. It's difficult to actually aim at, and I spent forever looking for another way in. But that is how you gain access to the locked room with the loot in it.

The friends's Jomsvikings have updated their weapons now. Looks like it might take a few hours to a day after you change their gear for others to get the updated stuff.

Do you just find them or is there something more to them? There is no story gate to the bureau. Use the raven to seek out hidden entrances, look for places you can hit / blast a hole or an opening in which you can fire off the lock on the door (doors that don't need a key). Up, down, sideways, look everywhere. Failing all those, YT is your guide.

I got an invitation to Gleandion who's being made an ealdorman. I looked it up and he's a Oxenefordscire quest. However, I've no idea where is the coronation. Edit. No idea where to go. The thorn has challenged Eivor to duel and I gave another fool an honourable sent off. I'm too soft hearted but then, I do not like Havi's opinion. He has a point but I specifically decided I'll go against whatever he said.

This is stupid. There's no way to re-read those letters nor track the mini quest. Once read, they vanished. Where's the seat of power for Oxenefordscire, does anyone know? It can't be Lundun which is another region by itself. And I got another invitation to visit the bishop in Sciropescire.

I got through the water but there was a timber structure on top of some bricks inside that I couldn't find access too and IIRC there was an icon for armour or gold that I couldn't access. Do you just find them or is there something more to them? The Lunden Bureau is accessed by leaping from atop the aqueduct into a tall, cylindrical structure. It is not story-gated. So far, the bureaus aren't related to the main story at all. They're Hytham's thing, so I doubt any will be story-gated. I think I've found four to this point. Edit: already answered upthread There are several items in Lunden that you will not be able to access until pledging Lunden and playing that storyline. I'm actually in Lunden now. It was a real craphole at this time. I am working through the story with my new allies. I'm really enjoying it and hated to shutdown for the night. Oxenefordscire was good. I was surprised by parts of it and not at all surprised by others. I guess I leaned into the hothead characterization and punched the person who needed punching. (I did not punch the second jackass when offered.) I'd been itching to do so for a while, so I couldn't resist when offered. It seemed the thing Eivor would do. We'll see if I feel the same next playthrough. It takes quite a while to come into its own, but the combat is finally taking on more depth. Enemies are varied and I now have lots of options. I just hit Power Level 205. My last big skill acquisition was the dodge-roll thing. I've not used it yet. I look forward to unleashing it on some Zealots. Speaking of Zealots, I met a new one during a large battle. I nearly killed him with a mounted arbellist. My crew pulled him behind a building, so I had to finish him off in melee. Not an issue. I think I've killed 6 or 7 of them. However many I've found, I've killed. Likewise, a goodly number of Order nutjobs have been found and killed. The Order seem to be really cookoo. I can see why the Templars splintered from them. The Order reminds me of that secretive cult within the Order who were trying to resurrect Isu. (I can't recall their name. The Templars and Assassins had a shared enemy in those guys.) I've not really learned too much about the organizations yet in-game, so maybe I'll see things differently as I learn more. Quickly bouncing back to gameplay, I've begun my move toward a fire build. I upgraded the shield Blod Wulf. Even at the blue stage, it has good stats. The perk is "a chance your weapon ignites after parrying". It's not all the time, but often enough. Even with minimal fire optimization, a flaming sword is crazy powerful. It ignites freaking everything. With the fire skill, burnt bodies keep burning like little fire traps. I also have the "flaming weapon" ability from Hytham, so I intend to burninate the countryside.

I've a feeling the event might have gone as I opened the letter before the duel. After the duel, the bishop's letter arrived. I think I did try Oxeneforda, the longhouse. Nothing there either. I'll go to Sciropescire and see if I can find the bishop.

Finished the Paladin's Stone questline and the last couple of straggler mysteries in the region. I think this is the first major questline where they didn't telegraph the ending from a mile away. More settlement upgrades, and then held my first "Feast". It looks like once you've built all the supporting buff locations it'll be a pretty decent boost. I'm not sure when the feast buff ends though - is there an indicator? Still haven't run across any of the BSN's Jomvikings. So today... feeling a little less special now. Requisite scenic shots... Playing catch with the sling raiders. Just starting to poke around London. I think London is PL 90, while I'm at... 207 right now. Found the Assassin's bureau and the Temple of Mithras. Though there were highlighted pages there I couldn't pick up. I'm sure they're tied to the main quest, but it would have been nice to have been able to have gotten ahead of the game. One thing I wish was handled better is the siege battles. I know we can sabotage certain defenses, but I wish that killing the troops inside actually made a difference. Before the siege of Eadwyn's castle, I picked off most of the defenders, but I noticed they just wind up respawning, even while you're there. Then when you start the siege, they're automatically back up to full strength.

Ok I got the bishop Deoford (sp) at Quatford cathedral. The dialogue is brief but a nice wrap up about the death of the kid. I'm going to try and see if that ceremony is still there. Edit. Geadric (sp) is at Cyne Belle Castle. Nice tip Element Zero . Eivor received an update on a certain NPC she entrusted into his care after the ceremony.
