So Eivor went to Lunden and now the city could be renamed to the Bloody Burning City or BBC. Not as cool as BBB, but it will do. The two sheriffs of the place are now friends of the clan and they will maintain order. Once back to Ravensthorpe, Randvi was much pleased. As was Hythman, who then told Eivor that Gorm was in Vindland. So Eivor was off that to mysterious land, almost naked. See, Randvi suggested to look like a thralls instead of a fierce warrior to avoid detection (and I'm pretty sure there was some flirting in exchange, but I haven't even started her quest). ----------------------- I'm not really a fan of having to ditch all my equipment.

Where can I find Tungsten? 200+ Power areas I think. Well not sure I am up for that yet I am only power level 92 or something. Wanted to progress the Settlement so at that level raided a 190 Abbey, travelled 3 plus Kilometres in the longboat and man that was a bit of a challenge. Wasn't helped by idiot members of my crew twice setting fire to buildings I was looting which also took out two of the crew. Hard to revive people when they are in a collapsed burning building!!!!! Anyway prevailed but had to run away a lot from some nasty shield guys and archers that were doing 50% damage. But we prevailed.

Just found an annoying bug. When you fully upgrade your Rations and Quiver you stop receiving Fabric. But there is an Altar in Eurvicscire that requires an offering of 5 Fabric. Impossible to complete for me as I didn't wait to farm extra when I got to the required upgrade count. So before you do your last upgrade, save at least 5 extra Fabric. Dang too late for me.

Wandered around Ledestercire or whatever it is called hunting leather, mining stuff, doing Mysteries and cleared a fort. Ended up in a town (Woten?) and did some clearing of loot there and a mystery which was one of the better ones for a guy who has retired from the army to write songs. Needed more supplies to upgrade the settlement so as above at power level 90+ I took on a 190 Abbey. It was a struggle but we won out in the end. Came back to the settlement and upgraded the built the gatle hut, the cartograper and the Hunting hut. Did a couple of quests with Petra including an archery competition where Eivor kicker her butt. That damn quest to find Wallace was a tad out there but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Did one flirt line with Petra, tempted to go all the way then break up but it just seems so mean and am trying to keep my eye on the prize which is Randi. Really want to see how that plays out story wise if I wait till she breaks up with Sigurd. I have never had under two thousand coins but bought all the maps from the Cartographer and a new horse from the town where you do the mystery quest for the retired soldier and bought some Titanium and Nickel from Yuli so I am now in the 900's with coin. I hate not having lots of money but I like my black horse a lot. Am I being stupid or is there no way to see the stats of items for sale? I am not buying something from Reda for 120 opals if I can't even see what it's stats are. Or likewise from Yuli for 360 coins if I can't see it's stats. Do I have to do the save buy check it out then reload if it isn't what I want? Re the Cartographers maps does it show on the map where Ingots are? Didn't get a chance to look as I had to log off quickly?

Essex is a lovelorn region. Love! Love! Everyone wants love! Oh for the love of god, where is love?? Is it you, my man? Is it you, my woman? Is it you, my bear? Beg, kidnap, buy, whatever works. The lady issued an invitation and I was vastly amused to find it's a spot out in the open. Really? I didn't do anything with her though (I wanted the dialogue), refused her but she wasn't angry, she regretted not having met Eivor years earlier. Well lady, years earlier, Eivor was too young.

I went against Sigurd. I was prepared to accommodate his nonsense but he went too far. In that instance, no Sigurd, you're wrong.
He keeps on doing what he does, he increases distrust, fear and creates hatred as time goes on. He will lose not just Eivor's support but everyone's loyalty at the settlement. He will lose everything.

For the vendors, here is a online list (watch out on the site, there are spoilers outside that page). It's the same items at all of them. For the stuff Reda is selling, maybe you can view the stats in the story. I rarely go there.

dazk, I just pick up my phone and look up any vendor item by name on Google. The stats are all over the internet. The perks are what you really want to be checking. The various stats will be fine as the item is upgraded. For Reda's stuff, just pause and go to the UbiStore. All his gear is coming from the online store. I messed about quite a bit today. I tracked down any Order members on whom I had any clues pointing to areas I'd already explored. The body count is 20 now, I think, after the most recent zealot who was unfortunate enough to ride up to the military camp I was pillaging. I've most recently pledged Cent and met my contact there. I agreed to help the Abbot, and began my investigation. Then, I saw so many things on the horizon and ended up exploring much of Eastern Suthsexe. I found some good stuff, so it was worth it. I saved tonight in Canterbury. It's cool to see a 9C version brought to life. As with most locations that try to encourage social stealth, the body count is quietly rising. Why would I use monks and drunks when I can plunk a few arrows into melons and assassinate the leftovers? I go wherever I wish unimpeded because there's no one alive to object or interfere. I did Reda's dailies sort of late, since my dog kept interrupting my playing. I think I have over 250 opals for Reda's shop. I hope whatever I eventually buy is cool. Nothing really interests me. Everything in there looks too cartoony. My "Hunnish Bow" hunter bow is very effective, but it's ugly. I hope they introduce some realistic looking bows at some point. I found a bug. I already own the Galloglach Armor. I got in pretty early, but can't recall specifically where I found it. Tonight, I decided to raid on my way from Ravensthorpe to Cent. I raided the Spalding Bandit Camp in Southern Lincolnscire. In the gear chest was the Galloglach Armor. This created a few problems. Firstly, it doubled it in my inventory. Secondly, the upgraded version I already own was reduced to starter stats. Ugh. Perhaps worst of all, items are supposed to keyed to certain chests. Google results suggest that this is the proper location in which to find this gear. So the question is then, "What did I miss, earlier?" The worst part is the wasted materials I'd used to upgrade that original piece. Ugh. The Spalding raid was super short and easy, so I tried three times to loot the chest, and the issue persisted. I reloaded and skipped that raid for now. I doubt I'll get a fix via patch, since I think the big is actually in my owning this armor too early. Still, I'll wait and see. I think I'll check the web to see who else has experienced this bug, and whether they have more complete info.

So today was all about clearing the side-quests and loot in Sciropescire before jumping into "War Weary". The rock-stacking is getting trickier now... "King of the Hill" hunh... And the Animus Anomalies are turning into mini-treks to finish. Killed the Drunkin' Bear. Not sure how he kept regenerating (online it said it ate snakes to heal, but I didn't see any in the arena), so I had to be relentless to whittle him down. Also ran into one of the Zealots, but I'm PL 240 now and kicked the crap out of him in no time flat.

Oh yeah, ran into the baseball player as well. His American accent is just so out of place here... And he makes a big deal about the "challenge", so I did a practice round with the light bow. I figured the game would give you 6-8 seconds to hit all 5 targets. It gives you 30 seconds. You could have walked up and slapped those targets in that time.

I understand the reasoning behind not bringing gear to Vinland but it's stupid Eivor doesn't even have a basic hammer or simple bow. Neither of those things would raise questions. Now it's back to square one. I'm of a mind to just go in and assassinate. take from chests instead of wasting time beating at rocks and chasing animals.

I have a feeling I'm not exploring enough I'm about to start the Suthsexe story and I'm not quite at power 160 yet (though I doubt it'll be a problem), but I haven't seen a single cairn, haven't killed a single zealot, only found one Animus anomaly, and only killed the Order members that have been part of the main story so far. Ravensthorpe is at level 5, though. Maybe once I've got Sigurd back, I'll roam around a bit.

Ended up switching to male Eivor after trying the let the animus decide option. The female performer reminded me way too much of the issues I had with the fem smuggler from swtor. Voice seemed to be all over the place, one sec its smooth, one sec its aggressive and then the next its like she been smoking for 60 years lol.
But enjoying the game otherwise. Think I'm about out of the starting zone, just going around hitting the rest of the map markers

Damn, the Jorvik bureau was well hidden. So far on the side that I didn't think to look there for a while. However you can cheese it by destroying the barred door where you are supposed to exit.
