Thank you for all the fishing info folks The mission is called The Raven and the Cuckoo and was added recently. It starts at the settlement, and introduces the new character from Mirage.

The Iron Brew Mines? Gave me a proper giggle there, well done devs Also didn't expect that appearance. Tho I suppose Kass will be in every game ever from no on, given she's immortal.
Her face is a little underanimated tho, no?

A question about the end of the Skye arc... When Kass sees the eagle statue she says something and gets emotional...what was she referring to?

A question about the end of the Skye arc... When Kass sees the eagle statue she says something and gets emotional...what was she referring to? You have played Odyssey haven't you? If not spoilers: It's the eagle carving (or one very similar) Phoibe gives Kassandra when she leaves Kephallonia and the one she lays on Phoibes dead body in Athens. IIRC I think she just says " That can't be ..... Phoibe" EDIT: Unfortunately I didn't catch the subtitles in my screenshot but I found the words on the net.

Came back to Valhalla last night after my Jedi: Fallen Order sojourn. Finished off the Grantebridgetonvilleshire arc. I panicked with the choice of the traitor. I knew it was one of the men, but started to doubt myself in the moment. I checked afterwards - and I had been right Returned to Ravensthorpe and raised it to level 3 with the addition of the Fishing Hut and Shipyard. And now Valka has arrived.

I'm taking a different approach this time around. Like you, I never thought I'd play it again. I haven't managed to finish a 2nd Odyssey run, and I loved that way more than Valhalla. But I was reading a 'retrospective' type review of Valhalla a little while back about 'the right way' to experience it. Normally I'd ignore that sort of thing, but they made an interesting point, which is if you're keen on 100%ing the game, to take care of each area (certain high level encounters aside) fully before actually engaging with the main story of the area. I thought that made a lot of sense, so I'm giving it a go. So far, so good - although I'm still right at the start, obviously.

That's usually the approach I take in any game and what it really highlights in some games like Odyssey is how damn short the actual story is. Anyway it will be a while till I replay it but I am just really put off for grinding for resources and the good gear that I am used to.

Having exploration set to hard is frustrating sometimes. I only just found that alter near Ravensthorpe, 60 hours in, and ofc I sold all my small bullhead fish already

Asgard has single handedly killed my enthusiasm for the game I've left for now, and I'm only going back when they make me ....Aaaaand now you know why I said if there was a version to buy without Dawn of Ragnarok, to get that. It looks like it added some cool abilities, but just zero interest in playing as Odin/Havi any more than was required. Unfortunately, the base game 100% achievement requires the activity from all the nine realms, so if I persist with this second PT, I'll need to spend plenty of time there. Hope you're still enjoying it - aside from Asgard - though.

Asgard has single handedly killed my enthusiasm for the game I've left for now, and I'm only going back when they make me Asgard in the main game via Valka's hut or The Dawn of Ragnarök DLC. Yes Asgard in the main game and whatever the other one are a bit painful they aren't too long from what I remember and you can just not do them can't you? Do I sound like I am defending the game? Definitely not defending those parts of the game.

I got the base game, no add ons, as I didn't enjoy the Odyssey DLCs so I was wary. I'm back in Oxford and it's good to be back on the main story. Sigurd is getting weird tho.
I let the animus decide, the interwebs said that was best for a first run. It was weird being a dude, it thru off my immersions.

I'm working on my 7th playthrough of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey and my 3rd for Valhalla maybe one day I'll do a second playthrough for Origins.
