The final Tim meeting and Starkid cut scenes are un-skipable. I know because I have tried to skip them. So I just paused the game, muted the games sound and just played music from my 360's hard drive. Just give me a renegade interrupt that allows me to walk away once we get the Destroy option. Sure, it won't change the ending, but it will allow me at least this one thing, to skip the mindless chaff of its dialogue so I can get on with the cybergenocide. Aye, who cares about what the walking meme says!

Wish people stop saying PC not many people can afford a £1200 pc for updated mod mass effect. Stop thinking of yourself think of others! Where do you get your information? You don't need anywhere close to that expensive of a PC to play video games. A decent PC to play video games is generally more then a console, but not a lot more just like anything in life its about the fancy options. This kind of post makes it sound like you need to be playing video games on ultra graphics mode to get the same experience as a console which just isn't true. Its the same as claiming I have to buy the Xbox 1 X or the PS4 Pro to be able to game, when the base models still work fine. In the end, it's not really a matter of cost so much about the plug-n-play convenience consoles usually offer more than any PC would. For anyone lacking in any amount of patience, all it takes is that one instance where the game client won't start because you have to reinstall that wretched .dll file where it all starts to fall apart. It happened to me, and I knew what to do, yet I still felt enough rage to want to choke the elderly.

Dragon Age Origins looked about five years old on release. For comparison, it released only shortly before Mass Effect 2. It's a testament to how good the game was that players were willing to look beyond the game looking like dirt patted down. Are you sure about that? I more remember being blown away by Mass Effect's 1 graphics! Like, I was sorta stunned with the motion capture, lip syncing, and shakey-cam camera work, all running off the in-game engine. Although, admittedly my frame of reference at time was mostly NWN 2.

I only wanted the option to skip Starkid's BS cut scene so I could pick the only ending I've always gone with: Destroy. But nope, had to listen to it spewing it's garbage playthough, after playthough. Also.... Or settle for something better then repeating the same old crap, like a new game that doesn't involve repeating the same old crap (well, that's what I'll be doing, don't know about anyone else). There aren't any skipping points once you get to the final level. Having no Reapers to prevent you from destroying them would be kind of silly, hence a power fantasy, like the previous games. The whole point of that confrontation is essentially this:
-You are trying to stop the Reapers. -He is there to make sure they still exist and continue harvesting.

Yeah, Mass Effect 1 looked pretty good at the time, and held up well for a good while since too. Origins, not so much.

Yes I know that, I'm saying is that I wanted to skip the dialogue so that I could finish the game without having to listen to it's BS dialogue for the XX amount of time. The same crap I've heard over, and over again. It gets boring as hell hearing it when you really don't have a damn.

Horrible gameplay, tho. At least it has a great, concise, and a well written story and characters to boot. Something that BioWare should learn from, when they decide to remake the Trilogy.

I don't think you can skip the dialogue with the Illusive Man and Anderson either. No, but I feel the Anderson/TIM dialogue sequence is more impactful in that it has a series of persuasion checks, and the Renegade options in tandem can trigger an interrupt that can end in Shepard's death if you don't catch it in time. It's my personal favorite because I can put a bullet in TIM myself rather than the lame option of having him pull a Saren 2.0.

Ah yes, the sequence involving TIM, Anderson and Shepard. I can't stop laughing at the fist pump thing. Was the fist pump thing foreshadowed by Taylor in the hospital when he did the 'can you feel it' fist pump?

Conrad Verner will always be the one who truly owns that animation, since he was the first to do it back in ME1.

I just started a Dragon Age marathon run from Origins, and I can look past the fact that it looks like a dream sequence of brown oatmeal because of how thoroughly engaging it is. Yeah say what you will about DAO and ME1's graphics if you like as they were bot ha little weak in that area. The story and general gameplay in both moer thasn made up for it. Plan on starting my first DA run on m ynwe PC soon as well. Wantto finish my NFS Heat playthrough first though

I'm sure an Intel/nVidia fan can suggest a similar build for around the same money.

Yeah there are plenty on Amazon tha tyou can get for about £300/500 just becaus eyo ucan get PC's for £1000-2000 or moer doesn't mean you have to spend that much. It really depends on you rbudget and what you want. I've had PC's before where I only spent £500 and don ea really nice job. I only spent £200 because with the way things are as ther's not many games atm that are catching my interest and withthe nwe gen coming an dm yold computer struggling t osta ycool asn functioning properly I wanted a new computer capable of matching it a I lik em ygames runing at high levels in general. So far my nwe PC is doing the job because even MEA runs nic eand smooth on i tan ds ois NFS Hea tso far which is a better indicator given Heat is a 2019 game. Bu tmos tgaming PC's I'm bettin gat around £500 will still run games like MEA jus tas well as a console can and likely will still b eable to mod an dthings like that. The ohnly difference is you won't b eable t orun things at max but you should be able to still runa game as well on a £500 PC at least as well as a console can. Not suer what mymotherboard is but I know it's an ASUS my CPU is an Intel i7-9700kf m ygraphic card is an RTX 2070 and I have 32gb RAM along with 2 SSD's and a 4 TB hard drive The hard drive is mostl yfor older games really and various files and storage space for things like mods .With regards m ySSD's they're mostly for my operating system and newer games.

They essentially went through the game, and most of the Extended Cut content is from the Cerberus base until the credits. They added an evac scene, as well as a camera pan to show you that Anderson didn't "follow you up", and they made a bunch of changes to the Starchild scene with new dialogue options and stuff. However, they didn't change the ability to skip anything. So essentially, they went through the entire game's code from the Cerberus base until the credits and added new stuff as they saw fit.

Yeah okay, the interrupts are the reason why you can't skip the Tim and Anderson cut scene. But that still doesn't explain why Starkid's cut scene wasn't skippable, because I don't remember there being any interruption prompts in it. Edit: I mean before EC came out.

The best way to skip the dialogue from thing is to choose the dialogue with it talking the least. Meaning do not choose any dialogue from the left side of the dialogue wheel.

Don't actually need to do that anymore, since I no longer play or wish to play the MET again (unless it involves a hard rewrite, but that'll never happen). But thanks for the advice anyway.😉
