So it could be there was some listing for Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, but it was pulled for some reason. I find it highly unlikely that a listing for any game would be pulled from a rating board, after existing there very briefly, enough for someone to pull it, with no seeming evidence it was ever there and no proof to back it up it ever existed. Someone would have archived or screencaped it, at least. Otherwise, it's journalistic humbug. If it's not there, with no proof that it ever was, then it's not there.
I posted it as soon as the reddit post was up and the gematsu article must have been minutes behind. It was ~22:00 in Korea when the post was made and by the time Pounce de León checked it out, if there was a listing for the ME:Legendary edition was already gone. I have some sincere reservations about how fast an EA representative could have contacted a Korean ratings board representative to unlist the ME:LE, by ~22:03. I have a hard time believing that is the case.

It could be easily someone made an official looking entry in a spreadsheet program and made it look like it was from the Korean Rating Board.

On the rating page with the linked publication : www.grac.or.kr/Board/Explanation.aspx?searchtype=004&type=view&bno=180&searchtext=is a csv file attached. The page seems legit and can be reached within the page navigation. The csv file contains a Mass Effect Legendary entry. The entries have various items, among them serial numeration. Two of these I tried within the search function of the site. type DG-NP-xx-xxxxx never returned results. I've tried with different entries from the list. type CC-NP-xxxxxx-xxx returned results, but not for the Mass Effect Legendary edition in the csv. Title searches of items in the list returned results, but not for the Mass Effect Legendary entry in the csv. I suspect the entry in the csv is incorrect since there is no trace to find in the database.

Hang on, I can probably get it from my phone. So it seems there are a couple of attachments on the Korean ratings board site that I ... can't seem to be able to download. It's listing 82 products, of which Goosebumps Dead of Night is one of them. So it could be one of the other 81 products left on the list, that I have no access to.
Oh shit, I did download it. Yeah, number 51 52 lists Mass Effect Legendary Edition. This is weird. It mostly lists games that have already released in the rest of the world or are about to. Godfall, Genshin Impact, Blackguards, Wasteland 2: DC, Conqueror's Blade, Sims 4. There's a LIONKING v2.0 in there, lol. Outriders, which is due in December, is also in there, as is NFS: Hot Pursuit, which releases on November 6. There's also "DDOUBLE DRAGON", that's right, with 2 Ds and Shinobi. Anyway, as far as I can tell, this seems to be legit. It's a little weird, but looks legit. From what I can tell, entry was made 01/09/2020, or 09/01/2020 for my American friends and was rated on 09/17/2020.
Yo, no, there's something either seriously messed up with this Korean ratings board, or Korea gets game releases waaaaaaaay too late.

Interesting, I am wondering why it is part of that sheet, but not searchable on the website. I can find the Goosebumps when doing a search, but not Mass Effect.

Yeah, I was able to find it in those documents, it just makes me wonder why its there in those downloadable documents and not have an official listing on their online database. Yeah, there is definitely something going on. Some of those entries are just wild. Like the double D "DDouble Dragon", Shinobi (?) and the LIONKING ones. Now, I'm not saying that this is it, but what if the Korean board listed a localized release of the MET as "Legendary Edition"? Because some of these games do appear to be misnamed. Now, until proven so, I have to take it as is, but it seems like all these games are getting a Korean localization, before the end of the year. So, if these games are to release, it will happen before 2021. If that's true, it makes me wonder about Jeff Grubb's latest article on the ME remaster. I also find it unlikely that the ME cast are making a second reunion without a reason. It has to be promotional, but for what? I haven't seen any remaster being promoted that way. Usually, the games speak for themselves. Like, I don't remember the Halo remasters getting the same promotional treatment, for example. I find it difficult to believe that Bioware would bring the VAs back, for a one and dump promotional tour of the ME remaster and then shelve them again. Bank on nostalgia once and then drop it. I don't think the VAs get royalties from the games sales, in order to have an investment in the remaster selling. On the other hand, getting paid to promote something from home, in a skype call, is easy money for minimum effort. But again, I find it difficult that all these VAs were contacted, with no other purpose. It makes no sense for a short or long term plan. But a lot of things make little sense to me, so I don't know.

tl;dr … something's up, we just don't know what. *but we can speculate the farkin' hell out of it* There is definitely something promotional going on. But we also have to wonder what Bioware/EA aim to achieve with the promotion and the product related. Because that is very suspicious. ME is currently a universe that encompasses more than the Milky Way. And I do understand the focus on the Trilogy cast, even as we are talking about a remaster of it, but are we going to treat Andromeda like it never happened? What for? As much shit as DA2 gets, even from the devs themselves, it's still not stricken from the continuity. You could have some Andromeda cast participating, even one or two, like Vetra's VA or Sarah's. It's like Bioware is making a statement that "this" is ME and this alone.
Which also makes you wonder what's next? Assuming they make the remaster. Where does ME go? They've basically sent out a message that they are "soft" decanonizing Andromeda. Because, arguably, if you're going down that continuity, Andromeda is in a far greater need of a remaster than the Trilogy is. The rumoured lack of the ME3MP in the remaster also notes that the franchise's future does not lie in multiplayer. Lets say then that the remaster sells. And it sells well. Some members here guestimate sale numbers in the Andromeda range. Lets say it does. Do you retire the trilogy crew a second time? Because you just dug them up to save your franchise. I mean, you can argue against it, but basically, this is what it is. I find it difficult to believe and even more difficult to accept. It was difficult enough, not to mention terribly executed, the first time and now we're just going to go through it again? For what purpose? You've just spent three games, again, establishing that this is Mass Effect, to the customer base. And I'm having a hard time believing the franchise has a future outside of it, or after it. Well, as I've said, there's always the adult 3D animation genre, but I doubt that is what Bioware is aiming for.
tl;dr it reinforces the notion that we are stuck in 2012 with ME and nothing has been made to move the franchise forward.

My only hypothesis for why it would show up this early for this ratings board is it was sent to them for the 10/20 release, but after it was sent they made the call to "fix" me1. Some ratings boards got the memo and waited to see if those changes would alter the ratings, others didn't, or the ratings board did but low level ratings dude didn't.

It's possible though it could be announced soon (N7 Day soon). That's how NFS remaster got confirmed. I'm not saying it will release a month later though.

My guess is this "Legendary Edition" is one package, but you'll be able to buy each game individually. I doubt it. Unless EA is selling the remasters for $60 each, bundled with the DLC. Or maybe not bundled with the DLC. Maybe you can buy those separately. For $15 each. But those aren't remastered. And they're not compatible with the remastered version, if you've already bought them. Oh, that would be so EA of them to do. I could literally see them do this. You can bet that at least one person inside EA thought they should do it this way. I dare them. I double dare them. I double dog dare them. Dew eet.

Dew eet. That... is not what I meant. For what it's worth, I think they'll charge $39.99 USD (like Squadrons) for each individual remastered game, and the whole package will be $60.

Are you trying to bankrupt them? How do you expect them to survive on a mere $49.99 a title. Why, $59.99 is an outright steal. $69.99 won't even help them keep the lights open. How could you pay them just $79.99?

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit remastered is also $39.99.

What? I can't tell if you're joking or not I'm joking. But I'm sure that, if EA could charge $80 for a remaster and get away with it, they would.
