Let's assume this game gets a remaster…

Interestingly, I have heard more and more about this remaster. Apparently ME1 is not up to par, so it is going to get a lot of attention. BioWare wants new players to be able to enjoy the original game as if it were modern.

On that note, I hope that they take the time to preserve as much about the original game as possible. I enjoyed the huge variety of armors, guns, mods, amps, and omni-tools. I liked customizing my squad so that we all had the same armor brands - although I do admit that Wrex usually gets the Battlemaster series from the Geth Armory most of the time.

I cannot wait to see the Citadel from the original ME in 4k resolution. Hanging out in that spot where we talked to Ashley and Kaidan about thigh high boots and a tin foil miniskirt will be epic. There are many worlds in the game that I will have to visit as well, just for the views.

I also seem to recall that they are NOT going to include multiplayer in the Mass Effect Legendary edition. Perhaps they will re-think this though. Surely they could find a way to make it profitable.

Frankly, I have no interest in ME3 at all, unless they go back and fix those horrid ending(s). It seems doubtful to me though, because they have too much hubris. Fixing those endings would un-bork the MEU and let us continue our adventures - paving the way to making even more money. Time will tell.

It really depends. I’d probably play the remastered multiplayer due to new player attention from a new release, and I’d make videos and shit of course. But I’d probably be unhappy with the multiplayer if all that happened was touched-up graphics. Some UI improvements, balance changes, and bugfixes that were never fixed in the original version would make it better remastered and re-released. Were it left the exact same, though, and literally zero changes or improvements - or heaven forbid LESS content - I’ll prefer the OG 2012 version.

Will see how it plays out. All I know for sure is, if there’s remastered ME3 multiplayer, I’ll be making videos on it like I always wanted to eight years ago.

  I do.  In the words of captain Kirrahe, "We WILL hold the line!"  I have no intention of paying twice for that rancid dogfart of a game.  I doubt that most of the people that BioWare pissed off with that shitty game and pathetic endings will pay twice for it.  Why do you think that Andromeduhhh was such an epic fail?  The answer is simple - BioWare sucks, and sounds like Buyer BeWare.  Anthem further proves the point that the premium talent that brought us the magic of ME1 and 2 are long gone.

A nice vid, I stumbled upon. After watching I immediately had to play a few rounds. 

Since ME trilogy is included with EA Play, and EA Play is included with Gamepass, which I managed to buy 6 months of for a dollar, I'm playing my way through the trilogy from the beginning.

At first, I really liked revisiting the style in the first game. Then, eventually, the combat got to me. Even the Mako eventually got to me, and I love the Mako! But it turns out, only for about 12 planets. Then I did a bunch of "Mountain" planets and got over it right quick.

I didn't bother to do the Insanity playthrough because I knew the combat would be rough.

I imported the character to ME 2, and I'm a few missions in. I'm remembering the delightful choice to do the whole game using a red and yellow colour scheme, so that everything is low-contrast and hard to read.

This time I'm doing Insanity for the achievement I never got. That is proving to be tricky because my character started as level 3. They gave me 2 levels bonus for having imported from ME 1. It's not really making much difference.

But no Banshees (at least, not yet) so I should be okay. I forget what Collectors are like in ME 2. Hopefully not as bad as ME 3.

I hear little mention of ME2 Scions, which I find most perplexing.
