I spent a few years stuck in multiplayer (which I have played a TON of), but over the last couple of months (thanks to quarantines), I finally put the time in on the campaign, and it is pretty good! Some of the side quests are the worst sorts of fetch-quests, but my basic plan now is to just ignore the side quests except for loyalty missions and establishing outposts (and a bit extra to hit the viability thresholds for the two really key cryopod perks), and it’s great.
I really hope we get a sequel to tie up loose ends and explore more of the Andromeda galaxy!

Meh, people are always going to harp on things  if you like the game, like it...if you don't like it, then that's not a problem either (at least imo. ) I personally never thought I would like Andromeda myself, especially after I kept comparing it to the trilogy here's a tip, don't compare, finish the game and then form your own opinion  I myself loved it, and have recently finished my second playthrough |

Comparing 3 games to 1 is always going to be not fair, but when compared against ME1 and that is the ONLY game MEA can and should be compared too because each is the start of their respective stories. IMHO MEA is such a superior game to ME1 it makes like an average PS1 game (and that is being kind to it).

My apologies for giving the impression that it didn't matter.
Guess I just got annoyed with the game due to its many issues it gave me that when I got to play it and got about 23 hours in the first time had my PSU croak and then after getting everything going again and getting to the last battle and having my Hard Drive HARD crash that wiped out all data -83+ hours worth...
That I didn't have the heart to go back through the rigamarow of getting it running again: Everytime I had to install it I had to go through this:
Tell me that wouldn't annoy you?

Endless install loop would be super frustrating. I didn’t have that problem, but I’ve noticed EA games seem to have more engineering problems and bugs than games from other studios. I wish BioWare was independent again, but it is what it is.

It would, having to constantly to delete games that I don't want to make room for new games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, Final Fantasy VII: Remake and their DLC on my PS4's 500 GB HD and not being able to find a new HD at a store when I actually have the money to buy it is a constant annoyance for me right now. Right I'm hoping I can get find a new HD (or failing that just get a new PS4 with 1TB HD) when Wal-Mart starts up Lay-ways for the holidays and hope that I can get the damn thing out before they close lay-ways before Christmas.

I liked Andromeda, too. Some things could be better, but some things were really good. I suggest a third option: don't read either thread. no one is going to change their opinion, but they'll fight over the opportunity to change yours, which will mostly just aggravate you.  |
