We either get to start as a Crow, or one of our companions starts as one. The armour style is very frequent and given the state Antiva is in following Tevinter Nights, and the heavy involvement of the Crows, it would be very surprising we don't see more from our more open Murder Inc. group. Harley Qun (the lady Qunari) seems like a likely companion, first time having a female Qunari companion, based on the gear, either Tal-Vasoth or Ben-Hassrath Agent. Mustachio is likely a crow and not Dorian, same excellent facial hair, but the attire and rapier he's wielding screams Antivan Crow. The Isabela lookalike is a Lord of Fortune in my opinion, very similar to Isabela, but too much clothing for our favourite pirate wench. The lady in gold, the one beside Harley Qun in the lineup and making a 'come hither' gesture to the Rotund Magister lady might be a Rivani Seer. Style of clothing doesn't match Tevinter and it would be a brand new magical tradition to experience. We've had apostates, circle mages, Dalish Keepers, a Tevinter Magister and even a magic savvy dwarf (Enchantment!).

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet. The Lady Qunari and Lady Crow who appears in this piece of concept art also appears in the piece below. Lady Qunari: Beyond the physical similarities, they also have the same kind of armor (note the red cuirass and the unique pants) Lady Crow: It is the same armor (sans the mask) - the belt, the arm armor, leg armor etc. If you look carefully, you'll also see that the Crow's armor is purple. The man to the right might be the duel-wielding rogue to the left (above), but I'm not as sure. Unlike the other two, he doesn't share the same armor, but the other two are a Crow and Qunari respectively, so they are likely to have distinctive armor designs. He also matches the general appearance of the rogue: white, male and brunette, and while I can't tell if he has sideburns and the beard, he does have a visible soul patch. I also suspect, but have no "solid" evidence, that the scantily clad lady serving as a distraction might be the woman seen in the concept art below (the furthest one to the left) This is based almost exclusively on the lady wearing revealing clothes and having the same kind of hair. Furthermore, I have two theories about the difference in design between the female Qunari. Theory #1: There are two female Qunari characters in the central cast, but not necessarily (and doubtfully) in the Party itself. Theory #2: The line-up is an earlier piece of concept art and the straight-haired Qunari is the "finalized" design. I also think we are going to get Qunari as an available player race, but that is speculation based solely on the Qunari found in this concept art. I don't know, there's just something about the character that screams PLAYER instead of NPC, especially when you compare the design to the Qunari above. The armor is non-distinctive, the hair is, for the lack of a better word, lackluster and they are clearly a mage. Iron Bull had a very non-standard Qunari design, but the design felt unique in a non-player way. This looks exactly like the mishmashed piece of thing that you end up wearing when you loot armor off corpses and add home-crafted pieces (like the out-of-place golden shoulderpad) While I do think the woman resembles Isabela, I don't think it actually is her: for one, the nose seems wrong. I think she is another Lord of Fortune. The long-haired man with the mustaché is almost certainly Dorian - it's too spot on, in my opinion, to be mere coincidence. Oddly enough, he is wearing the Antivan Crow armor. It even has the partially exposed chest that can be seen in the second piece of concept art in my post. I suspect the skeleton seen in the background is actually the companion seen furthest to the right in the line-up art: he is clearly with them, he has a skull for a head and it looks like he has the same kind of neckpiece as the character in the line-up art. Based on nothing except the color of the glow and my own theories about the plot, I'm also going to throw out a guess that the chest contains the Lyrium Idol.

I wouldn't excactly call i tunfinished just not doing it in the style that you were hoping for. They began a new quest to stop a new threat, only to be dropped for a new character. That’s unfinished. how do you know that? A new Character, yes, but the threat comes from inqusition and maybe an ongoing from Origins. They take the old quest from Inqusition, stop Solas. Maybe you will not play the inquisitor, but if i know what happend on the End with him and Solas i am okay with that. What i really want are choices and consequences and a good game play. Baldur's gate new generation sucks.

At 3:59, there is a person with what looks like pink wings. It does look like wings. But does it mean anything, or is it just "random magical effect"? necromancer mage bringing back dead companions.

I don't imagine the player character would start as an Antivan Crow because that would make the player character a murderer by default, something that none of the previous protagonists were. It would be a limited "mandatory" origin in comparison to the player being, for example, a Lord of Fortune where you have greater elbow room to decide what kind of things your characters has done. I am, however, certain that we will have an Antivan Crow as either a companion or as an "advisor" (I don't think they'll be subserviant to us this time around, however. I think it'd be more likely that we'll be working with or for them) I hadn't considered the lady in gold could be a Rivaini seer. That is an interesting idea.

I wonder if our PC is going to have the same reputation as The Black Fox? dragonage.fandom.com/wiki/Black_FoxHis exploits are can basically be summed up as espionage against tyranny, a hero among the common people. That resonates with what we’ve learned thus far about the game, and since he also operated up north and was actually last seen going into Arlathan Forest, it’d be a great opportunity to learn more about his story. I have to wonder why a man who is interested in disrupting the powerful ventured into Arlathan Forest? Maybe our PC will find out. He certainly is a mysterious character.

I don't get the appeal of the female qunari...or any of the characters shown for that matter. Than i try to explain. If you wish for something and than get it, you get hyped. or you see something you always wanted perfectly right. For me it is the woman on the left of qunari woman. My male PCs wanted a woman with long hair and sweet. Leliana and Josephine are to naive i don't know. Morrigan and Cassandra to strong. She may be perfect, but i don't get my hopes up, because this is only concept art. What LIs you wishing for? Other than Solas

As for what LIs I'm wishing for, mainly just a genuinely good person who is explicitly part of the Ace Spectrum.

Why is the blonde woman in the crow armor wielding a Qunari sword? Is that peculiar to anyone else? I’ve also never seen a warrior crow... that doesn’t fit their bill. Could she be in disguise?

I'm also a bit concerned about that. I play games to get AWAY from RL issues. And that includes politics. Just give me demons and necromancers to kill and don't make me worry about "Make Tevinter Great Again" or an influx of Qunari refguess or whatever. BioWare games have always had a political tint to them, so I doubt any new Dragon Age game would be any more then what they have already had and I doubt they would not make those kind of references either just because of the current climate either. And that is why we love the games!!!!! You can put things in order that you have no control over in real life.

If he/she will be present, it will be as an advisor or as "the mastermind" operating behind the scenes, imo.

I don't personally believe they have as I rememb r one of the last lines the Inquisito rsays tha twe need to fin dpeople he doesn' tkno win oorder to figh thim because Solas knows every trick the Inquisitor has a ttheir disposal thanks to the fac the fough tsid eb yside withthem through t the whole wa ragainst Corypheus. So the Inquisitor knows that they can't take Solas down themselves they need somebody else to do it. Another last line is "I'm off to save the world, again." Except Solas doesn't, as he is constantly surprised by the Inquisitor's decisions. Also Solas can enter people's dreams and has an army of spirits spying for him so he'll immediately know everything about the new PC too. he cann't be everywhere. And if he don't know we exist how will he spy us. But if we get stronger, he will and that is the reason for heist. We don't get strong and we will be warned from somebody about solas at the beginning. So that we don't make the mistakes the inqusition does again. Solas have no chance and when we have him, the real enemy jumped out. I like the basic structure of the story.

I think that fits - the character is holding a sword and the pose suggests that they are activating their ability... unless they are actually just looking at their sword in surprise because they've just realized they're a warrior. "Wait, I'm not a mage???"

i think the art above show a advisor aka diplomat quest. like cullen with samson. the qunari lady is the diplomat for the qun, like iron bull was. But not as companion. I don't think we are looking at an assembly of a Diplomat, Spy and Commander as much as we are looking at an assembly of faction representatives (Qun, Antivan Crows, Grey Wardens and Unknown) Given that Charter was consulting spies from the other factions about Solas, I think that might be what we are seeing: a shadow conspiracy to combat a shadow conspiracy and/or parties from across Northern Thedas interested in acquiring information about this Solas threat. They might be allies, they might be self-interested parties and they might be both. Unlike the Inquisition where everybody was united and working towards a common goal, the shadow conspiracy is an alliance made fragile by distrust (Tevinter-Qun, Antiva-Qun etc.) and machinations motivated by self-interest. Unlike the Inquisition, they are also all radically different from each other: the Antivan Crows care about profit, the Qun about ideology/conquest, the Grey Wardens about the darkspawn and the safety of the world. That i find horrible. I hope she will be a sweet and caring (not like Leliana or Josephine) noble woman not a slut. And how the slut hold her hand like a vampire. There's nothing that precludes her from having a sweet and caring personality just because she wears revealing clothes and plays sexy distraction. I don't think she's a noblewoman, however. Her choice of clothing, like the lack of leggings, doesn't match the choice of clothing we see nobility anywhere wear. That said, I don't think you need to worry about her being an Isabela 3.0. I can't see them go for a repeat of a character they've already done, especially when they keep giving that character some kind of appearance.

This character seems to be a dwarf. That massive door also seems to be of ancient elven design. Unsure if it's just a random dwarf, but if dwarves are a playable race, then that would preclude a slave origin (unless we have multiple origins) since that are no dwarven slaves in the Tevinter Imperium. Servants, yes. Slaves, no. It'd be interesting to see if we have any dealings with the Ambassadoria government and visit any of its underground embassies. Incidentally, I wonder if the male rogue might be a member of the Siccari? They are a faction of Tevinter spies first mentioned in Inquisition, but recently mentioned in Tevinter Nights. If not, I expect we'll still see them.

Oh I'd love a break from the usual Warrior specializations (Templar and Reaver have been done enough imo. thanks)
I've never tried Spirit Warrior on my characters in Origins, also because I hardly play warriors in this game series to begin with ...but it'd be interesting to have some more variety of specializations again in general

I'm not interested in Solas as a LI. I want the Inquisitor involved as the protagonist because that gives a unique connection between the protagonist and antagonist. Having some new person deal with them would be like Return of the Jedi having some random character deal with Darth Vader instead of Luke. The inquisitor is a wreck without an arm, without the anchor and there is 50% chance he/she is a slave of mythal/solas. She/He's done. If he/she will be present, it will be as an advisor or as "the mastermind" operating behind the scenes, imo. Tevinter Nights establishes the existence of prosthetic limbs that don't hinder a person's aility to adventure or fight, so the missing hand is not an issue. The Anchor no longer being with them has nothing to do with anything. There's also a 50% they're no, and the 50% they have the geass we don't know for sure what that will do. Mythal sent something off before Solas killed her after all. So no, there's nothing that makes them done other than Bioware's stupid arbitrary rules they set for themselves. I've said before, if they aren't the protagonist then they better not be in it at all. They'll be ruined if they come back as a NPC, same as Revan and Hawke.
We already know the Inquisition is heading to Tevinter, as we saw that both at the end of Trespasser and in the comics. WE also know that's where Bioware plans for DA4 to be. Solas has an army of elves and spirits and demons who can spy for him. THe moment the new character does anything, Solas will know. The Inquisition already rebuilt itself to avoid that. That's what the final choice was all about: sacrifice secrecy for influence or influence for secrecy.

Livid doesn't give you wings. I just checked in game. The only skill that I recall giving wings is Revival, at least in DAI. I'm sure I'll have them on Korbin (Legionnaire) in DAIMP when using Livid... but I am not completely sure if they are because of Livid or some other skill. Then it's probably something else. Livid alone doesn't give wings.
