Female armor versions often have some boob windows or no pants. It's a bit much sometimes. I'm totally ok, if characters show some skin, but give the option to not do that at least. You really won't like the outfit they put on Isabella then.  Incidentally, from what I've seen of the Antaam this game, they could do with some pants. I mean in DA2 they had been shipwrecked and lost a lot of their gear and yet they still wore pants.  That was the point of my rant, Isabela I mean. |

I cannot wait for this game to get into the hands of real players and the fireworks that will follow. Is the phrase actually present in every review? I didn't read every one of them, but by the headlines of some, especially the one around the 85-75 range, it doesn't seem to appear, or that they agree with that phrase (let alone the negative ones). Wouldn't also MrMattyPlays had to say it, given that he admitted that he breached the NDA, which means he signed the NDA? If this is proven true, though, I do think it's not going to end well, regardless of the quality of the game.

Can you imagine what Saber or Larian could achieve with these IPs? Obsidian? Untapped potential there. At least there's Exodus to look forward to. Or Owlcat. They let your character become an actual demon (or angel) in Wrath of the Righteous. Or Obsidian with Tyranny. You start out as the literal henchman of an ''evil'' faction but you can go any number of paths. Loved this game and I wish they had expanded on it.

I figured it out: Nu-BioWare dumped us.
We are not the target audience anymore because we demand (in their eyes) too much quality and have too high of a standard for them to reach.
Veilguard is a soft reboot and we are the chaff they are weeding out in favor of the God of War and Marvel crowd.

Also loads of people have compared it to God of War - Boomstick Gaming got a review code after he made a big comparison in his preview vid? I'm so enjoying that people believe it though, lol.

In its current format seems clear that it was edited, im guessing there's a lot missing from there. So either someone just wrote that on word and claimed its real, or someone had the real thing and copy pasted the important stuff. And yes, the fact that we need verification of something that looks laughably ridiculous says a lot idd, but I guess that's the times we live in.

My issue with it is that it doesn't seem to match with the fact that many reviews didn't seem to mention the phrase, and are quite critical of the game even in some of the mid or positive ones. I don't think I read it in the italian reviews that I read, which are both 7.5/10. I don't know how NDA works in gaming, but reading the document everyone that signed it would've had to specifically mentioned that phrase, and everyone who didn't, and several apparently were, are in breach of said agreement. # I don't know how NDA works, but reading the document it seems that everyone (not only professional reviewers, as the document was one sent, if true, to MrMattyPlays) that signed it should specifially said the game is a return to form for Bioware, and everyone that didn't should theorically be in breach of said NDA.

But i really would like to know where this thing comes from, not only because of what is implied of EA/Bioware, but because its also implicating MrMatty (what are the legal implications of "leaking" an NDA, even after its been fullfilled? At the very least the optics would be awful). Either way, true or fake, the implications are bad, so, lets wait for a source or lack of one i guess.

Not so sure about Obsidian, they're not the same anymore either if the writing of Outer Worlds is indicative of anything. I enjoyed the game quite a bit but the game it reminded me of the most wasn't Fallout but Andromeda... Humor was really hit and miss. And I'm super lukewarm about Avowed so far. But I guess at this point I'll take any studio over BioWare to continue DA or ME, sadly same as with Bethesda. I wish Microsoft gave Fallout to either Obsidian or InXile. Sigh. |
