It’s not the fact that we aren’t playing Inquisitor, it’s the fact we have no control over them at all. So they’re going to be bastardized just like Hawke was, which is what is distressing me.

I’m sure it’s going to be a good game, I just…lost all excitement for it.

I don't understand that decision, you would have thought they had learned their lesson from Hawke in DAI- seemed like the response was pretty close to unanimously negative. Weird decision.

Still, there's so much that looks awesome about DAV that I hope you regain your excitement!

The issue is since they are our character, we should have the same level of input to their mindset now as we did then.

Same! Gameplay and lore! I haven't been this hyped in...well...since Trespasser was announced! Though, I feel like so many questions that have been compiling since DA:O will be finally answered - makes me question what possibly could be next? What else will be dropped for a possible 5th game or is this designed to be the end ?

Too early to think about that, I suppose.

A quick note following some issues in the Skepticism thread last night and to discourage skeptics coming here to wind up the hyped and hyped people going over there to wind up the skeptics.

This is the Hype Train Thread, where excitement about Dragon Age The Veilguard may be freely shared without too many grumbles and complaints being made about them.

TBH I think that' sm yonml yissue with Veilguard atm waiting fo rit. I think playing the nw eFifa/FC wil mak ei teasie rfor me as I'm really enjoying tha ts ofar. I also need t ogo bac kan dfinish m yInquisition playthrough befoer I throw myself a tVeilguard anyway I plan to d otha ta little closer to Veilguards launch though. But yeah I want to get stuck in now too. As I get the feeling this could turn out  be one of m yfavourite games. I still need t opla yt okno wfo rsure but I'm reall yhyped I'v eno tbeen this hyped for a gam efor a whil eand certainly not since Midnight Suns cam eout  a couple of years ago.

It's a good chance to get another run of the previous DA games in one more time. I've been doing a DAI run the last few weeks and am about to start Tresspasser.
