I'll admit: I'm intrigued by the latter option.  I’d prefer a lot less skyhold equivalent next time, in proportion to the rest of the game at least. In Inquisition, most of the interesting characters and dialogue seemed to be at home, with only a handful of noteworthy people out in the world. I want to go out and explore the world, meet people and get involved in their stories. Or is it just the pandemic getting to me?
God, I hated that damn War Table, biggest waste of time in the game. IF something like that has to be in DA4 please let be like the War Table in MEA that game made it work.

Heh, while it’s normal to be skeptical at this point, I don’t think the game will be related beyond 2024. I do think it’s possible it’ll be released late 2023, but I wouldn’t bet on it at this point.
I do think that they’ll at least *aim* at a 2023 release when they’ll release the next trailer.
I hope that the console drought will be less overbearing next year (I don’t think it’ll be completely over). I was lucky enough to get a PS5 (only because the bundle drops Gamestop was doing last summer in my county were ‘saved’ in the site the previous time I tried to get one, so I gained a couple of minutes), but it took me months to do that, and I know people they didn’t get one still.

Seriously though the current console generation (XBX and PS5) is by far the weakest in terms of high quality games for the XBX and PS5 exclusively, (that aren't backwards compatible with the previous console generation XB1 and PS4), I've ever seen in my life. That is if you can ever find a XBX and/or PS5 with paying 3 arms and 7 legs for one to a fucking scalper. Currently DA4 and the next ME are the only games that I'm even remotely interested in and even that is somewhat limiting.

What? XBX is absolutely backwards compatible. It can play XB1, 360, and even original Xbox games. PS5 I agree needs to be better on that since it can only do PS4 games at the moment.

I'm in just the opposite boat which is kind of a weird place to be in, as I kee on alluding to. While I will make room when DA 4 does drop, more then likely, I have a lot of games out there that have been shown or teased to be in active development. Hogwartz Legacy, the new God of War game, the Basim game if it actually gets made and there is some talk of a more proper Ghost Recon sequel to. Of course the issue is none of these games have release dates with the last two even being just teased but here we are... a lot of games to potentially keep me busy...when they do decide to drop.

That's not even considering games that might be announced this year and released the next. For me, it'll be interesting which game to pick and play first, if Dreadwolf and Persona 6 gets released in a similar timeframe.
