Now you're just making up a head canon... No, I'm referring to canon. First and foremost, a whole ton of cybernetics. The thing about Shepard they wanted unchanged was their essence, what made Shepard Shepard, hence why body enhancing cybernetics were fine but a control chip was not. But at the beginning of the game, you can use the ability Charge, if your Shepard is a Vanguard. And Shepard doesn't question that she/he suddenly has biotic powers, if they were a Soldier in ME1? Heck I'm still looking for a specific version of the "Liara's Gift" scene in a Soldier turned Vanguard scenario in ME3. I would like to know what information she'll install when explaining what the device will say about Shepard and her/his history. I haven't found a video anywhere.

I approve Hanako Ikezawas extended ideas about Shepards Lazarus Project. Bioware has been very inconsistent about Shepards reuse. Depending on the dialogue, they switched between death, not death and "in a coma". In between, the topic was hushed up and didn't make more of it. Even Shepard's enhancements suddenly disappear. That shallow dialogue at the end of Episode 3 was like the rest of the endgame.

I have a certain perspective with this. I imagine myself in the director's chair, and the script is done. Why on Earth would I just randomly change it to, "Oh yeah, Shepard has powers now," with no explanation given, as if any reason is just left in the shadows for the audience to interpret (which could backfire)? Remember the eagles in LOTR?
Like I said, I'm very particular and specific whenever I play Mass Effect.

Being able to change your class is really just there for gameplay reasons (the developers didn't want to lock returning players into their ME1 class), there is no real way to justify it on a narrative level and none of the games even acknowledge the change in your class. Your class in Mass Effect has never played much into the narrative the same way your class in Dragon Age has in its lore (Mages have their own origin story in DAO, dwarfs can't be mages, etc).

They specifically said Cerberus's revivification techniques are what allows you to spec into a different class than you were in ME1, if you so chose. Integrating story and gameplay elements, like the amnesiac trope from KotOR or the XP mechanic in TSL (I know Obsidian did that, but it illustrates the point). Notice a vanguard Shep doesn't question why they can do the Charge all of a sudden either, so that's the tradeoff.

I guess that's true. It's still seems weird to mix classes like that. Maybe for NG+ I'll add a biotic power as a bonus for my Shepard, in ME1.
Anyway, I just watched more gameplay for MELE on twitch (someone is playing it live) and it's insane. Granted, you can tell the stream is compressed. I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that the ME Trilogy has now been remastered. An actual remaster. It's crazy trying to get used to it, and this is just from ME1.

Yeah usually I stick t othe same class throughout the trilogy when playing. Helps to keep things straightforward so when I choose my clas for m yShepard the ystay that class through the whole playthrough. Fo rexample I'm planning my next Shep t obe a Vanguard so she'll stay a Vanguard till I complete all 3 games

Somebody on twitch is playing ME3 LE, and that has a film grain option in the menu. Maybe you have to go to ME1's options and turn it on manually?

Can someone confirm if there is a film grain option in ME1 LE?
Update: Okay, so thanks to someone streaming the game on Twitch, I can confirm that film grain is an option in ME1. I think it might be off by default. Idk. Thank God!

That "use any armor" glitch has to work. Maybe the timing is off. And without the Paragon glitch during the UNC: Lost Module mission, I will be unable to choose every charm option for the rest of the game, right? Honestly, I've never tried to proceed without it.

I couldn't help but notice there's no film grain in MELE. There's a toggle. Also the Mako is more stable, but it's not Nomad stable (still somewhat bouncy). The boost is great to take you over cliffs before you would have had the sliding tires of doom. And having an accurate scope option (on aim) for guns and missiles is nice.

Going by memory, you need to do at least one time NG+ to be able to choose every charm/intimidate option in a single play through. They stated that they tried to crush and fix the bugs and glitches of the OT, so it’s quite possible that the exploits wouldn’t work now.

You won't be able to transfer certain things to Mass Effect 2 and 3. That's not really fair. After Therum and before Feria, I complete a lot of side quests.

"Fair" is something best left to children attending preschool and kindergarten …
After that, fair is where you pay to go on cheesy rides, play rigged skill games and eat funnel cakes or corn dogs.
And no, Beerfish , I didn't say eat horn dogs.
Sasha does not approve.

You can still play the game two times. Granted, it’d be a bit silly to implement a way to reach level 60 in one run, as they did, while having to play two times to transfer all that you want in ME2/ME3, including making your preferred choices. I doubt we’re going to know before release, though.
